00:05eyebrow trends.
00:06The first one I'm going to try is Instagram eyebrows.
00:10The second one is glitter eyebrows.
00:13And the third is this brand new trend that literally just started like last week and
00:19it's feathered eyebrows.
00:21Starting this challenge, the one thing I know I'm going to have to do is start waking up
00:24earlier because I am not a morning person and I usually don't wear like a full face
00:29of makeup to work.
00:30I think it will be fun to see how my outfits go with these brows because I'm going to let
00:34these brows sort of lead my life for the next three days.
00:38So it's day one of the eyebrow challenge and today we're starting with glitter.
00:43I think this technique is kind of a fun festival look or a party look.
00:51This is what the eyebrow looks like so far.
00:55Sort of like a turquoise glitter into a blue.
00:58I'm going to clean it up a little with a q-tip so it doesn't look quite as crazy.
01:03But so far I kind of like it.
01:05I put on a little bit of eyeshadow, a little winged liquid liner and I've tried to clean
01:11these up as best as I can.
01:13They're not perfect but I think they look pretty cool and we'll see what the reactions
01:17are going to be.
01:18So it's midway through the work day.
01:20My eyebrows are holding up pretty well.
01:23They're starting to migrate a little.
01:24I'm going to touch them up a little bit.
01:27Generally the reaction's been really positive and I think everyone's sort of surprised by
01:32how wearable and sort of subtle they can look and I didn't even go with a subtle color.
01:36I think you could even go with a brown glitter if you had brown hair.
01:39Even this blue sort of works.
01:41So I'm finally home from the whole day.
01:45Glitter eyebrows were a total yes.
01:47I kept surprising myself every time I looked in the mirror or caught my reflection in the
01:51store window.
01:52I was like, who's she?
01:54Look at those brows.
01:55Oh, me?
01:57I'm just removing glitter from every surface in my bathroom.
02:01Today I think is maybe the scariest one of all.
02:04I'm going to do feathered brows which is just this brand new trend.
02:08What started as a joke on Instagram has gone insanely viral.
02:12Feathered brows are this technique where you brush the top of your hair up, the bottom of
02:17your hair down, and then that little bit of skin in between looks like the stem of the feather.
02:21Glue it down with the glue stick to keep it there in that really kind of feathery position.
02:27So I think it's coming together.
02:30It looks totally crazy.
02:33This is by far the craziest brow I think I'm going to do in this experiment.
02:38This is my final look.
02:40Feathered brows with a little gold in the stem and sort of a sunset tropical eye.
02:46You know what, I'm sort of rocking the messy bedhead hair and I think I'm going to stick
02:55with it because I need anything to distract from these eyebrows.
03:00So I'm almost through with the work day.
03:02When I texted a photo of these brows to my friend, she said they freaked her out and it
03:07looked like I had caterpillars growing out of my face.
03:11So the brows actually came off really easy with my regular micellar water makeup remover
03:17and it doesn't seem like there's any damage done.
03:21I mean, these just look like my regular eyebrows, but be careful, your little eyebrow hairs don't
03:28need too much drama.
03:29Hey guys, it's day three of my viral eyebrow challenge and my last trend I'm going to try
03:37is Instagram eyebrows.
03:39Instagram brows are those like really perfect, really manicured, you know, I'm going to use
03:45like six different products to do this.
03:47I'm going to be using this NARS cream eyebrow gel.
03:53Also going to be using this really angled tiny brush for precision.
03:58This is the gel.
03:59And of course, as always, I'm going to be using my little trusty spoolies.
04:04This one is probably going to be the hardest for me if I'm honest.
04:07I think this is the one that's the most wearable of the trends, but it still can look really
04:12crazy if you do it too bold in person.
04:15I started by outlining sort of the bottom of my eyebrow with the brow gel and now I'm
04:22just sort of pulling it up through my brows.
04:25Right now it still looks sort of natural, but I think it's going to get a lot sharper
04:29and a lot more to find.
04:30I did the same technique on my opposite eyebrow and I think they're looking pretty good.
04:37I mean, they're big, but they're bold.
04:39This is my final look.
04:42It's very pink and I think it really goes well with the brows.
04:45By the way, this took like 15-20 minutes just for my eyebrows.
04:54Overall, I don't think anyone's really noticed, honestly, because I pretty much have big dark
04:59brows if I fill them in already, but you know, it's a little more intense, but I think the
05:06makeup helps balance it.
05:07I certainly don't hate them.
05:10So the three days are over.
05:11My brows have survived.
05:13I've survived.
05:14I think the biggest takeaway is that you really should and could do whatever you want with
05:21your brows.
05:22I certainly felt empowered to make bolder choices, especially sort of on an everyday basis.
05:28I realize not everyone can wear a glitter brow to the office, but I can and like I should.
05:34Why not have more fun with it and not take it too seriously?
05:37Even if people did quietly think, oh my god, what's wrong with that girl's eyebrows?
05:42Who cares?
05:44Right?
