00:00Well, the next speaker, I am so, feeling so honored and just really special that I'm introducing her.
00:06She is very, extremely dear to me. She is a friend, she is a colleague, and she is somebody that
00:13I deeply, truly admire.
00:15She has been working with Mindvalley for more than 10 years, and she is a coach.
00:21I would say she's one of us, if not the best, coach at Mindvalley, and she's a great person.
00:30Kind of acting coach, life coach, hypnotherapist, you name it.
00:33So, with more than 10 years of experience working as a coach at Mindvalley, and years of experience working as
00:40a coach outside of Mindvalley,
00:41you can imagine the thousands and thousands of hours that she has accumulated.
00:47A lot of insight, a lot of wisdom, a lot of knowledge.
00:51And with all that wisdom, that knowledge, and that insight, she actually came to this extremely beautiful conclusion about life.
00:57And that is that the most important thing is to come home to yourself.
01:02So, before you do anything outside of the world, before you act, before you make a decision, before you believe
01:08your thoughts,
01:09you consider your thoughts, you come home to yourself first.
01:13And she's going to teach you how to do that with the Wings Method that she created.
01:17But she won't just teach you how to do it.
01:19You're actually going to get to live today and experience the five practices of the Wings Method.
01:24So, you'll take away, you'll experience and you'll take away a tool that you can use in your life at
01:30any time to come home.
01:32So, with that, please help me give a very warm welcome to Francesca Plasio.
01:47Thank you all for being here today.
01:50And I love this stage.
01:53Because what I'm going to share with you today is the fix for a new epidemic.
02:01And don't get the mask out.
02:03It's not COVID.
02:04It's okay.
02:05But we are living in a time that is just going way too fast.
02:12Faster than what our nervous system can adapt to.
02:18And we wake up.
02:21There is social media and work and home and be happy and wake up and meditate.
02:26And also continue to do one million things and have all your machines together.
02:34And sometimes, our nervous system needs to stop.
02:42So, today we're going to do that.
02:45We're going to go into the redesign.
02:47We're going to become architects of our own life.
02:52And we're going to design a life you love, but that loves you back.
02:58So, who's with me today?
03:00Who?
03:00Who?
03:05And one of the most incredibly beautiful lessons that I learned in this overdoing,
03:11I am a Latin American mama, so you can imagine how you were doing this in my days.
03:16Was in my days, because I will explain what happened.
03:21I remember when I was a little girl, and my brothers, I was the youngest of three.
03:28And they used to grab a hose, and they used to do rainbows.
03:33Because I always wanted to play with them, all the time.
03:36And I was a teensy-peensy intent.
03:38Just a bit.
03:40So, it's like, let's play.
03:42My brothers would grab a hose, and they would start to make rainbows.
03:46Ah, Fran, there is a rainbow.
03:49You have to go to look for the treasure at the end of the rainbow.
03:53And I would spend hours with my little shovel looking for it.
03:58And I'm like, no human has ever discovered it, but I'm going to be the first.
04:05And I never found it, by the way.
04:07The leprechauns hit them really, really well.
04:11But as I grew up, I realized how much time we're spending looking for the treasure at the end of
04:20the rainbow.
04:21The next goal, the more money, the more lights, the next thing.
04:26When the real treasure is the actual rainbow.
04:32That is the real miracle.
04:38And how do I have felt, you guys, especially in this era, that somehow your to-do list is having
04:49to-do list babies as you sleep.
04:55Somehow, the things that you have on your to-do list, you wake up, you clear all of your email
05:01inbox.
05:02I feel so proud.
05:03And then the next morning, it's like 100 more.
05:05And you're like, but why?
05:09Like, we are in a constant loop of what we're doing.
05:14Like, no matter how fast we try to run, we're always behind.
05:21And I see many of your faces, because we have been in coaching containers together, in calls together.
05:28And one of the things that you say a lot is, I'm behind, Coach Fran.
05:34How do I catch up?
05:37This is a thing that I hear so much.
05:39How do I catch up?
05:42And the thing is, we are not roadrunners.
05:47We are not roadrunners.
05:49We are humans.
05:51We are not designed to have a trillion things at the same time.
05:58We are not designed that after working, investing, doing cooking, cleaning, all of the things,
06:05we, instead of having a break, we go to our homes.
06:10And then we go to our computers.
06:12And then we go to the TV.
06:15We are not giving our brains a break.
06:18And today, we should do that.
06:26Today we're going to take a journey.
06:29But before, before I tell you more, why did I start this?
06:35I was a superwoman.
06:39Not really, but I believed I was a superwoman, and I wore that with pride.
06:45Two jobs, two kids.
06:47I was the perfect man.
06:51A dance mom with my daughter.
06:53And I was always behind the scenes while working, taking phones, taking my son to therapy, taking business calls during
07:01the car.
07:02And then my ex-husband will call me in the middle of all of the jobs and all of that,
07:06what we're doing.
07:07And he would say, what's for lunch?
07:10And I would know.
07:12And I was so proud of him.
07:17And all of the time, and if he could see me, I was like this.
07:22Like one of those really, really crappy movies of the 50s, except I didn't have an apron.
07:33And then at the end of the day, I was so exhausted that I just cried myself to sleep.
07:41And then the next day, back to superwoman again.
07:45And I did that for years, and years, and years, until one day, as I was really trying hard, holding
07:58two jobs, juggling everything,
08:00the bank called me for the 11,000th time to remind me that we hadn't paid our mortgage on the
08:08house that we couldn't afford.
