04:41I've been in acting classes where it's like, don't do anything unless your scene partner

04:49And I sometimes think when you're doing film or TV, that's not always the most helpful.
04:55Sometimes your scene partner's a little sleepy, and they don't want to give you that much,
04:59and that's okay, and you still have to kind of like watch your own back.

05:21And then I had a close friend who was casting a short film at Brown, and I auditioned for it,
05:29and we did it.
05:29And it was like the first time that I had done a job where it didn't seem like, even if
05:34I was doing a 14, 16-hour day, that I was working.
05:37So I was like, that's a pretty good sign.
05:39What comes first, modeling or acting?

05:43She's like, I'm taking a break from acting, and I'm doing music.
05:45And she's like, I am stepping away from acting unless I get an email with like a self-tape
05:50request or a script or anyone wants to offer me a job, then I'm acting again.
05:54And I was like, that's me.
05:55So when there's no acting jobs coming my way, modeling first.
05:59But as soon as an acting job or a self-tape request or a meeting comes in, then acting first.
