00:25Now they have perhaps a second chance.
00:28This refers back to something Donald Trump said a bit earlier
00:31when asked whether potential Israeli strikes,
00:34because remember they were expected in some sense,
00:37whether potential Israeli strikes could derail negotiations
00:40that are upcoming this weekend in Oman.
00:43And Donald Trump said that maybe it might help, it might blow it.
00:49Typical Trump prevarication, but really sort of hinting at really what people are thinking.
00:53Are these strikes going to help negotiations or are they going to blow it?
00:58And, you know, Iran already thinks that the United States has supported these Israeli strikes,
01:04which Washington has denied, saying they had no involvement in the strikes
01:07that have taken place across Iran.
01:10So Iran doesn't view the United States as an honest broker,
01:14and they've already rejected the United States' demands
01:18to completely stop its nuclear enrichment program.
01:22So the other thing that these strikes really bring to the fore
01:26is a light really on Donald Trump's diplomatic strategy.
01:33It really puts a question on whether Trumpian diplomacy is being successful at this point
01:37and whether this action from Israel is going to shift any of the goalposts at this stage.