08:09But we were trying hard, but we were trying hard, and I got just so upset.
08:16So I grabbed my ex-husband's cars, drive to the bank, and I was just ready to tell them, stop
08:24calling.
08:25I know I owe you money.
08:26I know, and I'm trying to pay it, and I'm really doing my best.
08:33And as I'm getting into the bank, all of my nervous system was in overriding.
08:40And I grabbed my ex-husband's car, and I crashed it against the big gate that was there, and I
08:47just didn't see.
08:49And you know those moments where you crash a car, and then you hear like, and all your body goes
08:56like, and I went in reverse.
09:02Up, and I'm like, you know what?
09:04I am ready to screw this up.
09:06Let me do it properly.
09:11It's like, I'm like, fuck it.
09:15Shut up.
09:15Stop it.
09:18And I get home.
09:20And it starts to rain, and I'm like, perfect.
09:23Extra points.
09:27And as the sky opened up to rain, I allowed myself to break down and practice.
09:36And for the first half of years, I grabbed my superwoman mask, tossed it out, and I started to cry
09:45with the universe.
09:46And I said, there has to be something more to light than this.
09:50Tell me.
09:51I have been good.
09:56And I cried, and I cried, not in the coachy way that you see me every day.
10:01I cried horribly with a big bottle of wine right next to me.
10:07And then I received it.
10:09I got an email from Vision, and he said, Fran, we need all of our managers here in Kuala Lumpur.
10:15And if you, I'm from Costa Rica, so if you take that globe and you go to the exact other
10:20side of the world, Kuala Lumpur is there.
10:24And he says, I need all my managers for a month.
10:29And I'm like, okay.
10:31I go and look at my bank account, and I had $5, and I'm like, that would take me nowhere.
10:39And he said, Fran, I need you here for a month.
10:43We're going to pay for all of your expenses, and you have to fly on Monday.
10:49And I'm like, two days, $5 in the bank account.
10:53I am holding absolutely everything together.
10:57Bye-bye.
10:59You know what?
10:59Fuck it.
11:00I need that time for myself.
11:03And I made the decision to go.
11:06Not because I was sure of anything, but it was because I was holding on to something that reminded me
11:19that I was a human.
11:23I asked for help.
11:26So I go to my husband in that moment, and my kids were 13 and 17.
11:32They were teenagers.
11:33They could survive.
11:35But I never left them.
11:37Ever since I became a mom at 20, I was always in charge of everything.
11:42So I called for a family meeting, and I'm like, guys, I have something to say.
11:48And the thing is, I'm leaving for one month.
11:53And you could see their faces.
11:59My kids could not speak, and my ex-husband was like, what do I do with the kids?
12:07And I'm like, you go to the supermarket, there is a thing called food, you pay for it, you bring
12:15it.
12:15They eat, no one does.
12:17Good for them.
12:20And he's like, but how are we going to manage them going to school and therapy and dance and all
12:27of that?
12:27And I'm like, you open the doors to your magical car.
12:32You drive, you open that door, they get out, and he told me, but I work.
12:41And I just felt a volcano, and I'm like, I've been doing that for two jobs for the past 60
12:51years.
12:52And he just repeated the thing, but I worked.
12:56So in that moment, I said, you know what, I'm going to KL.
13:00I said goodbye in the airport, just feeling all of the guilt of the world.
13:04And then as I went to customs, like the guilt started to go out, I got into the plane, and
13:11I was just like this.
13:14Thirty-six hours, I go to KL, I look like the joker, because I cannot believe that I am actually
13:21in a vacation.
13:22And I start to walk the streets, and I am feeling all of this energy that I just want to
13:28explode.
13:30And I don't know what to do about it.
13:32I haven't felt this energetic and alive in a long time.
13:35So I tell the universe, call, please, show me a sign, give me an anchor, because my heart is about
13:44to burst.
13:46And I go into the office, and I see wings.
13:51And I'm like, dude, I like that.
13:55Wings.
13:57I don't know when I got here, to this version of me that was just like, so tired, and so
14:03pleasing, and so sad.
14:06I had wings.
14:08I had dreams.
14:10I had all of the things that I wanted to do.
14:12Where is that?
14:14Where is that little girl that everybody said, calm down, Fran, you're too much.
14:19I'm like, I want to be too much.
14:22So for the next month, what I did is, you know what?
14:25I am going to rebuild my wings.
14:28I am going to find my feathers that I am going to describe what is it that I want.
14:37Feathers.
14:40In every conversation.
14:43In every coffee.
14:46Every time I discovered something new, it was a new feather.
14:51And I made it my mission to build my wings.
14:56In my own terms.
14:59And today, we are going to do that.
15:06And before we do that, I want you to turn to the person right next to you,
15:13and honestly say, when was the last time you asked yourself,
15:20what do I want?
15:22Not your spouse.
15:24Not your community.
15:25Not your mom.
15:26Your dad.
15:27Your job.
15:27No.
15:28Turn to the person right next to you.
15:31And I'm going to give you 60 seconds.
15:33When was the last time you asked yourself,
15:36what do I want?
15:37Everyone.
15:49I don't want you to take it.
16:03I'm going to give you a great time.
16:06He's not going to give you 60 seconds.
