00:00Hello and welcome. Good evening. You're watching Super 6 here on India Today.
00:03I'm Akshita Anandakopal and this evening we'll get you all of the highlights that have come in
00:08from Amit Shah's meeting with the Chief Ministers of the Southern states.
00:12That's our top focus this evening. We'll break down for you what each state has put forth in that meeting
00:17with Home Minister Amit Shah.
00:18But there's also a controversy that's playing out over delimitation.
00:22While most of the states mention the issue of delimitation, there's a question over Tamil Nadu's stand on the same.
00:28Has the TVK government changed their stand from earlier on the issue of delimitation?
00:33I'll break down why all of these questions are coming up on this edition of Super 6.
00:37But also on the show at 6.30 this evening, even as we've been seeing these Gen Z protests,
00:43students on the streets, exam aspirants coming out and hitting the streets across the country,
00:48there's a similar movement in Andhra that's led to, in fact, a political fight.
00:52The YSRCP is calling this the Gen Z protest movement in Andhra.
00:56What's this about? Alleged DSE exam irregularities that we will talk about and get your details of.
01:02That's coming up at 6.30 this evening. Let's get started with the headlines.
01:10Home Minister Amit Shah's big Vande Mataram strike on Congress attacks.
01:15Congress's split in 1937 says Congress's sword partition seat claims Muslim appeasement under Rahul.
01:23Congress hits back, says national song, emotional for us, it's a political tool for BJP.
01:52Home Minister Amit Shah, South Chief Ministers meet in Tamil Nadu.
01:57Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay saw food stand on delimitation during meets,
02:01as percentage of Tamil Nadu seats shouldn't fall.
02:04Allies in water war, Vijay and DKS seated together.
02:11Rahul Gandhi's big attack on Prime Minister Modi, says Prime Minister Modi's politically finished BJP,
02:16called CWC Congress whitewash committee.
02:19Says CWC lacked nerve to discuss how Sonia insulted Vande Mataram.
02:28Marathi test begins for drivers of commercial vehicles in Maharashtra.
02:32RTO steps up checks on auto drivers, action to be taken against drivers if they fail to pass Marathi test.
02:42Another big move by the Maharashtra FDA, sale of open edible oil banned across the state.
02:49Misbranded unregistered oil companies are under Mundi's lens now.
03:08And this evening, let's begin with all of the updates that have come in through the day
03:12on Home Minister Amit Shah's meeting with the Southern Chief Ministers.
03:16You had DKS Shiv Kumar, Chief Minister Vijay, Chief Minister VD Satishan and Chief Minister Chandra Prabhunaidu in attendance.
03:24Telangana's Deputy Chief Minister was present as Revant Reddy was away overseas.
03:28All states expressed a common interest in ensuring that the South gets fair representation.
03:35The states also backed cooperation with the Centre with a collective message
03:38that a stronger South means a stronger India.
03:42The states stressed that cooperation with the Centre is essential while firmly protecting their respective state interests.
03:49So all of them spoke on one voice on one issue.
03:52That is that the South must be made stronger in every way possible
03:56and largely on that with regards to cooperation with the central government.
04:00But let's take it state by state.
04:02Each Chief Minister who has given a chance to speak put forth their demands issues before Home Minister Amit Shah.
04:09We begin with Tamil Nadu.
04:10The takeaway is state by state.
04:12Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay raised a host of key issues concerning the state and wider interests of the South.
04:18He brought up NEET.
04:19Tamil Nadu has sought an exemption with medical admissions under the state quota to be based on Class 12 marks.
04:26This is at least the appeal that's been made.
04:28On delimitation, Vijay called for an assurance that Tamil Nadu's parliamentary representation would not fall.
04:33And we'll talk about that in a bit.
04:35On interstate water disputes, Tamil Nadu sought implementation of the Supreme Court verdict
04:39and Kaveri Water Management Authority decisions while stressing the protection of lower riparian states' rights.
04:47Vijay also called for judicial directions to be followed on Mulla Periyar water levels.
04:51And all this in the presence of both Karnataka and Kerala.
04:54Beyond these issues, Tamil Nadu pushed for stronger interstate coordination to tackle the drug menace.
04:59The other highlight, of course, based on this list is the Kaveri dispute.
