00:10Well, the only thing I get a little solace from is they say only consequential presidents.
00:16And I am definitely consequential. I mean, if you look at the economy, if you look at what's happening, Iran,
00:21as an example, will never have a nuclear weapon.
00:23They already can't. But it's going to be formal.
00:26The straits are going to be open very soon or they're going to get hit very hard and then the
00:31straits are going to be open.
00:32And we were going to a tremendous attack, the biggest since World War Two.
00:36And they called me and said very politely, please, can we talk? Can we talk? They didn't want.
00:42And I said, yes, we can talk. Let's get it done. Finally, let's get it done.
00:48This should have been done by other presidents for 50 years.
00:51You know, you keep hearing 47, but that's been for three years now. It's been over 50 years.
00:56Other presidents or other countries should have been able to do this.
00:59And I did something that I had to do because if they had a nuclear weapon, this whole world would
01:04be a different place.
01:05If they back out again, are they done?
01:07Well, if they back out again, they're going to get hit really hard.
01:10You know, they know that. They understand that.
01:14I have no choice. They can't have a nuclear weapons. Very simple.
01:17It's not like, gee, let's, you know, think about something else.
01:19Now, it should have been done by many presidents over many years.
01:24And it wasn't. And I'm doing it. Obama was taken to the cleaners.
01:28He thought he could bribe his way out. He gave him billions, tens of billions of dollars.
01:32So stupidly. One point seven billion in cash, green cash on a Boeing 757, an airplane loaded up with cash.
01:41They probably looked at it. They said, you've got to be kidding.
01:44Now, you can't bribe your way out. All you can do is fight your way out.
01:47And if they didn't, they wouldn't be talking if we weren't doing what we're doing.
01:51We hit them very, very hard. But the hard hit is yet to come.
01:55And hopefully we won't have to use it. I hope we won't have to.
01:58We're having very good discussions. They don't like to admit that.
02:00But, you know, it's a little bit disconcerting.
02:04You tell people like you, we're having wonderful discussions.
02:07And then some guy will come out of Iran and say, we have not met.
02:11We have not. It's just until I all day long.
02:13You understand. It's just incredible.
02:15We didn't do it. They'll say we didn't talk about nuclear.
02:17Well, what do we talk about? We're sitting there twiddling our thumbs. Right.
02:22So but it doesn't matter. Let's talk.
02:24The only thing that matters is action. And they want to make a deal.
02:28We'll see what happens if they don't make a deal. It's going to be too bad.

02:36One of the big stories of the day. We'll talk about the markets.
02:39The markets were way up today. But one of the big stories, of course, is the primaries in Michigan,
02:43specifically where it looks like Abdul El-Sayed is going to win, has a very good chance to win that
02:50Senate race, at least his primary race.
02:52What do you think about the traction these these candidates who are backed by the DSA and members of the
02:57DSA are getting?
02:59Well, I think it's crazy because they're going to ruin our country. They want to. I don't know if they
03:03want to.
03:03I think either they're very naive or they actually want to ruin the country.
03:07No matter where you look, go back a thousand years with different names.
03:11Anybody doing what they're doing and what they're espousing, everything turns out to ashes and junk and filth.
03:18You know, one thing I said the other day for the first time ever, never thought of it.
03:22But you go to these cities that are taken over by the socialists and the communists.
03:26They're always filthy, dirty. They're disgusting.
03:28They're always dirty. And, you know, I'm a clean person and people I know are clean.
03:33They like that. And you are. I know you very well. You're very clean.
03:35But aside from crime, aside from all of the other problems, no jobs, no anything, no money, they're always filthy,
03:45disgusting, dirty.
03:47And that's what you'll get. You know, I won Michigan. I did great in Michigan.
03:51And we should win. We have a man. Mike Rogers is going to be fantastic.
03:56I'm not a big believer in polls, but I believe in him somewhat.
03:59And based on the polls, he'll do much better against Abdul than he's going to do against the congresswoman.
04:05Do you think, sir, that that the Republican Party is hitting home the facts that these people literally want to
04:11open up the prisons?
04:12They want to privatize. They literally want to get rid of of private insurance.
04:17They want Medicare for all, which means private insurance for none.
04:21Are they hammering that home so people get an idea of how radical these agendas are?
04:26Well, outside of you and people that happen to be in Fox and a few others, they don't talk about
04:32it.
04:32Really, they don't. You turn on NBC fake news or ABC, which is the worst of all, or CBS or
04:37CNN, any of them.
04:39They don't talk about that. They talk about as positive as you can talk, which isn't easy to do.
04:44But they don't talk about the consequences because it's all about the consequences.
04:49And a guy like this is just look at his views. And then they change the views for the election.
04:54Now, they're actually having to go a little bit right, which is very hard for them to do.
04:58But it's a very sad thing when you look at it. And as far as the Republicans, look, the Republicans
05:02talk about it.
05:03It's not put on, but they've got to get tougher. They've got to talk and they've got to talk about
05:07how well we're doing.
05:08I watched Laura before and she was saying this is the most incredible.