16:12Let's come back to the goal, if you hear me clap 1, if you hear me clap 1, if you
16:23hear
16:23me clap 3 times, thank you, okay let's come back, you can see and feel it, when was the
16:34last time you asked yourself what I want, and I can see that you're like, oh, I want to
16:40stay, and today I'm going to do something very special with you, today we're going to
16:49take a trip, today we're going to take a personal honeymoon, and I love this word because it
16:56feels delicious, because it's a honeymoon with ourselves, and just in the same way when
17:04you go on a honeymoon with your loved one, and you wake up and you're like, hi, my love,
17:09my beautiful, oh my god, how hot, so I love, I want the best for you, let me give you
17:15the
17:15badge, this is what we're going to do for us today, and you're going to get a special
17:20passport and everything, so our volunteers are going to give you a passport for you to
17:25go to your personal honeymoon, please keep that in hand, let's not open up today, and what
17:32it has in your passport are five practices that I learned the hard way, falling, falling,
17:43and getting back up, and the easy way, because I don't know about you, but at my 48 years of
17:49age, I want life to be simple and delicious at every single moment of my life, and after
18:03I came back from Kuala Lumpur, and I'm like, oh my god, I want to build my wings, I started
18:11to look up for the magic out in the world, and I'm like, I want to write a book, I
18:18want
18:18to write a book, I want to share this, after working with so many people for more than 13
18:23years, I'm like, let's share this, so I created that race method, and this is where we're going
18:31to go, you can open your passport right now, and in there, you're just going to find some
18:40questions, and I'm going to walk you through the questions, okay, the first part of wings
18:47is witness, who here, and I want to, I want to see some hands, who here is an incredible
18:57friend, and then you have somebody in your life that I believe in you, you are amazing,
19:04you know what, every ring that you have, you can do it, who here is like a cheerleader person,
19:09raise your hand, amazing, who here is a little bit nasty with yourself, oh my god, you should
19:27be a better mother, you're just with your daughter 23 hours a day, you should be 24, bad
19:38mom. Have you, do you identify yourself that you're so nice to everybody and then so nasty
19:46with yourself? Yeah. Why? Why do we do that? So weakness is not about fixing anything. Weakness
20:01is about saying, first and foremost, I am a human, so I'm allowed and required not to be perfect
20:12at how horrible. The second thing that weakness says is, I am going to love myself with the
20:23same ferocity that I love everybody else. So I'm going to take you a very short exercise, and we're
20:34going to take a deeper thing, and release. And I want you to close your eyes for a moment.
20:51Continue breathing. Close your eyes. And in front of you, you're going to see a person that you love.
21:03Be a child. Be your best friend. Be partner. Somebody that you love, that when you see that person,
21:11your heart, sings. They're so gorgeous, and they're just smiling at you. They're telling you their dreams.
21:22And you're like, dude, you can do anything. Of course, I believe in you. You feel their excitement.
21:29You want them to win. You want them to know that they matter, that they're so important. And just see
21:37and feel all of this beautiful energy inside of you. Feel it. Let it expand to every single cell in
21:47your body. And breathe that in.
21:54And now we want you to see, instead of this person's face, slowly starting to shift. And what you're going
22:06to see instead is a mirror. It is your beautiful face. And now it is you.
22:20Sharing your dream. And now it is you. Sharing your heart. And I want you to tell yourself, of course
22:38I believe in you. I love you. You got this.
22:48You got this. You got this. Of course you're going to make it. And slowly just breathe that in. Make
23:01that thing grow. Fill it in your body. And bring it to the now. Breathe that in. Open your eyes.
23:12How was it?
23:16How was that?
23:17JAMES
23:18Who here had felt a little bit uncomfortable receiving? Notice that. Witness is taking the judge away. Just say OK.
23:34I'm going to see myself. Who I am.
23:38because we cannot fix or change
23:42or shift what we are busy changing.
23:47So we're not putting stuff under the rug.
23:52Let it shine.
23:53The good, the bad, the ugly, the whatever.
23:56And embrace all of the parts of you as a human.
24:01Feel?
24:03In your passport,
24:05you will see the first question
24:07and this is just for you to take home
24:12and I'm going to send you in an adventure
24:15for lunch, so just notice
24:16and the question is,
24:18where are you right now?
24:20Not for you to answer right away.
24:22This is for you to be sharing in the treasure room
24:25that you're going with your passport later.
24:27Where are you right now?
24:30I'm you.
24:34The second part of the Wings Method is inner work.
24:39And this is about knowing
24:42that we are multidimensional beings
24:44with a million, million parts of us.
24:48and I call them my inner family.
24:51I am a very, very visual person,
24:53so I have names,
24:55they have personalities,
24:57like it's a fun ride to live in my head.
25:00I wish I had a projector because,
25:02well, it might get scary for people,
25:04but whatever, I have a lot of fun.
25:07And this is about really embracing
25:10all of the parts of it.
25:12And I'm going to tell you a story.
25:15When I was in the middle of my divorce
25:17and my daughter was in her teenage years,
25:20imagine all of the myths of
25:22stop going in my life,
25:24she decided she was going to go
25:26and live with her dad for a little bit.
25:29And that was literally like
25:30somebody grabbed a knife,
25:33put it in my heart,
25:35opened it,
25:36and just ripped it apart.
25:39Because I was the superwoman mama
25:41for a long time.
25:43So after drinking myself out
25:46for 10 days,
25:48I decided that I had to do something
25:50or I was going to become an alcoholic.
