01:29Cruz further highlighted his history of campaigning for Republican candidates across the country.
01:35And he pointed to an earlier connection with Vance himself.
01:39Cruz said he spent a full day campaigning alongside Vance when Vance was running for Senate in Ohio in 2022.
01:47Cruz said he was glad Vance won that race and that he was glad to have helped him.
01:53Now, the two Republicans are publicly trading remarks over whether the 2028 presidential race has already begun.
