00:02Hello, join us. We go live to Caracas, Venezuela. Acting President Delcy Rodriguez is leading at this hour the strategies,
00:12the plans as well of action during a plenary session of the National Council of Economy.
00:21At this hour the authorities, the main authorities of the nation are meeting as well to create, to draft a
00:33road map to follow in the coming months.
00:37Attending as well the consequences, the damage that has been created by the back-to-back earthquake, the worst national
00:49disaster lived and faced by the nation since June 24th.
00:56Let's listen to statements. The evaluations created in the past weeks have shown a resilience superior to the one thought
01:10initially, particularly in the oil sector, has been intact and also continues to work without setbacks.
01:42We have three priorities.
01:52We have received a backup by international organizations that accompaniment have helped us to finance the recovery and boost the
02:06economic recovery of the nation.
02:07I want to highlight, essentially, that our relations with multilateral organizations have had a significant boost with the International Monetary
02:19Fund, for example, with key strategic sectors.
02:26We are developing today permanently oriented to concrete results.
02:34Our second priority is to inform the economic community and financial community, to inform on a daily basis as we
02:43are doing, documenting with analysis the consequences of the earthquakes,
02:48responding to these humanitarian consequences and protecting, with all of our means, health care and security of our people.
02:57Such as we are also documenting the consequences of this catastrophe, but also we are evaluating its economic consequences and
03:07we are working with multilateral organizations in this matter.
03:11Our third priority is to maintain our third priority is to maintain the objective of the restructuring of the debt.
03:18We keep moving forward in an elderly manner in the roadmap for the process of reconstruction of our sovereign debt.
03:26In fact, in the past few hours and weeks, we have been in constant exchange with our partners and international
03:35organizations.
03:36In that way, we keep working on the macroeconomic plan and incorporating as well the economic impact of the earthquakes.
03:44We wish to publish this work in the upcoming week and that would be a solid foundation to kick off
03:53an orderly process, transparent and credible,
03:57that allow us to create the fiscal space for the recovery of the nation and reconstruction of the nation.
04:03Let's be clear, the recovery would be harder without the incorporation of new financings.
04:09That means that we need to normalize our relationship with international partners in this sense that restructuring of the debt
04:18continues to be an indispensable requirement.
04:24The economic team at the service of the country has been also hit by this strategy but remains mobilized.
04:31It is a competent team and with expertise that has faced as well very hard economic circumstances including administered sanctions,
04:42the pandemic and its consequences.
04:44The tragedy has also put into effect the resilience of the people and the resilience as well of our economic
04:52institutions.
04:53Today we have an economic apparatus that continues to work within a context, a global context without precedence and in
05:02a strongest relationship with international organizations.
05:06Venezuela remains. Every difficulty we face makes us more united and more determined.
05:13Out of these tasks we will remain firm to build together a future of prosperity and hope.
05:19Thank you very much.
05:29Now, in the order of intervention, Gustavo Garcia has the word, President of the Chamber of Construction.
05:37Good afternoon, thank you very much, Acting President Delcy Rodríguez, Vice Presidents, Ministers, all of you present here.
05:49Through this invitation that you have made to the Chamber of Construction, in the first place I would like to
05:55advance the upcoming information.
05:57First of all, to congratulate all of the group of rescuers that were working in the past few weeks.
06:14Likewise, the effort made by public institutions, the Ministry of Public Works, taking for holding this process in La Guaira
06:30State, in which the work is so complicated.
06:35But the good work that we are given there, and that little by little, we are preparing the soil.
06:43On June 25th at 5am, the architect Paola Posani called me, among other groups of engineers, to be present in
06:55the offices of the Ministry.
06:56And effectively, we created their commission, and after that, with the alliance of the Oil Chamber, we created a plan
07:10of contingency,
07:11in which we included the CAF, in which we included the CAF as a bench for the financing of all
07:20of those, of all of those machines and equipment there in La Guaira.
07:28And that plan was approved by the National Government, and that there is taking place.
07:36We made a joint work with the Oil Chamber, and we opened in the webpage a number of inscriptions of
07:45equipment from enterprises that were able to participate.
07:49Around 400 equipments were registered in that webpage.
07:57And little by little, the work of transport and yellow line work is always busy.
08:07So, we are doing that first phase that practically was moved forward to bring little, minor equipments to help rescuers.