05:03Chief Minister Vijay, D.K. Shivkumar, they were seated together at several points.
05:08Their bond homie was also on full display.
05:11They were seated together for both for, in fact, the conference and post that for the photo shoot as well.
05:17And you could constantly see them in conversation.
05:19Let's put out those images of Vijay with D.K. Shivkumar.
05:22And in that conversation, did Kaveri, did Mekhi Datu figure, did it come up, is really the question.
05:29Because at this point, remember that there was a conversation that was being had
05:33on whether Chief Minister Vijay will be meeting with D.K. Shivkumar or not.
05:39Because there was an appeal that was made by the TV case saying,
05:42let's try to have a conversation, let's try to have dialogue.
05:45Let's put out those images of Chief Minister Vijay with D.K. Shivkumar.
05:49And the meeting that they've had, essentially, there's been no meeting on the sidelines,
05:53but they have been, in fact, seated together.
05:56They were, in fact, seen chatting quite a bit, putting the focus, really,
05:59on whether there would be any sort of takeaway on the Kaveri dispute.
06:07Pramod Madhav is joining us live with more details on this.
06:11Pramod, give us a sense of really what was on Tamil Nadu's wish list.
06:14There's, of course, a lot of political messaging involved as well in it.
06:21Well, one thing is very certain over here, Akshita,
06:23because this particular meeting today was about a kind of interstate, you know,
06:26going ahead and resolving a lot of issues.
06:29We did, like, you know, earlier itself said that this is going to be a place
06:32where the conversation over the interstate water dispute will be brought in.
06:35But, however, the Chief Minister Vijay has spoken on nine issues
06:38that also includes, you know, making, giving maximum support of multiple states
06:42actually to curb the drug abuse and the drug flow as well.
06:46So, that was the main point. Then it was about the fiscal federalism
06:49and then definitely about the interstate water dispute.
06:53But, however, he also gave a very important point about the delimitation.
06:57Instead of using the word delimitation, he went ahead and said,
06:59fair representation for the states. That's how it is.
07:02And that's the kind of, like, you know, the Chief Minister went ahead
07:04and for his speech itself was close to 19 pages
07:07and all these things were addressed by the Chief Minister today, Akshita.
07:11Okay. We'll take this forward and move to Karnataka also.
07:17And, Pramod, stay with me. Let's just highlight that we've got all of our reporters
07:20to give you a sense of what's really happening state by state.
07:23So, we've got Shibhimul who will give us a sense of what Keralam had to say in this meeting.
07:27Sagai will be focusing on Karnataka.
07:29We'll have Apoorva focusing on Andhra and Abdul Bashir on Telangana.
07:33But focusing on Karnataka now, and I'll take this across to Sagai in just a bit,
07:36D.K. Shivkumar, who was in that particular meeting,
07:39put forth a broad set of demands at the Southern Zonal Council.
07:43On delimitation, he said that the South's success in population control
07:47must not come at the cost of its political representation,
07:49calling for the 1971 census basis to be honoured
07:52and the current Lok Sabha strength to be protected.
07:55He also backed women's reservation within the existing strength of parliament.
07:59On finances, Shivkumar sought fairer devolution for southern states
08:03and more central support for Karnataka.
08:05On the Kaveri, he called for a shift from water sharing to water cooperation
08:09and pitching for the Meike Datu project
08:12as one that would benefit Tamil Nadu and Puducheri as well.
08:14And he said this in the meeting in the presence of Chief Minister Vijay.
08:18Now, water issue is clearly one of the biggest focus points, like I said.
08:23And that's why you had Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar also making a mention of it.
08:27Sagai Raja is live with us with those updates.
08:30So, Sagai, the focus really for Karnataka has been
08:33to kind of get the centre on board as far as the Kaveri water release plan is concerned.
08:38Because remember that they've been facing a lot of heat
08:41who are not following the existing order.
08:54Sagai, I'll request you to switch on your audio.
08:56We're having a bit of a problem there.
08:57We're just going to connect with him.
08:58Give me a moment.
08:59We'll just talk about really what Karnataka's demands are.
09:03Sagai is going to be with us in a minute.
09:04But I want you to focus on the images on your screen.
09:06So, of D.K. Shivkumar and Chief Minister Vijay.
09:09This is from earlier today, where they were seen, of course, having a conversation.
