00:00So look, if President Trump is to go beyond military targets and go after civilian targets,
00:06in addition to the fact that this will be a war crime, it would result in Iranian retaliation
00:13against infrastructure in the rest of the Gulf countries. One of the reasons that we didn't see
00:20during the 40-day war the oil prices going above $200 a barrel is because countries like Saudi
00:28Arabia could continue to produce oil and also ship it out through the Red Sea, or that energy
00:37infrastructure in countries like the UAE or Qatar, some were damaged but not destroyed.
00:45If we're talking about destroying Iranian infrastructure, then Iranians are going to
00:49torch infrastructure in the rest of the region, and this would be a disaster for everyone,
00:55the global economy. We will have a global economic recession. We would have a massive
01:00food crisis throughout the world because fertilizer would not be able to be produced or shipped out.
01:07So again, yes, technically speaking, the U.S. can do anything. But the question is whether it's legal,
01:14whether it's logical, and whether it actually brings about the strategic objectives that the U.S.
01:20has in mind. I mean, look, doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result
01:25is the definition of insanity. And the reality is that we're back to the future where we are where
01:31we were right in the run-up to ceasefire on April 8. President Trump made similar threats. It didn't
01:38result in Iran blinking and opening the strait. And this time around, it's also not going to deliver
01:44the result that he has in mind.
