Irena Sendler risked everything to rescue more than 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during the Nazi occupation of Poland.

Working with a secret resistance network, the Polish social worker helped smuggle children to safety, created coded records of their identities, and hid the lists in jars buried beneath an apple tree. Her actions placed her directly in the path of the Nazi regime and eventually led to her arrest, torture, and near execution.

This documentary explores Irena Sendler’s rescue operation, the heartbreaking choices faced by families inside the Warsaw Ghetto, and the extraordinary courage that made her one of World War II’s most remarkable resistance heroes.