09:13You can see the warmth between the leaders.
09:15They are, mind you, at the end of the day, political allies, the TVK and the Congress.
09:19And the question is, with this kind of meeting happening,
09:22has it kind of broken the ice and set the stage for maybe a follow-up meeting
09:25where the focus will be on Kaveri?
09:27Sagai is back with us.
09:28Sagai, go ahead.
09:34Now, if you notice that Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shokkumar,
09:37who have addressed this particular gathering,
09:39have categorically mentioned multiple issues.
09:41One, pertaining to Karnataka.
09:43And two, about South India, where he has highlighted that
09:4633% of GDP comes from a southern part of the country,
09:51that is South Indian states, despite having the lesser population
09:55compared to the other parts of the country.
09:58And he has also highlighted issues related to Karnataka,
10:02where he said that Karnataka plays a major role
10:05when it comes to the contribution of GDP,
10:07where the highest exports of software is from Karnataka.
10:11And we get the highest investment.
10:13I mean, to say, foreign investment comes to Karnataka.
10:15And also, we are the leading manufacturer of coffee and other things.
10:21And he has highlighted that they should ensure that they take care of Karnataka.
10:25When they take care of Karnataka, gradually, the South India improves.
10:29And when South India improves, it's in India's pride
10:32that the entire contribution from South goes to the entire country.
10:36And you should also take care of the South
10:38when it comes to paying back or in return what you are going to do.
10:43So, the lines that he has mentioned,
10:45that as we care, you need to share with the South Indian states.
10:49And talking about the water, Akshita,
10:51the Karnataka government has categorically mentioned
10:53that make-a-dotto project is not only going to benefit Karnataka,
10:56it is also going to benefit the other states,
10:59the stakeholders, especially Tamil Nadu.
11:01And even after the meeting, he has categorically mentioned
11:03that whatever the water, which is there entitled for Karnataka,
11:07that will be with the state.
11:08And the rest of the water will be released to the other stakeholders,
11:12that is Tamil Nadu, Puducheri and Kerala.
11:14And he said that he needs the permission from the central government.
11:20And he has also appraised the issue of Apar Madhra project,
11:25where the funds were being declared, close to 5,300 quotes,
11:28funds were being declared during the Bammai government.
11:30And now after Sidra Mania, now it is DK Shukumar.
11:33He said that despite mentioning in the budget,
11:36the funds has not been released to the Karnataka.
11:39And he has asked the Home Minister to appraise this issue
11:42and do the favour as soon as possible.
11:46I think the voice of, you know, of DK Shukumar
11:50and the bit where he has spoken about the voice of South
11:52having to be highlighted, having to get stronger,
11:56that's something that you had all the Chief Ministers on board over as well.
11:59Let me move to Kerala now.
12:01A wide range of demands before the centre.
12:03What you would notice is that unfortunately,
12:05among each of these southern states, there is a water dispute.
12:07So, on Mulla Periyar, Kerala offered Tamil Nadu all the water from a new dam
12:12once Tamil Nadu agrees to the proposal.
12:13With Kerala bearing the cost and Tamil Nadu deciding the site,
12:17its design and construction.
12:18So, if it's Mekedato on one hand, it's Mulla Periyar on the other.
12:22Now, remember that this is much like DK Shukumar and Karnataka.
12:27Kerala too is a Congress rule state.
12:29It's a Congress Chief Minister.
12:30And so, the Kerala Chief Minister also, when he spoke,
12:34backed 33% women's reservation,
12:35but also spoke of a freeze on delimitation.
12:38On healthcare, Kerala sought higher central funding
12:41and state-specific premiums under the Ayushman Bharat.
12:44So, a lot of these issues that were essentially brought up,
12:47including blanket night traffic restrictions
12:49on forest highways and several other issues.
12:52Shibhi Molle is live with us for more details.
12:55So, on that, Shibhi,
12:56one more water dispute essentially
12:58that was raised before Home Minister Amit Shah
13:00got a kind of address.
13:02What really was Kerala's point of view?
13:08Well, you know, we discuss a lot about, you know,
13:11often about what's happening between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
13:13But in the past, we have seen very serious discussions
13:16and outrage taking place between Kerala and Tamil Nadu
13:19regarding the Mulla Periyar issue.
