00:00I just want to start by talking to you about the death, the killing, I should say, of Anas al-Sharif and the other five journalists who were killed with him.
00:09What's your reaction to that news?
00:10Well, we've seen far too many journalists, humanitarians, frontline workers be killed.
00:18And in this case, we know that the Israelis made it quite clear that it was a targeted killing.
00:24Journalists, like all other civilians, must be protected.
00:27They should not be targeted.
00:31And we've seen just the tremendous work that journalists have been doing as a whole in Gaza to get out the story when no international journalists have been permitted in unless part of embeds with the Israeli military.
00:47And so this is yet another group of individuals who are focused on getting the story out from Gaza, who we no longer will have the opportunity to hear from.
