00:00Microsoft Excel is a popular spreadsheet application that is a part of Microsoft Office 365.
00:12If I were to go ahead and open up Microsoft Excel, then this is what you see. Over here,
00:18you can see that you can go ahead and choose from different templates right here to create a new
00:23Excel seat or go ahead on to new right here to access more templates or you can click on open
00:30to open out existing spreadsheets that you may have. Let's say for example, I'm going to go ahead
00:35and choose blank workbook right here and once you do that, you get a blank workbook. Over here on the
00:41top, you can see that there's different tabs with ribbons as you can see right here that you can go
00:46ahead and access out different tools from. You can go ahead and utilize this and as we move along in
00:55this course, we're going to explore the different options that Excel provides. Over here on the bottom,
01:01you have the option to create out new spreadsheets as you can see and in one workbook right here,
01:07we can go ahead and maintain multiple spreadsheets as we need and that is how you can go ahead and
01:13work around with Excel. So Excel is made up of cells. So you can see that there's many table like
01:19cells right here and each of the cell is where you can go ahead and add in information. And in this
01:26particular course, we're going to actually see and observe how we can go ahead and then utilize this