13:21With each time, each time Kerala addresses a flood-like situation,
13:24the Mulla Periyar dams come into discussions in Kerala.
13:27And the central part of Kerala still lives under this fear
13:30of anything happening to that dam.
13:32So, the policy of the UDF government is the same
13:35as the LDF government,
13:36whether it's LDF or UDF,
13:38the policy is always the same,
13:40that it's always safety for Kerala
13:41and water for Tamil Nadu.
13:43And the Chief Minister today highlighted that,
13:45you know, we are ready to give full water to Tamil Nadu.
13:48And once the new dam is being constructed,
13:51the design cost will be bared by Kerala,
13:54but the design location can be decided by Tamil Nadu.
13:57Another, of course, issue is about the connectivity.
13:59Now, that's one issue that we have been facing
14:01for a very long time.
14:02Rail connectivity, you know,
14:04the allotment of more trains to Kerala
14:06is also one demand that consistently is raised
14:08in the Parliament also by the Kerala MPs.
14:10So, that was also put forward by the Chief Minister.
14:13Again, night travel restrictions.
14:15That's an issue that's been ongoing
14:16between Kerala and Karnataka,
14:18especially in a district like Vyanat.
14:19We have, you know,
14:20when Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi contested from Vyanat,
14:23they had raised this issue
14:24during each of the election rallies,
14:26saying that this night travel ban will be sorted
14:28because that's causing a lot of trouble
14:30to people living in forest regions,
14:32close to forest regions like in Vyanat.
14:34So, both are Congress-led governments,
14:37so there should be, you know,
14:38solutions sought about it,
14:41and that was also highlighted by the Chief Minister.
14:44Climate change,
14:45as we are going through a lot of disasters,
14:48a lot of tragedies every year.
14:50So, for that also,
14:51a package should be announced
14:52and consideration should be given
14:54to people living in coastal regions
14:55and those who are prone to these natural calamities.
14:58So, our main points,
14:59these are the ones that were listed
15:01by the Chief Minister today in the meeting.
15:03Okay, let's talk about Andhra Pradesh.
15:05Part of the NDA,
15:06you had Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu there,
15:08also part of this particular meeting,
15:11this event,
15:11who pushed for greater cooperation
15:13among the southern states.
15:14Again, water management is a key focus.
15:17He's proposed linking the Godavari and Kaveri rivers
15:20and diverting over 500 TMC of water
15:23while calling for Andhra, Telangana,
15:25Karnataka and Tamil Nadu
15:26to work together on figuring out river linking
15:29and ironing out these issues.
15:32So, it's an interesting plan
15:33that he's put for the long-term
15:35Ganga-Kaveri-Godavari river linking plan.
15:38Naidu's proposed a bullet train corridor
15:40connecting Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka
15:41and Tamil Nadu via Kuppam
15:42along with a common logistics network
15:44and dry ports across the south.
15:46So, he's in fact pushing
15:48for more cooperation between the south.
15:50He's asked for integrating
15:51the southern power grid as well
15:53with the national grid.
15:54I'll bring in right now
15:55Apoorva Jai Chandra
15:57because Apoorva Chandrababu Naidu
15:58putting the spotlight on the south
16:00has said the south economy
16:01has the potential to reach
16:0210 trillion dollars by 2047.
16:06So, yes, while he's spoken about
16:07some of the issues Andhra faces
16:09with regards to water,
16:10Chandrababu Naidu's chosen
16:11to put the spotlight
16:12essentially on what the south
16:13can achieve collectively.
16:18Well, that's right, Akshita.
16:19In fact, you know,
16:20Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister
16:21Chandrababu Naidu
16:22has gone on and talked about issues
16:24pertaining overall to southern India.
16:27He's not just talked about,
16:28you know, issues
16:29when it comes to Andhra Pradesh.
16:30Essentially, issues, yes,
16:31that he has also laid out,
16:33you know, in front of Amit Shah,
16:34which is, you know,
16:35talking about the
16:36Polovarum Banaka Charla project
16:37between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
16:39The state bifurcation project,
16:41remember, it's been over a decade
16:42since Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
16:44have been bifurcated.
16:45That issue that has been,
16:46you know, discussed with
16:48Union Home Minister Amit Shah as well.
