00:00I'm going to say first what we have done and what remains to be done.
00:06It is more honest to recognise the half way than celebrating a goal that remains to be
00:14achieved.
00:14In January, we underwent a path of reconciliation for the recovery of trust in institutions.
00:24I announced an amnesty law to heal the wounds caused for years of confrontation among brothers.
00:31Today is underway a national consultation for the reform of penal justice, a consultation,
00:39a referendum that seeks to listen to everyone, to build a fairer and humane, transparent and
00:47impartial justice that lives behind corruption, the delays and processes and the criminalisation
00:54of poverty.
00:55Recently, we agreed with the European Union, technical assistance to move forward that
01:01direction.
01:02Also we asked the collaboration of the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations.
01:10In February, the National Assembly approved unanimously the amnesty law that I proposed to the country
01:19to date.
01:21Almost 9,000 people have been benefited with this initiative, putting an end to processes
01:27derived from confrontation with which we were subjected to.
01:32Over 1,000 people have been released after the application of this law and the revision of other
01:39cases that were not included in this law.