25:53So I opened my phone
25:54and I popped a Vipass on a retreat
25:58without reading
25:59that it was a silent thing.
26:01I just said,
26:02I see people.
26:05going to that Vipass on a retreat
26:07and then they come out peaceful.
26:09I want some of that.
26:11So I go there
26:13into this beautiful mountain.
26:14They ask for my phone.
26:16It is like going to jail.
26:19Give me your phone.
26:20Then they pass you in.
26:22Give me your books.
26:24Give me Anna.
26:25Here you go.
26:25But I was my body coach.
26:28I am a personal coach
26:29for so long.
26:30I'm going to nail this poor
26:32all of you
26:32that you have just started
26:33in this Vipass.
26:34And I think
26:35I will teach you.
26:36I will be your guy.
26:38That's how I enter.
26:41It was not only
26:43not speaking,
26:44but it was
26:44no eye contact,
26:46no journaling.
26:48Everything was going inside.
26:49And the only person
26:50that you could talk to
26:51was this guru
26:52dressed in white
26:54that I just closed my eyes
26:56and I saw blood.
26:57But that is a different story.
27:01Day one,
27:02I was good.
27:03Day two,
27:04I was kind of uncomfortable.
27:06Day three,
27:07I was ready
27:09to lose it.
27:10I started to shake
27:11like a drug addict
27:12leaving a drug.
27:13I left my drug.
27:15I couldn't speak.
27:16This was my drug.
27:16I needed to communicate.
27:18So I go to the guru
27:20and I said to her,
27:23I need to talk
27:24to somebody.
27:26And she looks at me
27:28and she goes like this.
27:30And my internal world
27:32goes like this.
27:34So she asked me
27:35to please step out
27:36in a very nice
27:37and spiritual way.
27:39So I run.
27:40I look for all
27:41of the escape routes
27:42from the farm.
27:43They were not any.
27:45And I looked.
27:48So by day three,
27:50I already put
27:50all of the rocks
27:51in the river
27:51in the same way
27:52in order
27:53and I had nothing
27:54more to do.
27:57There was nobody
27:58watching
27:59so I just grabbed
27:59this big rock.
28:03What the fuck
28:04is going to be here?
28:06And the rock
28:07answered,
28:09this is a choice.
28:10The thing is,
28:12I had a very nice
28:15therapy session
28:15with the rock,
28:16very good rock.
28:19And then the rock
28:21says,
28:21sit on me.
28:24Okay?
28:26So I sit on the rock
28:28and I'm like,
28:29finally,
28:30my brain is going
28:31to be quiet.
28:32Maybe this big
28:33past and I think
28:34works.
28:39And then my
28:40inner Netflix
28:41goes live.
28:44All the channels,
28:45different channels
28:46and full volume,
28:48full colors.
28:48And I'm like,
28:49what in the world?
28:51And that's when I realized
28:53that my inner family,
28:55all of the different
28:56emotions,
28:57all of the different
28:57part of me,
28:58they have been
28:59patiently waiting
29:01at the door,
29:02knocking,
29:02hello.
29:04And I,
29:04I had everything
29:06together.
29:07I was always perfect
29:08so I was like,
29:09I'll see you later,
29:10anger.
29:11Not now,
29:12because I have
29:13to be happy.
29:15Regret,
29:16no, no,
29:16get out.
29:18All that can go
29:18to my room
29:19is happiness
29:20and excitement.
29:22And all of the
29:23other parts of me,
29:25anger,
29:25resentment,
29:26all of the things
29:27that were part of me
29:27as well,
29:28I left them
29:29out the door.
29:30So in that moment,
29:31having nowhere to run,
29:32I said,
29:33okay,
29:34come in.
29:35One by one.
29:38One by one.
29:39My inner child
29:40came in
29:41and she's like,
29:42what happened
29:43to you,
29:43dude?
29:45You used to
29:46have been
29:46so creative.
29:49Jesus.
29:50And then when people
29:50started to tell us
29:51that we're too much,
29:53you lost your voice?
29:54No.
29:55I want to go out
29:56and play.
29:58And then my inner critic
30:00is like,
30:01oh, thank goodness
30:02you let me here.
30:03What is that thing
30:04that you want to do
30:05right now
30:05that you are
30:06speaking and putting
30:07yourself out there
30:08like, oh, my God,
30:09why is this too hot?
30:11And I'm like,
30:12well,
30:13I'm sorry.
30:14It's all good.
30:17And one by one,
30:19all of the parts
30:20of me that I've been
30:21just saying,
30:22not that.
30:23I said,
30:24come on in.
30:26And then my
30:27internal living room
30:28was filled
30:29with all of the parts
30:31of me.
30:32And they had a party
30:34and they were having fun
30:35and we were all dancing.
30:37And in that moment,
30:38I realized,
30:40wow,
30:41we just need
30:42to let them speak
30:44in the same way
30:46that I was feeling
30:47choked,
30:48and I don't recommend
30:50it to any human
30:51that likes
30:51to actually communicate.
30:53Don't go there.
30:56In the same way
30:57that I was kind of
30:58dying inside
30:59from not being able
31:00to speak,
31:00my inner parts
31:01were the same thing.
31:03Allow them to talk.
31:04That is the real
31:05inner work.
31:06It's not to be perfect.
31:08It's to know
31:09that you have
31:10different parts
31:11and everybody's welcome.
31:12Okay?
31:14And there is a question
31:15in there.