08:21But now, in the second phase, the Chamber of Construction, along with the Oil Chamber, have approximately 48 yellow machinery,
08:32heavy machinery there,
08:33helping the trucks to be taken to the exclusive sites that are being located as recollection of debris.
08:45I wanted to add about there's something that is important to consider for the Ministry or the Vice Presidency to
08:58have locations for the compilation of debris,
09:03of debris, of debris that could be destroyed with iron, that could generate dust, that could be reutilized within the
09:16upcoming constructions.
09:18Of course, we need to consider in this work of remission, the forensic process that must be present there, accompanying
09:29the process of recollection of debris.
09:33The forensics must be there to separate and study the motives of the collapses in these double earthquakes that has
09:45no precedence in history.
09:49The Miyamoto Enterprise, with which we have had conversations, they consider that this is the third case of the dramatic
09:56case in the past few years in which they have been involved.
09:59We need to evaluate that these processes of construction machinery are usually used by US enterprises.
10:12It is important that they are, but the financing that the CAF could give us is not for the sale,
10:27but for the daily use of the machinery in the sector.
10:31That is called a process that we need to include in the second phase.
10:38Now, moving on to the topic of reconstruction, I would like to read some highlights that I have here.
10:46I am not going to extend. My proposal is just a proposal on legal reforms that we need to have
10:53for the National Plan of Reconstruction, households, anti-seismic constructions.
11:01We need to say that we have been updating regarding all of the extreme weather events and national disasters during
11:13the 1999 landslide.
11:18We were present and now we are doing so in this instance. We have a proposal of economic measures.
11:24I am not going to read the whole article because we are going to propose it publicly and we are
11:31going to do so in a lecture in the upcoming days.
11:35The first point is the first point is that viabilization operational of the subsidy of 80% and implementation of
11:44subsidies on demand based on a Chilean model that has been successful.
11:54After what we have, I think the 5102 that was taken to the oil sector in which it was exempted
12:11some taxes temporarily to boost the oil production.
12:16Well, we think that in this case, in this moment, we need to stimulate the production and supply of construction
12:25materials, taxes for importations.
12:29And this is just a proposal, the exemption of some payments and taxes.
12:34Also, we have, as a third point, the legal reforms to unlock the investment of private and national and international
12:44importation.
12:47We have an example of a few years ago regarding law. I applaud your declaration and also Dr. Jorge Rodriguez
12:55in evaluating the possibility of studying these reforms of the household sector.
13:01First, a reform against taxes, the removal of articles that have restrictions on the household rent.
13:19And also, the culmination of works and we applaud the decision of the recovery and reformation of the Mission Vivienda
13:36Renace.
13:36And transfer of transfer of terrains that are available for the private sector.
13:43Technical commission for the evaluation, the immediate evaluation.
13:49And transparency and alliances between public and private enterprises for these examples.
13:58These are the points that we're very sure are going to prepare and made them public.
14:09Following.
14:27If you're joining us now in this live broadcast, we are witnessing at this hour the evaluation of strategies and
14:37plans of action
14:39during a plenary session during a plenary session of the National Council of Economy that is being led by Acting
14:47President Delcy Rodriguez.
14:49Let's listen.
14:49Now, citizen Felipe Caposolo, President of Fede Cameras, has the floor now.
14:59Well, good afternoon to all of you, Acting President of the Republic, Ministers, all of the authorities here present and
15:08colleagues, entrepreneurs.
15:11And this is a council of national economy, a little bit different from previous ones.
15:18And I would like to ask all of you to cover the humane dimension of the economy because we are
15:25in the presence of a phenomenon that has been very hard for our history and must unite all of us.
15:33It's precisely that humane aspect of the economy that characterizes us.
15:38We need to have to find common points and also let that sentiment of national pride to let it flourish.
15:47And we need also to solve our problems in ways to seek for our peaceful coexistence.
15:55And, of course, the reconstruction and the production and, of course, moving forward in the prosperity of our country is
16:03a point, a national common point.
16:06And the first thing we need to signal in this particular case of the earthquake that shook the wire state
16:16with much intensity.
16:19We have been moving.
16:21We have been in contact with authorities.
16:23We have mobilized through the construction sector everything that has to do with machinery for construction.
16:30And over 60 percent of chambers of production in the national landscape.
16:39I think it is an important point that the sensitivity that us businessmen have with the country, it is not
16:48enough.
16:50We are proposing as well from the private sector the creation of a commission, a committee for the follow up.