05:11She's giving the numbers, the financial numbers of the trade numbers that just came out today.
05:16Our trade deficit is way down. There's never been anything.
05:19It's never gone down in history like it has during this a little bit more than a year.
05:24Think of that. And she was going over just point after point.
05:28I'm saying how many people report this? People don't know.
05:30Then they say in the economy, Trump is at 42 percent.
05:33That I shouldn't be. We have the greatest economy, maybe in the history of the world for any country of
05:3819.2 trillion dollars being invested in the United States.
05:43And if I wouldn't have won, you would have had 10 trillion being taken out of the United States and
05:49your welfare would have doubled and tripled and we would have had a bankrupt.
05:53You touched on Iran there. You know, it's got to feel like Groundhog Day to you.
05:58So, I mean, they're they're in. They want a deal. The deal's off.
06:00I mean, at what point do you say enough? And there's no coming back for Iran.
06:04Well, I have plenty of time. You know, people talk about the midterms for the midterms.
06:09They want to see winning. You know, in Venezuela, we people were so opposed to what I did in Venezuela.
06:15It lasted one day. And now they look we're making hundreds of billions of dollars.
06:22And so are they. They're getting Venezuela's like a different place.
06:25But we're taking out hundreds of billions of dollars. They're taking out hundreds of billions of dollars.
06:30It's a different place. It's actually becoming. I mean, they had the tragedy the other day with the with the
06:35problem, as you know.
06:36But that was a terrible problem. The earthquake, I guess you'd call it.
06:41It was a bad one. But outside of that, they have a country that is a very happy country again.
06:47But we are we paid for the cost of that war many, many times over. Where have you heard that?
06:53But everybody was against it. And then when I won, they all think it was great.
06:57But nobody talks about it anymore. So I have to talk about it.
07:00Nobody talks about the fact that we have the safest border in history.
07:04And I probably got elected partially, at least in big part, because of the fact that the border was so
07:09bad.
07:10Twenty five million people. You know, people say 14. It's only 19 or it's only 22.
07:14It's 25 million people. Probably. It's probably more than that.
07:18They came pouring into our totally unchecked and unvetted pouring into our country.
07:22And many of these people are not the people you want in our country.
07:25We have drug lords. We have people from many people, millions of people from prisons.
07:3111,000. You've heard me say it. 888 murderers, most of whom or many of whom committed more than one
07:37murder.
07:38We're getting them all out. We've got so many of them out.
07:41We're doing such a good job. But with the hardest thing we had heard, we inherited the worst inflation in
07:46the history of our country.
07:47But the worst thing we inherited was the fact that Biden allowed 25 million people.
07:54They would not have qualified many of them, most of them, but many of them to come into the country.
07:59And we're getting them out. Why is it, do you think, that nobody is talking about the fentanyl deaths?
08:04The fentanyl deaths have come way down since the border has closed.
08:08It should be one of those prime topics because we have saved tens of thousands of lives in the short
08:13period.
08:13You look at the numbers from just a couple of years ago. They have come down dramatically.
08:18It doesn't seem to be a topic.
08:1968 percent. I'll tell you what, by sea, by ocean, 97.2 percent.
08:2697 percent.
08:28Now, you've seen the pictures of the boats and it's all horrible.
08:31But when you think that each time you knock out a boat, you're saving 10,000 people, more than that,
08:36probably.
08:37They say 25,000.
08:38But, you know, they're carrying massive amounts of fentanyl.
08:41And that's an occupation that's very hard to fill right now.
08:44Nobody does it.
08:45Nobody would have done what I did.
08:47But we're down over 97 percent in drugs coming in by sea.
08:51And now we've started a very heavy push for drugs coming in by land, which is actually comes through Mexico,
08:57which is actually much easier.
08:59The land is the sea is the hardest.
09:02But we we have a solution to that.
09:04Nobody's I mean, basically, they can't do it anymore.
09:07They don't get away with it.
09:08We know every boat that's coming in.
09:11We know who it is and what's on that boat.
09:14And it's largely fentanyl and other really bad drugs.
09:17So we're down 97 percent.
09:19But we're down the numbers on fentanyl.
09:21If you would have said that you were going to do that, nobody would believe it.
09:25They say it's just a politician talking much higher than anybody ever thought was even.
09:30People thought if we could get it down two or three percent, it would be good.
09:33We get it down 67, 68 percent.
09:37Nobody's seen.
09:37And that's why your fentanyl numbers look so good.
09:41The markets were way up today.
09:42You had oil coming down to 75 dollars a barrel.
09:45It was in the high 60s before the war started.
09:48Yet gas is still 30 percent higher than it was.
09:53Six dollars and 27 cents here in California.
09:55I paid yesterday.
09:56It's a little different thing because they charge taxes on gas every time.
10:01Every time it goes down, they take taxes.
10:03I mean, they've done a terrible job in California.
10:05But I think we're going to have it coming down to oil companies have to start going.
10:09You know, they're making too much money and they've got to start lowering it.
10:12But we're going to be down into the threes and maybe the twos pretty soon per gallon.
10:17And we'll see what happens with the war.