31:16The inner part of you
31:18that needs to be heard
31:19right now is
31:22just think about
31:23that for one minute.
31:26What is that inner part
31:27that has been
31:28knocking the door
31:29and you're just saying,
31:31not that?
31:33You're going to give it time.
31:38nurture it.
31:40nurture it.
31:42This is a tough one
31:43for all people-pleasers.
31:45Who here is a people-pleaser?
31:48Okay?
31:50Who here is a people-pleaser
31:52but is not saying,
31:53be real?
31:57one of the things
31:59that came for me
32:01very easy
32:01as a people-pleaser
32:03is giving.
32:05If I walk into a room
32:08and somebody started
32:09to talk about
32:10a personal problem,
32:11I was like,
32:13me help you.
32:16It was an internal thing
32:18of me.
32:19Who here is
32:20coach,
32:21therapist,
32:22we're kind of
32:23all in the same thing.
32:24Who here
32:25when you see somebody
32:26that is like
32:27needing help
32:28and you're like,
32:30project?
32:33Yeah.
32:35You're like that.
32:36We are so incredible
32:37with everybody
32:38and yet sometimes
32:39we fail
32:40to nurture
32:41ourselves.
32:43We do.
32:45And this is like,
32:47you are
32:48a kick-ass Ferrari.
32:50I am not that much
32:51into cars
32:51but I know
32:52that Ferraris
32:53are awesome cars
32:54and they're super fast
32:55and they have
32:56the best features,
32:59right?
33:00Or a Porsche,
33:01whatever that car is.
33:02I am not a car.
33:03A red thing.
33:08But you are
33:09just like that
33:09red car.
33:11You are
33:12this incredible
33:13machine
33:14with all
33:15of the possibilities,
33:16everything is
33:17available for you
33:18and then
33:19you just go,
33:21you get in the car,
33:22you put
33:22the accelerator,
33:24you go,
33:25it takes you
33:26everywhere,
33:26you feel like
33:28the king
33:29or queen
33:30of the world.
33:32And
33:33the car starts
33:34to say,
33:34hey,
33:36oil change,
33:38bleep,
33:38bleep,
33:39and you're like,
33:40I'll change
33:41the oil
33:41in a moment,
33:42I am the one
33:43in charge
33:44of this machine
33:44over here.
33:46Shh.
33:48And the car
33:49goes.
33:49And then
33:50the machine
33:51starts to say,
33:52oil change
33:53and I need
33:54gas.
33:55And we continue
33:57to ignore this.
33:59Right?
34:01Have you ever
34:02ignored your
34:02inner
34:03signals
34:04of stopping
34:05and then
34:05nurturing
34:05yourselves?
34:07Have you?
34:09we all
34:10have.
34:11We all
34:11have.
34:13Me too.
34:15But nurturing
34:16is so
34:18important
34:18for us
34:19because if we
34:19don't feel
34:20our time,
34:21how are we
34:21going to give
34:22to everybody
34:22else?
34:24How?
34:24From where?
34:26So take a
34:27moment to that.
34:28And the
34:29other thing
34:30is in order
34:32to receive
34:33all of this
34:34good shoo-joo
34:34for us,
34:35in order to
34:36feel our
34:37time,
34:38we also
34:39have to be
34:40able to
34:41make food
34:42for ourselves.
34:45Has anybody
34:46seen the
34:47show
34:48Hoarders?
34:49I don't
34:49remember the
34:50channel.
34:50Where,
34:51yeah,
34:51deep cleaners
34:52going to these
34:53houses that
34:54they're just
34:55clothed with
34:55stuff.
34:57And
34:57people cannot
34:58walk into
34:59their own
35:00homes and
35:00they go to
35:01the kitchen
35:01and there
35:02are rats
35:02and cockroaches
35:03and no
35:04more space
35:04for anything.
35:07Imagine that
35:08you want to
35:08incorporate
35:09amazing things
35:10in your life.
35:12You want to
35:12buy a new
35:13furniture,
35:14a new sofa,
35:15and you just
35:15want to bring
35:16it into your
35:16house,
35:17but then your
35:18house looks
35:18like the
35:19border ones.
35:20And you
35:21can bring
35:21the best
35:22furniture in
35:23and you
35:23can try
35:24to stuff
35:24it,
35:25but there's
35:26no room.
35:28So part
35:29of nurturing
35:30yourself also
35:32involves
35:34make a room.
35:36What are
35:37the things
35:38that you
35:38are going
35:38to release
35:39to let
35:40go in
35:42order to
35:43make room
35:43for the
35:44things that
35:44you really
35:45want to
35:46incorporate
35:46in your
35:47life?
35:48And maybe
35:49it's
35:50forgiving
35:50somebody,
35:52maybe it's
35:52forgiving
35:53yourself,
35:55releasing
35:55some of
35:56the
35:56things
35:57that
35:57are
35:57draining
35:58you.
36:00And here,
36:01to nurture
36:01our inner
36:03leader,
36:05we are just
36:06going to
36:06think about
36:07what are
36:08the things
36:08that drain
36:10me?
36:11What are
36:12the things
36:13that nurture
36:14me?
36:16And then
36:17make a choice.
36:18All of the
36:19things that are
36:19draining me,
36:21I am
36:22going to
36:22slowly
36:23invite them
36:24out of
36:25me.
36:26So then
36:28I will
36:29have room.