17:00And we are also sensitive to create proposals for the economic reconstruction of the zone.
17:06And there we are sectors and regions working hand in hand to make concrete proposals in this very sensitive moment.
17:17It is very important that all of the social sector shares one single vision, one single plan.
17:24And for it to be articulated and that it can be as well shared by all of the important sectors
17:34of the nation.
17:35And from federal cameras, of course, it is a key topic, the employment.
17:39So the immediate employment of all of those people who have been affected by this earthquake, we are concerned about
17:45that.
17:46And we are going to do our greatest effort to create new employment for the reinsertion in the working life
17:54for all of those affected and for their families as well that are affected in that sense.
17:59Of course, all of those who are alive and need to work, they need a roof.
18:06Well, here is the construction sector, the oil sector.
18:11They have been joining as well these initiatives.
18:14They are speaking at this hour about everything that has to do with the breeze.
18:19But also, I know they are thinking about clearingways, roadways, and they have also in mind the permanent household for
18:27these people that have been affected.
18:29And we see the public sector as a great planner, as a great concealer, but we want also to propose
18:36ourselves, the private sector, to put block after block and be the greatest constructors of those plans that we can
18:43do jointly for the country to progress.
18:46That vision of development, of recovery, in which we can rise ourselves and keep producing again, is not always exempt
18:56from threats.
18:57I would like to invite all of the authorities here present, so to not faint in the efforts of keep
19:03working together, to keep giving the best of yourselves and the private sector is going to be accompanying you in
19:11matters of energy.
19:12Obviously, it is important for the country to keep working and moving forward in this road of development that we
19:20want to maintain.
19:21We congratulate and want to accompany every measure that can be taken from the national executive to boost the modernization,
19:30digitalization of everything that has to do with the government and the national taxes.
19:40The willingness as well to move forward into this national, it gives us national tax authority and the formality is
19:54important for the private sector and formality must be also important for the public sector.
20:00It is important as well that as we were speaking to modernization and also to be reviewed everything that has
20:08to do with taxes, contributions that the private sector is willing to give for the growth of the nation.
20:19It is important to be reviewed that concept and making that weight even greater or less strong is going to
20:34be translated into development for the nation.
20:37I want to highlight the statements from the vice president on everything that has to do with the obligations that
20:43our country has to international organizations.
20:49Well, in no part you say you don't mention that our national debt is not just from several sectors, but
20:58for the whole nation.
20:59And I think that the efforts that we do need to be corresponding with what we are actually debiting and
21:07the obligations that we have outside our borders.
21:11And I would like to invite you to make the maximum effort to review the obligations that from abroad they
21:17want to impose on us.
21:19And I would like to ask all of you why Venezuela is sanctioned at this hour.
21:25What are the norms that explain that Venezuela needs to be sanctioned?
21:31We need to make the maximum effort united in a coordinated manner because this is our country.
21:39Well, I come here. Here is the private sector and we bring here the seed of confidence.
21:45And we would like to offer that confidence to all of you because we would like to recover well-being,
21:53employment, prosperity for every household in Venezuela.
21:57Thank you very much.
22:03Now has the floor Miriam Perez, commercial director of Siderúrgica and speaker of the Caballero sector, acting president of the
22:15Bolivar Republic of Venezuela,
22:17de C. Rodríguez, sectorial vice president of economy and finances, Dr. Calisto Ortega, sectorial vice president, ministers, women and men,
22:30and representatives of industrial chambers, businessmen and women, friends.
22:38Good afternoon.
22:39From Suzuka we would like to express our sincere accompaniment and respect to all of those affected families and communities
22:48for the double after the double earthquake that hit our nation.
22:53And also a special mention to rescuers whose raveness has been key to provide hope and save lives.
23:03And we thank this space and we reiterate our full compromise for the reconstruction of Venezuela from over 60 years.
23:12Siderúrgica is supplying the state from Zulia state with iron production and guaranteeing steel production.
23:27And today we would like to reinforce our compromise with our total capacity installed to attend the necessities of this
23:36sector.
23:37We have an annual capacity of 30,000 liquid steel with over 60,000 tons of production that we total
23:50installed capacity of over 1 million tons of cabillas steel.
23:59And that represents a strong backup in the face of an annual demand, previous double earthquake of 240,000 tons
24:08annually.
24:09Venezuela is a country that is blessed that we have the raw materials, item material that should not be out
24:19of the country.
