00:39At a recent NATO meeting, US President Donald Trump suggested that all member countries should
00:45spend 5% of their GDP on defense.
00:49Turkey agreed, and one of the first thing it's doing is building up its air defense system
00:55to a whole new level.
01:01Unlike the Iron Dome, which gives basic level protection, Turkey's steel dome is being designed
01:07as a multi-level defense system.
01:10It uses powerful sensors and works with AI support, so it can detect and destroy incoming missiles
01:17even before they hit.
01:19And the best part, it can work over land and sea, giving Turkey full coverage.
01:29Reportedly, Turkey has already deployed parts of the steel dome near Ankara and even at sensitive
01:35places like the Akuyu nuclear plant.
01:39But that's just the start.
01:41Plans are in place to deploy this defense system across the entire country, protecting both
01:47civilians and strategic locations.
01:53The system will include short and long-range missiles plus interceptors, all working together
01:59to stop any missile or drone attack before it touches the ground.