16:50Not only that, you know,
16:51metro rail works between
16:52Vizac and, you know, Vijay Wada,
16:55that is an important metro line
16:56that needs to be talked about.
16:57That also has been something
16:59that the Chief Minister has stated.
17:01And not only,
17:02interestingly enough,
17:03when all these states
17:04are essentially fighting for water,
17:05which is, we see Karnataka
17:07and Tamil Nadu talking about
17:08fighting about the Kaveri water
17:09and the Mekadatru dam
17:10and, you know,
17:12Telangana and Andhra fighting
17:13about the Polovarum
17:14and Bankashala project.
17:15We have the Chief Minister
17:16of Andhra Pradesh
17:17that are going ahead
17:18and giving a unique thought,
17:20which is linking Godavari
17:21and, you know,
17:23which is linking Godavari
17:24with Kaveri
17:25so that there is no
17:26shortfall of water
17:27for Tamil Nadu.
17:28He says essentially
17:29by interlinking these rivers
17:30they completely can be devoid
17:32of the entire Mekadatru issue
17:34and the trussle that is ongoing
17:35is yet another, you know,
17:36revision that Chief Minister
17:38Sundar Babu Naidu has granted.
17:40He has talked about
17:41the state GDPs
17:42and southern states
17:43and essentially pointing out
17:44to all the chief ministers
17:45saying we are the southern states
17:47which are bringing in
17:48most of the GDP
17:49to come together,
17:50work together, be united,
17:50which I think we saw also
17:52in the messaging
17:52of all of them being together.
17:54Let me quickly focus
17:55on Telangana
17:56the only state
17:57where the chief minister
17:58didn't turn up
17:58besides of course
17:59Puducheri
17:59but you had the Telangana
18:01deputy chief minister
18:02present there,
18:04Bhati Vikramarka
18:04because Chief Minister
18:06Revant Reddy is travelling,
18:07he's overseas.
18:08What they've spoken of
18:09for Telangana,
18:10Krishna water dispute,
18:12Telangana sought protection
18:13of its legitimate share,
18:14seeking central funding
18:16for key irrigation projects,
18:18Telangana's call
18:18for the resolution
18:19of long pending
18:20Andhra Pradesh
18:21reorganisation issues,
18:22also greater cooperation
18:24among southern states
18:25on water power
18:25and climate challenges.
18:27So quickly,
18:28Abdul Bashir
18:28getting us more details
18:30on this.
18:31Interestingly,
18:31Telangana has pushed
18:32Abdul to be the host city
18:34for the next
18:35southern zonal council meet.
18:38Well, absolutely, Akshita.
18:40What we see is that
18:41as the chief minister,
18:42deputy chief minister,
18:44Bhati Vikramarka
18:44has represented Telangana
18:46where he has clearly
18:47raised,
18:48strongly raised
18:49the state's interest
18:50before Union Home Minister
18:52Amit Shah.
18:53He has clearly said
18:54that, you know,
18:55the Krishna water share
18:57that the Telangana
18:58has to be,
18:58has to get,
18:59must be resolved
19:00and he's also pressed
19:01on early resolution
19:02of AP Reorganisation Act,
19:04the promises
19:05that have been made,
19:05which have been long pending
19:07be it funds,
19:08be it water share
19:08that has to be done.
19:10Apart from that,
19:10what Bhati Vikramarka
19:12has spoke
19:13is support
19:14from the centre.
19:15He sought support
19:16from the centre
19:16regarding Palamur-Urangare
19:18lift irrigation project
19:19and Kaleshwaram project.
19:20Both the projects
19:21where he sought support
19:22from the centre,
19:24environment clearance
19:25to Palamur-Urangare lift.
19:28He also went on
19:29to say that
19:30there must be
19:31a strong or greater
19:32cooperation
19:32between the southern states
19:34when it comes to
19:34water, power
19:36and economic growth.
19:37Also, the climate
19:38resilience is what
19:39he mentioned.
19:41You know,
19:42what's nice to see
19:43is while you had
19:44all of these states
19:45talking, of course,
19:46of their own interest,
19:47their own issues,
19:48each one of the
19:49chief ministers,
19:50representatives there
19:51spoke of coming together
19:53and having a strong
19:54south,
19:55a united south
19:56and a south
19:56that can grow
19:57leaps and bounds
19:59with the centre's
20:00cooperation.