24:20And also we have capacity to guarantee construction.
24:25So we have a message.
24:29Venezuela has the talent, the willingness, the capacity to lead the reconstruction of the nation.
24:35In Suzuka we are ready to accompany very close from up close this process,
24:42strengthening the work of our workers in the steel that will sustain the future of our nation.
24:54Venezuela.
24:56Venezuela.
24:57Venezuela.
25:05Venezuela.
25:07Venezuela.
25:13Venezuela.
25:14Venezuela.
25:16Venezuela.
25:18who have suffered after these important events in the midst of so much important changes
25:26that help us to think in solidarity, to correct the vision official that our country deserves.
25:35There is a place where we need to recognise that as there is a mechanic of trust that
25:43today we have a real state that is deployed in over 20 chambers at a national level and
25:49we have been carrying the message of hope and of help along with the authorities and
25:55the institutions of international support.
25:59From 2022 we have been participating in the murder of construction that regulates the Ministry
26:07of Households.
26:09There is the place that we have had, we have found an opportunity that in the construction
26:17sector and specifically the household sector to be reactivated and to support an 8% of GDP
26:26that also supports a challenge in our current conditions.
26:33We need the efficient support of the Ministry Paola Gonzalez and the Ministry of Households
26:41that we are very sure that she has been able to understand the real state chamber that we
26:51have had when we made the proposal of the three laws that regulate the real state in Venezuela.
27:00At this moment where the impact of June 24th event caused an immediate decreasing of the household.
27:13also an immediate demand of real state is a movement in which we need to keep working together and to
27:22keep offering.
27:25the Minister of Households and Habitat has opened, of course, an opportunity.
27:31We are convinced that multi-ladder organizations and all of the international support that we have, it is very important
27:39in the current moments.
27:41But it is needed that the national market, that those investors from Venezuela, small or big size, and is from
27:54there, from the real state of Venezuela, we have manifested in multiple meetings that we have had with all of
28:01the public sector, will be always there to support the defense of the homeland through the respect of the private
28:10property.
28:11We would like to make clear that in that atmosphere, we would like to make clear that in that atmosphere,
28:16we are also structuring proposals to have elements of financing that differentials, that could be adjusted to the atmosphere of
28:30the capital markets, to guarantee transparency, security, equity.
28:36The liquidity of the liquidity of the for those investors to enter here and help us reconstruct in Venezuela.
28:42So the real state of Venezuela cannot, not just sees, sees nothing more than abundancy in these programs of construction
28:55and also the recognition and respect that today, through the words of the president of the real state chamber can
29:04also transmit, not just in this space, but throughout the nation.
29:09Thank you very much.
29:11Thank you very much.
29:15Thank you very much.
29:15Words from citizen Dr. Delci Rodriguez Gomez, acting president of the Bolivar Republic of Venezuela.
29:23Well, good afternoon, big hug for all of you, brothers and sisters of Venezuela.
29:32I think that these days we have been understanding, better understanding what it means, the word brother and sister, to
29:41see the suffering of so many who lost a family member in this double earthquake.
29:50An earthquake without precedence in our history.
29:55We have enough information shared, spread on this matter, the impact, the size of the earthquake, of its waves, the
30:07destructive impact.
30:08We have never seen something like this before and very few parts of the world with total, with total determination
30:18where we've seen very little is the amount of solidarity that we've seen through among all of Venezuelans and how
30:28this have called on us to remain united.
30:31And volunteers, rescuers, paramedics who immediately went to the most effective state, you know, is La Guayra state.
30:41The state of La Guayra has been highly impacted locally in what it has to do with not just with
30:48their households and infrastructure and logistical structure, ports and airports, but it has what it has to do with the
30:57economic activity.
31:01That was also impacted and that we are called to assess this and that we are called to assess this.
31:24Why do I say this?
31:26Why do I say this?
31:26Why do I say this?
31:26Because what it has to do with the sources of income of our country are maintained in the growth path.
31:36The oil production is in one million, two hundred and thirty million barrels per day.
31:41We maintain our growth, the growth of our oil production for this year.
31:47It hasn't been impacted, not at all.
31:57In June, it maintained a thirty-three percent.
32:00So we are in the path of our economic recovery.
32:06And to attend this, of course, a plan for one state, for one whole state, and that is La Guayra
32:13state.
