00:20back pitching now with baltimore because they've had just a lot of issues and injuries but you know
00:24these starters here i mean matthew boyd certainly was expected to start the season with the cubs
00:29and pitch well but beyond that they've had so many pitching injuries tom that's been the key
00:33it really has and this is i'm not going to say a series for the cubs we're holding out a
00:39wild card
00:40spot right now the orioles are three-ish games back you know this is a series that the cubs really
00:44should be winning two out of three and if you're not this is a good point where you need to
00:50go out
00:51and reevaluate say we need another pitcher because we haven't gotten enough and yes they dealt with
00:55injuries and boyd is back and peterson got blown up the other day giving up a million runs but this
01:00is a good spot to reevaluate saying if we can't shut down a team that's struggling like the orioles
01:05we need to make some serious adjustments because the cubs are not a team that should just have
01:10wild card aspirations for that market they need to have true playoff and championship aspirations

01:49former team and also michael waka as showcase games for them to be traded right and i i know the
01:55mets aren't the best offense but if you can have good performances on the road from two veteran

02:05maybe we talked about phillies like yeah these guys aren't gonna be frontline starters when you have
02:08a wheeler and a sanchez but a little bit of depth for a seth lugo and michael waka being a

02:13fourth starter on a team like the phillies that seems like a pretty good match right have those guys