10:18We have a very good day today.
10:20You know, they don't like to say that.
10:21The Iranians always like to say, we didn't discuss that.
10:24People have found out that's not true.
10:27They had an all day negotiation today and it looks like things are very good.
10:31And if that happens where the strait is opened up, they'll never have a nuclear weapon.
10:35But if the strait opens up and it's partially opened anyway.
10:38And as you know, we control the strait totally through the blockade.
10:42But if we have no friction, then oil will go down to I think it'll go down to two and
10:48a half dollars a gallon, two and a half dollars.
10:52You know, it was down to 185 before I had to make this little journey to the Islamic Republic of
10:59Iran.
11:00I had to make it.
11:01We had the best numbers that anybody's ever seen.
11:05But now you take a look with that going on.
11:07We have that.
11:08You just hit to get today.
11:09I think it's number 79, 79 days.
11:12We hit an all time stock market high.
11:15Yep.
11:16401ks are the highest they've ever been by double and triple.
11:19Yep.
11:20And then I read where we're doing badly on the economy.
11:22I just, by the way, job numbers.
11:24We have more people working in the United States today than ever in history.
11:29We're doing an unbelievable job.
11:31Costs are coming way down.
11:33I inherited, you know, they talk about costs.
11:36I inherited very, very high costs.
11:38And they're all coming down now.
11:40The food, the groceries, it's all coming down.
11:42We've done a great job.
11:44You know, I think we should be given an A plus on the economy.
11:47But I think that's coming.
11:48I think people are starting to talk about it.
11:50I'm wondering, sir, I wanted to ask you about AI.
11:52As the president, you know, everybody is, everybody wants AI, but everybody's scared of it, right?
11:57Nobody wants the AI data centers in their backyard.
11:59But nobody wants China to have them either.
12:02How do you navigate that as the president of the United States?
12:04Well, a big part of it is China.
12:06Look, whoever wins the AI race is going to win AI.
12:09It's bigger than the Internet.
12:10It's bigger than maybe anything that has happened for many, for literally hundreds of years.
12:16It is the biggest thing.
12:18And it's mostly good.
12:21And the communities that are giving a hard time.
12:24Now, a lot of people think that's China-oriented, you know, that China doesn't want.
12:27They're spending a lot of money on promoting don't, you know, build because we're beating China in AI.
12:31We're really doing a great job.
12:34I approve.
12:35It was my idea, actually, for every plant that's built, they build their own electricity.
12:40So this way, and they're building unbelievably modernized, you know, much better than anything we ever had in the country.
12:47You know, these are super geniuses.
12:49They know about building plants.
12:51And they're building their own power.
12:53We need tremendous power for that.
12:55China's building massive amounts of power.
12:57We are, too.
12:58We're building more than China because every one of those buildings that you see going up is building their own.
13:03So they're not taking to the community.
13:05And the excess power that they have, which is substantial, they're selling them that back at a very low cost
13:10to the grid.
13:11So we're getting more and more electric.
13:14Of course, there's nothing.
13:16I think any community that turns down AI is making a big mistake because your taxes are going to go
13:21way down.
13:22If you own a house, it's going to be more valuable.
13:24Well, it's a tremendous thing.
13:26And I see it.
13:27It's almost like there's a campaign against, you know, data centers.
13:32But data centers, if you look at the stats, everything's good around them.
13:37Now, the thing they should look at is blue states and blue cities, cities run by Democrats because that's really
13:44the threat to the country because they're a disaster.
13:46But when you turn down data centers and within this country, when they get turned down, there's other communities that
13:53want them desperately.
13:55Two quick questions, sir.
13:56One, you're here to talk about the economy.
13:58Right.
13:58What's what's your big message?
14:00You want to leave one takeaway with this crowd.
14:02What is it?
14:03So tariffs have been incredible.
14:04We've taken in hundreds of billions of dollars.
14:07Supreme Court gave us a little shot, but we're allowed to do it in a different manner.
14:11They said that.
14:12But we are anyway, I mean, regardless, we have the law.
14:15I was doing it great.
14:17It was a very close decision, but we've done it a different way.
14:20And it's just frankly, it's just as good a little more complex, but just as good.
14:24We took in hundreds of billions of dollars in tariffs.
14:28And what it's done is it's brought all these companies that didn't want to pay because if you build here,
14:33if you make your car here, like Toyota just announced they're building one of the largest car plants in the
14:38world.
14:39They're coming out of Mexico.
14:40So others are coming here at numbers, drug companies, A.I.
14:45Yes, but not even talking about A.I.
14:46We're building more automobile manufacturing plants than at any time in the history of our country.
14:52For 40 years, we didn't build one, not one.
14:55Now we're building many and the biggest in the world.
14:58We're building the biggest in the world.
15:00So I think if there's anything, I'd say our country is rocking and rolling.
15:05We've never been this successful.
15:07They don't want to talk about it, but they're having no choice.
15:10And again, whether it's Laura or Sean or Jesse or you, you have such a good show.
15:15I watch you all the time.

15:19You know, I don't know what they call it today.
15:21They used to call it TiVo.
