00:55Do you have favorite techniques yourself?
00:58I do,
00:58because I think that it's nice to see
01:02all of those different types of animation in one film
01:06because, I don't know, you get to kind of see like,
01:08oh yeah, that is how animation used to look when I was a kid.
01:12And oh yeah, there was that weird phase where they thought that was cool
01:14and it actually was not like, oh wow, that's where we are now.
01:19I think that's really beautiful.
01:21Like if you think of what films and TV shows we loved when we were kids
01:25and what they look like now, it's really cool to see all of those things, you know, in one place.
01:30Was it a challenge to play with animated characters?
01:34Yes.
01:36I mean, I was essentially by myself every day on set.
01:40So I just really had to lean into, you know, trusting my craft
01:43and then also very heavily trusting Akiva, our director,
01:48who has such a clear vision of what he was trying to execute.
01:51And so if I could just trust those things, then I was okay.
01:54And seeing how it all came together, I mean, wow.
01:58Did you know the original series, Rescue Rangers?
02:01Were you a fan of Chip and Dale before being cast?
02:05I definitely knew it.
02:06I didn't grow up watching it.
02:08I'm telling people it's a little, it's a few years before my time.
02:13But I definitely, of course, had heard of the characters before, yeah.
02:17Rescue Rangers is a smart way to bring back popular characters and stories.
02:22What do you think of revivals and reboots?
02:25You know, I think this one is unique because it brings it into,
02:30it's taking these characters that we know and love, but giving them such a unique story.
02:35And I think that's what I appreciate about this one.
02:38I think I'm not as big of a fan when it's really just like recreating something that maybe was already,
02:45you know, so excellent, you know, for what it was at that time.
02:49So I kind of like in Rescue Rangers that you still get these characters that you know and love,
02:55but you put it into the current world so that it's new, but still nostalgic at the same time.
03:02So I think they did a really great job of doing that with this film.
03:05After Chip and Dale, is there another Disney character you would like to play with?
03:12Oh, gosh. Oh, I don't know.
03:17I mean, I'd love to get into the Disney Marvel side of things.
03:21Hey, Marvel. That would be amazing.
03:25But I mean, I love Disney.
03:27I mean, it's such a part of my childhood and even all the beautiful work that they're doing right now.
03:32So I hope that this is, you know, the first of many.
