00:07It's really important to have a balance I think, like I love living in a city but
00:11having grass underfoot, having oxygen to breathe, being surrounded by trees, just
00:15being in the open country air is invaluable for our mental health. My
00:21house is a labour of love. We bought it five years ago and we bought it off a
00:26man who had not done anything to it since the 70s. We lived in it, we broke it down
00:31and built it from nothing and it was hard work but as a consequence I now have
00:37this beautiful home that I love pottering around in. Every room is my favourite
00:41because every room means something different. I love spending time in my
00:44kitchen, we do a lot in the kitchen. Lots of friends come over, we entertain a lot.
00:48All my friends say the same thing, it feels really homely and it's the biggest
00:52compliment because I think it's people that make a home and both me and my
00:56husband like entertaining. There's always music on. If you've come around on a
01:00Saturday maybe we'll have a barbecue, we'll have marinated loads of stuff, a lot
01:05of tandoori chicken, maybe some corn on the cob, lots of salad that I'll have made
01:09and so much booze. You will not, I mean okay if you're teetotall you don't have to
01:15drink but yeah always something bubbly in the fridge. There is nothing that prepares
01:20you and nothing in the world like Strictly. I instantly said yes when they
01:24asked me to do it because of course it's amazing and I thought what an
01:27opportunity to learn how to dance. How is it similar to Countryfile? Well let's
01:31just say I try to bring a bit of glamour to Countryfile.