36:30So this
36:30is like
36:32grabbing the
36:33energetic
36:33vacuum in
36:34your holy
36:34home and
36:35making room.
36:37And this
36:38is something
36:39that you're
36:40going to
36:40think about
36:41as well.
36:43What is
36:43that one
36:44thing that
36:44you're going
36:45to create
36:45time for
36:46this week?
36:48What is
36:49that?
36:52And then
36:52we're going
36:53to gratitude
36:53you guys.
36:55And I'm
36:55going to get
36:56a little bit
36:56woo-woo,
36:57which is
36:57great because
36:58we're in
36:58Mindvalley,
36:59so it's
37:00fine and
37:00you've heard
37:00this maybe
37:01a million
37:01times before.
37:02And I'm
37:03going to
37:03tell you a
37:03story.
37:04And gratitude
37:05is one of
37:07the easiest
37:08ways to
37:09align your
37:10energy to
37:10what you
37:11want to
37:11create.
37:12We are
37:12like radios.
37:14For the
37:15young people
37:16before when
37:17your mama
37:17and I
37:18were kids,
37:19we had
37:20radios that
37:20we have
37:20to do
37:21the norm.
37:22Now it's
37:23Spotify.
37:23It's very
37:24hard to
37:25explain this
37:25right now.
37:27But this
37:29is when
37:29you're attuning
37:30your energy
37:31to that
37:32frequency.
37:33You cannot
37:34attune
37:34yourself to
37:35receive the
37:36best things
37:37in life and
37:37manifest them
37:38if your
37:38frequency is
37:39done.
37:40So gratitude
37:40is an
37:41immediate
37:42frequency
37:43booster.
37:44It's like a
37:45super vitamin
37:45thingy for
37:46your manifesting.
37:49And the
37:49other thing
37:50that gratitude
37:50does is
37:51like it
37:52activates your
37:53reticular
37:54activation
37:54system which
37:56is in
37:57legends.
37:58It's like
37:58putting on
37:59your unicorn
38:00glasses and
38:00learning to
38:01see the
38:01world from
38:02a magical
38:02place.
38:04It allows
38:05you to spot
38:06all of the
38:06things that
38:07are already
38:07amazing in
38:08your life.
38:09And that
38:10will show
38:11you more
38:11amazing
38:12things.
38:14And I
38:16went to
38:16Bali with
38:16my friend
38:17Erika.
38:18I have
38:19heard so
38:19many things
38:20about Bali
38:20and of
38:21course I
38:22saw it
38:22pray and
38:23love so I
38:23had to go
38:24to Bali and
38:25see what
38:25that was.
38:27And we
38:28stayed in
38:29this beautiful
38:30hotel and
38:31there was
38:31this old
38:32lady that
38:33owned the
38:33hotel.
38:35Very nice.
38:37She every
38:38morning she
38:39woke up and
38:40she would
38:40walk with
38:42her little
38:43baskets of
38:44fruits and
38:46flowers and
38:47she would
38:47put these
38:48little baskets
38:49everywhere.
38:50So I
38:51followed her.
38:52I was very
38:53curious and
38:53I asked,
38:55these baskets
38:56are so
38:57pretty.
38:58Why do
38:58you put
38:59them every
39:00single day?
39:02And he
39:02told me a
39:03tradition that
39:04they use in
39:04Bali and
39:05these baskets
39:06are called
39:07Taman Sari
39:08and they
39:09are all
39:09fake.
39:10And
39:11everybody
39:12needs
39:12person.
39:13Every
39:13single day
39:14if you
39:14get on a
39:15taxi,
39:15if you
39:15go to
39:16a
39:16cafe,
39:16you
39:16will
39:17see
39:17these
39:17baskets.
39:18Everybody
39:19needs
39:19person.
39:20Every single
39:21day creates
39:22a basket to
39:23say thank you.
39:25Thank you for
39:26the food.
39:27Thank you because
39:28I'm alive.
39:29Thank you because
39:30I can breathe.
39:31Thank you for
39:31my love.
39:32Every single
39:33day they have
39:35gratitude at
39:36their baseline.
39:39and when
39:40you go to
39:41Bali or
39:41for the
39:42people that
39:42go to
39:43Bali,
39:43they are the
39:43happiest
39:44people in
39:45the world.
39:47So gratitude.
39:49What are the
39:49things that you're
39:50incorporating in
39:51your everyday
39:52life that make
39:54your heart
39:55sing?
39:58And with
39:59this, you
40:00guys, I want
40:00to invite you to
40:01also find what
40:03are those things
40:04that even
40:04though they
40:05make no
40:06sense on the
40:06outside world,
40:08what make
40:08your heart
40:09sing?
40:09Your heart
40:11sing.
40:12Find it.
40:13And look
40:14for it.
40:16Sonia
40:16was asking
40:17us the
40:18other day
40:18as she was
40:19teaching one
40:20of the best
40:22techniques to
40:22connect with
40:23your intuition.
40:24And the
40:25first thing that
40:25she says is
40:26look out for
40:27something beautiful.
40:29Notice.
40:31Notice the
40:32person around
40:33you.
40:34notice that
40:35you're here
40:36in Tallinn
40:37in an
40:39incredible
40:39event.
40:42Notice how
40:43your inner
40:44voices are
40:45shifting.
40:47Notice
40:48every day.
40:51And the
40:51question is
40:52one specific
40:54thing I am
40:55grateful for
40:56right now
40:57is, and
40:58we're going
40:59to do
40:59popcorn
41:00sharing.
