00:08Hi, I'm Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor at Refinery29, and today I'm in Nolita talking to
00:14people about their personal style. We love this neighborhood for favorite spots like The Smile
00:19and shops like Oak, Love Adorn, and Babel Fair. Let's see who we find.
00:23Gizzy, can we talk to you? Your style. What are you wearing today?
00:30A lot of Zara in gold.
00:33And you?
00:35Jeans are by Subi, shoes are by Toms, T-shirts by a company called Emotionally Unavailable,
00:41flannel is by Patagonia, and outer shell is by Cry Precisions.
00:48What's your favorite thing for him to wear?
00:51Probably his army hat. We always have that on.
00:55There was this corset from Agent Provocateur that I really liked.
01:02What's your name?
01:03My name is Erica Steiner.
01:05And what are you wearing today?
01:06I'm wearing a maxi dress, a striped maxi dress from some store in the East Village, can't remember which,
01:14and a Pendleton coat that is not as warm as it was.
01:17I chose this outfit because it's my day off. I decided I'd go for a laid-back Brooklyn look.
01:23You seem pretty adventurous with your style. Is there anything you just will not wear?
01:29Actually, I have to say no. There was a while when I was just totally avoiding that American Apparel bra
01:35under lace look.
01:37Then the other day I was like, why not? And I love it now. So, no, there's nothing I want
01:42to try.
01:43What are you wearing today?
01:45I'm wearing a work jumper. I'm from the farm, so it's an old work jumper.
01:50And just some jeans and shoes.
01:52Well, I've got these boots. Pajama pants, which I really like.
01:58And I've got this idea about pajama pants where I think that, why would you wear pants that aren't the
02:05comfiest pants everyday?
02:07So, I always wear pajama pants out and about. This is a jacket I got from that place on St.
02:13Mark's for 20 bucks.
02:16This is a sous-vide t-shirt with their rats. They're a retrospective. When they first saw, they put rats
02:21on the runway.
02:23And this is a scarf thing and my beanie.
02:29Do people understand you on the west coast of Australia or do you feel more at home in New York
02:33with your style?
02:34We don't get looked at as much in New York because there's a way, there's heaps more crazies in New
02:41York than there is in Perth.
02:43Everyone seems to be style setting in New York. Yeah.
02:46So, what did we learn today? There's nothing else. It's that New Yorkers have amazing personal style.
02:52And it's all over the city. See you next time.