32:14And that plan of reconstruction and recovery, I wanted to make this National Council of Economy to say that we
32:24are going to do so between you and ourselves, to give everyone that is a compromise.
32:29And I want to talk to you as well and talk to the whole nation.
32:33Here we have all of the sectors of the economy, not just from the construction and industry.
32:39We have agro-industry, farmers, the productive motor of food guaranteeing the supply of our nation.
32:48There is a pharmaceutical motor guaranteeing the supply of medicines in our nation.
32:53And particularly, I have no doubt about this, the motor of construction that will work hand in hand.
33:01Because we are doing the projects, the study of soils and the projects of households that we are going to
33:08build for every family who lost their homes,
33:13but not their hopes of having the joy someday of receiving a household that was taken from them after these
33:22earthquakes.
33:23And how are we going to do so in the first hours of the actions that we took?
33:28I spoke to the ministry of households, Paola Postani, and I said to her, communication with the chamber of construction,
33:36with the real estate chamber, communication with the sector, so we can know.
33:44And I also called the minister of basic industries and national industries and I said, I want to know the
33:50capacities, the complete capacities that Venezuela has to activate them and reactivate them for the process of recovery and reconstruction
33:59that is ahead of us.
34:00And the first thing I think about was in our national capacities and we have had no problem in asking
34:09assistance, technical assistance from abroad.
34:12From the very first hours, I said this in a press conference, three hours after the double ethic, I was
34:19speaking to the coordinator of the United Nations here in Venezuela, asking him for rescuers to come.
34:26And all of the chiefs of governments who called me in those 48 hours, first 48 hours, I asked them
34:33rescuers because our objective, immediate objective was to rescue those who were alive under the debris.
34:43And the second aspect was to ask for support, international support as the engineer Garces had for everything that had
34:53to do with the study of soils,
34:54what are the greatest conditions to resist seismic.
34:59Minnesota is a seismic nation and we're continuing to be so.
35:03Unfortunately, on June 24th, 2026 will be registered in our history as one of the worst catastrophes, national catastrophes that
35:11our country has lived.
35:13But I trust plainly in the capacity of resilience of our people, in the capacity of assistance in what we
35:20have been showing as a society of union, of solidarity, of supporting those who need it.
35:27And in this moment, the activation of the National Economic Council and real estate and construction to add all of
35:38us to join us.
35:40The vice president of the economy said, you know this, we have, we retake relations with multilateral organizations and immediately
35:55they were activated to support Venezuela.
36:01Why Venezuela is sanctioned?
36:03Well, we were not the ones who asked for sanctions and we have a rest for the lifting of sanctions.
36:10And this has been a topic, an issue.
36:12We have speak about this in several economic councils.
36:16It is a topic of national consensus.
36:19If you ask enterprises, businessmen and women, no one is agreeing with sanctions.
36:25No one agrees economic blockade.
36:27An extremist sector that is, there is an extremist sector that is asking for this.
36:32But we have never dressed in asking for the end of economic blockade against Venezuela because it affects the whole
36:40nation.
36:40And we are in a moment in which it would be an extraordinary signal for the international community that those
36:52who are, those who have the possibility of lifting that blockage to do so.
36:59I asked, I sent a letter for the king of, of, of, of, of Grand Britain, of Great Britain.
37:09There, there we have our goal, our gold.
37:12The donations that we have receiving, have been receiving through LACAF have been in coordination with the Venezuelan government.
37:20The coordination to receive rescuers have been with the government of Venezuela.
37:25Who else?
37:27The, the receiving of international solidarity aid has been in coordination with the Bolivarian government.
37:34We have a government.
37:36We have a country.
37:37We have a state.
37:38And here we have a people who wants to re-burn and wants to keep moving forward and overcome the,
37:45the, the, the breeze and to, to rise again.
37:49And we will have a new law, why they have faith in this and hope.
37:53We will have a new law wider.
37:56And as we have been saying to the brothers and sisters that are in transitory camps, you sooner rather than
38:07later will have the joy of receiving the key of your new home.
38:12And that is what I say to Venezuela.
38:14Let's have faith.
38:16Let's have hope.
38:18And let's rebuild a better future.
38:20It's not just that it's about putting, setting blocks, one block after the other.
38:26It's not just the reconstruction material, reconstruction and infrastructure.
38:29It is the, the humane reconstruction as well that gives us the sense of knowing that life can be taken
38:36from us in seconds.