41:02Five people
41:03just shout it
41:04out.
41:05Okay?
41:06What are you
41:06grateful for
41:07right now?
41:08For being
41:08here.
41:09For being
41:10here.
41:11Beautiful
41:11apartment.
41:12For your
41:15beautiful
41:16apartment.
41:17For your
41:18story.
41:19For a
41:19story.
41:20Oh, my
41:21story.
41:22I'm grateful
41:23that you're
41:23grateful.
41:28Perfect
41:28feathers.
41:29The
41:29feathers.
41:31Your
41:32health.
41:33Beautiful.
41:34Your
41:34skills of
41:35presentation.
41:38And by the
41:39way, in my
41:40presentations, you
41:41will learn a couple
41:41of words in
41:42Spanish that you
41:43will repeat.
41:45I am
41:45NLP-ing you
41:46in Spanish.
41:50Just notice
41:51that.
41:52Notice that
41:53when you're
41:53focusing on what
41:54you're grateful
41:55for, your
41:56energy shifts.
42:01And the
42:02final one is
42:03sore, you
42:04guys.
42:05And I
42:07just turned
42:0748 years
42:08old about
42:08two weeks
42:09ago.
42:10Woo!
42:11Woo!
42:12Woo!
42:14Woo!
42:14Woo!
42:14Woo!
42:16And I
42:17also
42:18entered
42:19perimenopause.
42:21And let me
42:22tell you,
42:24perimenopause
42:25is like
42:25rubbing your
42:26entire,
42:27and I
42:27imagine
42:28menopause
42:28as well,
42:30perimenopause
42:30is like
42:31rubbing your
42:31entire
42:32biological
42:32system,
42:33everything
42:34that you
42:34know,
42:35and then
42:36just going
42:36like this.
42:40And one
42:41day you
42:42wake up
42:42and you
42:42are like,
42:43wow!
42:46And one
42:47of the
42:47gifts that
42:47perimenopause
42:48gave me
42:49very big
42:51is that
42:52I no
42:53longer,
42:54no longer
42:56can fit
42:56into the
42:57costume
42:57of the
42:58superwoman
43:00because
43:00sometimes
43:01I try
43:01to step
43:02into that
43:03and multitask
43:04and people
43:05please
43:05and smile
43:07even though
43:08I really
43:08didn't
43:09want to
43:09smile.
43:11But
43:11perimenopause,
43:12I
43:13would
43:13not
43:14fit
43:15into
43:15that.
43:17My
43:18entire
43:18biology
43:19changed
43:19and I
43:20think
43:20that
43:20that
43:21is
43:21a
43:21blessing
43:21in
43:21disguise.
43:23And in
43:24this
43:24stage
43:25in my
43:25life
43:25and in
43:27this
43:27stage
43:27in your
43:28life,
43:29knowing that
43:30life is
43:31way too
43:32short
43:33and too
43:34beautiful,
43:35sore
43:36knees,
43:38what
43:39resonates
43:39with me,
43:41what
43:42feels
43:42delicious
43:43to me,
43:46what
43:46are my
43:47feathers
43:47and how
43:48am I
43:48going to
43:49arrange
43:49my
43:50feathers?
43:51And I
43:51want you
43:52to take
43:52a look
43:52at your
43:53feathers
43:53and just
43:54say,
43:55how am
43:56I going
43:56to collect
43:57and arrange
43:58my
43:59own?
44:03Am I
44:04giving
44:04time to
44:05really
44:06find
44:06what
44:07feels
44:07delicious
44:08for me,
44:11even if
44:12it makes
44:12no sense?
44:14I started
44:15to dance
44:15ballet
44:15as an
44:18adult
44:18and I
44:19took it
44:20and ballet,
44:21it was
44:22something that
44:23I had
44:23zero
44:24grace,
44:24as you
44:24can see
44:25I don't
44:25have a
44:25ballet
44:26body,
44:27and my
44:27first class
44:28of ballet
44:28when I
44:29did my
44:29first
44:30BA,
44:31my
44:31teacher
44:32said to
44:32me
44:33very
44:33politely,
44:34if I
44:35can teach
44:35you
44:36ballet,
44:37I can
44:38teach
44:38anyone.
44:42And I
44:43did it.
44:44And now
44:45it's a
44:45practice
44:45that I
44:46do every
44:46single
44:46day
44:48because
44:48it makes
44:49me happy,
44:50me happy.
44:53I have
44:54been wanting
44:55to learn
44:55Italian
44:56for
44:56years.
44:58for
44:59years.
44:59But
45:00then I
45:00kept
45:00thinking,
45:01what do
45:02I do
45:02with
45:02Italian
45:02life?
45:04I am
45:04going to
45:04invest
45:05all of
45:05this
45:05time and
45:06money,
45:06what do
45:07I do
45:07with that
45:07thing?
45:08they're
45:08like,
45:08no.
45:09But
45:10that is
45:10something
45:10that my
45:11heart
45:11really wanted.
45:12So,
45:13two years
45:13ago,
45:14I said
45:14yes to
45:14myself and
45:15I went
45:15to Florence
45:16for one
45:17month.
45:18And I
45:18gave
45:18myself a
45:19personal
45:19honeymoon.
45:22And I
45:23spent
45:23time with
45:24me.
45:26and I
45:27learned
45:27Italian.
45:32And it
45:36was not
45:37about what
45:38I'm doing,
45:39it's about
45:39the way
45:40that I
45:40felt and
45:40every single
45:41day I
45:42woke up
45:42and I
45:43was like
45:43looking at
45:43me in
45:44the mirror
45:44and I
45:45shouted,
45:46what do
45:47you want
45:48to do
45:48today?
45:50And my
45:51heart felt
45:51so
45:51expanded.
45:55And I
45:56asked from
45:56that
45:57frequency
45:57everything,
45:58oh,
45:58and now I
45:59have an
45:59Italian
45:59boyfriend,
46:00so I
46:00was the
46:00universe
46:01saying,
46:03I don't
46:03know.
46:04So,
46:05sore
46:05means
46:06connecting
46:07your
46:07heart.
46:08Don't
46:09wait to
46:10have the
46:10entire
46:10map
46:11out
46:12before
46:13you
46:13connect
46:13the
46:13dots.
46:15Trust
46:15that the
46:16universe
46:16is going
46:17to send
46:17you
46:18feathers,
46:18it's
46:18going
46:18to
46:18send
46:19here,
46:21come,
46:21come.
46:22Every
46:23time your
46:23heart is
46:24saying,
46:24I want
46:25to play
46:25with that,
46:26there is
46:27a reason,
46:28follow it,
46:29follow it,
46:30that is a
46:30feather saying,
46:31I am here,
46:32I'm a super
46:32cool feather,
46:33for your
46:34wings,
46:34come,
46:34come,
46:35go play
46:36with the
46:36universe.
46:38And when
46:39you start
46:39to say yes
46:40to the
46:41universe,
46:41to every
46:42single
46:43surprise
46:43that is
46:44coming in
46:44the way,
46:46everything
46:47feels
46:47delicious.
46:48The way
46:49you show
46:49up feels
46:50delicious.
46:50The people
46:51that you
46:52meet are
46:52the perfect
46:53people.
46:55Trust
46:55them.
46:57Trust
46:57them.
47:03So,
47:05you don't
47:06need to
47:08become
47:08somebody
47:09new.
47:11You don't.
47:12You need
47:13to stop
47:13abandoning
47:14who you
47:14really
47:15are.
47:16You need
47:17to stop
47:18trying to
47:18fit into
47:19somebody
47:19else's
47:20clothes.
47:23You don't
47:24fit into
47:24somebody else's
47:25clothes.
47:25You're you,
47:26unique.
47:28Stop comparing
47:29to what
47:29everybody else
47:30is doing.
47:31Learn.
47:33Good.
47:34Learn.
47:34But there
47:35is only
47:35one you.
47:37There is
47:37only one
47:38you,
47:38with one
47:39story,
47:40with one
47:40life,
47:41with one
47:42magic
47:42juju and
47:43stardust
47:44that only
47:44you bring.
47:46And that
47:47is irreplaceable.
47:50So,
47:51focus on
47:52that.
47:54What is the
47:55medicine that
47:55you bring
47:56to the
47:56world?
47:59give it
48:00name.
48:07And I
48:07would love
48:09for you to
48:09share,
48:10again,
48:11in popcorn
48:12words,
48:13what is that
48:14gift that
48:14you have to
48:15share with
48:15the world
48:16that you're
48:17ready?
48:19Who wants
48:20to share?
48:20You can
48:20raise your
48:21hand.
48:22Yeah!
48:22Why is
48:23sunset in
48:24nature's
48:24apocalypse?
48:24Sunset in
48:26nature's
48:26photography.
48:27I love
48:28that.
48:28Yes.
48:29We're not
48:30alone.
48:31We're not
48:31alone.
48:32Yes.
48:34We need
48:34compassion
48:34in the
48:35place.
48:36We need
48:36compassion?
48:37In
48:37the
48:37place.
48:38Compassion
48:39in
48:39words.
48:40Yes.
48:41In the
48:42workplace.
48:44Yes.
48:45Please.
48:47Share
48:48what happens
48:49in the
48:49world.
48:49And
48:50of
48:50course,
48:51you
48:52have
48:52to
48:52sign
48:52it.
48:53So,
48:54you
48:56want to
48:57share
48:57what
48:57happens
48:58in
48:58menopause
48:59to
48:59other
48:59people.
49:00Yes.
49:04Bring
49:04people
49:05into
49:05coherence.
49:07Wow.
49:08And
49:08places
49:09into
49:09coherence.
49:10I love
49:10that.
49:12Yes.
49:18Creativity
49:19and inner
49:19child.
49:20I love
49:20that.
49:22raising
49:23children
49:23that don't
49:23have to
49:24repair
49:24from
49:25their
49:25earliest
49:25experiences.
49:27Raising
49:27children
49:28that don't
49:28have to
49:29repair
49:29from
49:29their
49:30earliest
49:30experiences.
49:31Beautiful.
49:32Yes.
49:33I want to
49:33share my
49:34health
49:34journey
49:34and
49:35everything
49:36I've
49:36learned
49:36so that I
49:37can help
49:37other
49:37women
49:38particularly
49:39going through
49:40the
49:40permanent
49:40pause
49:41and
49:41then
49:41pause
49:41so that
49:42they don't
49:42have to
49:43struggle
49:43with all
49:44of those
49:44things.
49:45I've got
49:45so much
49:46that I've
49:46learned
49:46over the
49:47last couple
49:47of years.