38:37That those who died in five seconds because they had no other option, life is like this.
38:44It, it's taken from you in seconds and we need to have an humane reconstruction and for us to show
38:51the best of Venezuela.
38:53So we can show the world that we are capable of unite and be brothers and sisters in the face
39:00of a catastrophe such as the one that we left on June 24th.
39:03That's the most important reconstruction and that's the one that I have called Venezuela renace.
39:10Venezuela will rise again and will be a different Venezuela, more humane, more conscious, more.
39:20A Venezuela that intensifies the, the brotherhood with the nations worldwide.
39:26It will be a Venezuela that constructs from equality and from social justice that deserves the most vulnerable people because
39:34there are people in poverty conditions that also receive this earthquake and require our full attention.
39:41And that new Venezuela that's the one that we have in front of us and that is why I want
39:50to, again, I want to thank you because we've been in contact with all of sectors.
39:56With Felipe on June 25th at 5pm we were exchanging messages and machinery.
40:04I asked him for machinery to help rescuers and also with Professor Juvenal, with everyone.
40:10And what we said is let's activate the business chambers of the nation because this process of reconstruction, of rebuilding
40:20is also hand in hand between the private sector and the public sector.
40:26Here we are, the muscles of the public sector.
40:29And to guarantee, I asked ministers, everything that we have in our nation and the decree was out just a
40:38few hours after the earthquake, it will be forbidden its exports of the national capacities.
40:45We have national capacities, I know that we have.
40:50And if it is required to import, then, without a doubt, we will apply the recommendations that you are giving.
41:00We have many economic announcements that will be released in the upcoming hours because we are thinking what is the
41:09plan, the economic plan of that Venezuela that is going to rise again.
41:13What is the plan that is reconstructing itself and what is going to be the plan for the white state.
41:21So we have to see how this plan evolves and from there to join all efforts.
41:26And I wanted to see you, to thank you, to listen to you, to share with you and to keep
41:34marching together.
41:36I have been so thankful for all of the nations worldwide that have supported Venezuela, each and every one of
41:45them.
41:47From within their possibilities, what they have done is a gesture that Venezuela thinks and will never forget.
41:54We will never forget this because it was a solidarity activated to our people.
42:03That is a beloved people. That is a recognized people.
42:07And I say thanks for those who were outside of Venezuela and have been doing collection efforts to send to
42:17our nation as government that we are.
42:20All of the allowances were given for the diaspora to also feel that they can lend a friendly hand to
42:33their families and friends here in Venezuela.
42:35I raise today the call to keep working together and to show that with our efforts, extraordinary efforts, Venezuela will
42:46rise again.
42:48Even more beautiful and more powerful with all of its greatest capacities to show the world.
42:54And that is the path we are living in.
42:56We are not moving apart from this path, the path of peace, the path of the path of tranquility and
43:02coexistence, as I called since early January.
43:06So thank you very much to all of you, ladies and gentlemen, for your kind attention.
43:14Thank you very much.
43:15And good afternoon. The event has concluded.
43:23We were listening to statements from acting president that is now promulgating the law for the production of cocoa and
43:33coffee.
43:33The cocoa law is seeking to boost the process of production and import and export of this product.
43:44And also the protection of those workers, of those farmers who are involved in the process of production of this
43:53important product for Venezuela.
43:57It is a space as well on guaranteeing securities for those who are involved in this strategic sector.
44:08Well, also there is going to be promulgated the production of coffee.
44:16This is taking place as well in the midst of the plenary session of the National Economic Council.
44:23Well, just a few moments ago we were listening to statements from acting president, Delsi Rodriguez,
44:29during a plenary session of the National Economic Council in which she was also listening to the proposals from all
44:36of the sectors,
44:37economic sectors of the nation in the midst as well of a process, a very delicate and non-stop process
44:45of keeping moving forward the economy
44:47in the midst of the most dramatic tragedy the country has faced in the past decades.
44:53That is the back-to-back earthquakes that struck the nation on June 24th.
44:58Acting president, Delsi Rodriguez, was saying that the most important thing is that no one is going to be left
45:04behind.
45:04And this is a process that needs to have the hands of the private sector and the hands of the
45:10public sector,
45:10all of them to work together for the well-being of Venezuelans to protect those vulnerable people
45:15and more specifically those who have been affected by the consequences of the back-to-back earthquakes.
45:22So stay tuned with Telesur English for more information on this matter.