20:00I'm sure all of my
20:01colleagues agree
20:02with me on that.
20:03Thank you very much,
20:04Sagai, Pramod,
20:04Apoorva and
20:05Abdul for joining us
20:07with those details.
20:08Now, what's interesting
20:08is also there's been
20:09a big political fight
20:10over Tamil Nadu's
20:12stand on delimitation.
20:13When Chief Minister
20:14Vijay spoke on
20:15delimitation,
20:16there was a highlight
20:17that several words
20:19didn't match,
20:20resonate with what
20:20was mentioned
20:21in the Tamil Nadu
20:21Assembly a week ago.
20:23Remember,
20:23there was a resolution
20:24passed on delimitation
20:25in the Tamil Nadu
20:26Assembly,
20:27in which
20:27Chief Minister
20:28Vijay had called
20:29for the 543
20:30Lok Sabha seats
20:31to remain unchanged
20:32and for the south's
20:33representation
20:34to be protected.
20:35But at the meeting
20:36that happened today,
20:37what was the messaging?
20:39Well,
20:39his formulation
20:39appeared more nuanced.
20:41Vijay urged the centre
20:42to ensure that
20:42Tamil Nadu's
20:43percentage share
20:44of parliamentary
20:45representation
20:46does not fall.
20:47There's no mention
20:48of a freeze.
20:49There's no mention
20:50of, in fact,
20:51no delimitation.
20:52Instead,
20:53when you speak
20:54of an assurance,
20:55a written assurance
20:56as he's asked
20:57for a percentage
20:59share of Tamil Nadu
21:00not to be touched,
21:01that means,
21:01essentially,
21:02that he's for
21:03fair delimitation.
21:05And it's this difference
21:06that's led to questions
21:07on whether there's been
21:08a softening of the TV case
21:09stand on delimitation.
21:11Listen in to what
21:12Chief Minister Vijay
21:13had said in the Assembly
21:14last week,
21:14and then we'll highlight
21:15for you what his speech
21:17mentioned today
21:18on delimitation.
21:19Thank you very much.
22:03He has spoken of a freeze on 543 seats in the Assembly.
22:07Today, in the speech made by the Chief Minister in this meeting, in the presence of Amitsha,
22:13what's been mentioned, I'll just read that out for you.
22:15I urge the Union Government to provide a clear legislative assurance
22:19that no state will suffer a reduction in its percentage of representation in Parliament
22:24on account of its success in population stabilisation.
22:28I'll bring in on this broadcast, Harish Mohamed Ibrahim, political analyst,
22:32and Satyakumar, national spokesperson of the TVK.
22:35Mr Satyakumar, would you first like to issue a clarification on exactly what the TVK stand is?
22:40Because the wording, sir, between what was mentioned at the Assembly and what's been mentioned today
22:44has thrown people off?
22:47Akshita, the standpoint of the TVK, which I wanted to clarify to the entire country,
22:52is that no delimitation is the standpoint that we will stick on forever.
22:57That's our policy as well.
22:59And no delimitation was the resolution passed by our Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,
23:05Talabati Vijay, in the State Assembly as well.
23:08And if you go and check the State Assembly resolution,
23:11we have clearly mentioned that in whatever form delimitation is not to be taken up,
23:17that is no delimitation.
23:19So that's the standpoint of our party.
23:21That's the standpoint of the government of Tamil Nadu,
23:24which my Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Talabati Vijay, has taken.
23:27Coming back to the Southern Council meeting that happened today,
23:30as per Article 263 of the Constitution of India, Interstate Council meeting,
23:34and this is a statutory and constitutional meeting.
23:38Accordingly, the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,
23:41in page 18, which you read, Akshita,
23:45he clearly said that no state will suffer a reduction in its percentage of representation
23:50in the parliament on account of its success in population stabilization.
23:55And such approach would uphold the principles of equity,
23:59preserve the federal balance envisioned by our constitution,
24:01and reinforce the confidence of all states in our democratic institution.
24:05Not only that, I also would like to draw your reference to page number 19,
24:09where he has very clearly said,
24:11Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Talabati Vijay said,
24:14where we agree, let us act with ambition, where we differ.
24:17Let us resolve our differences through dialogue, mutual respect, and the rule of law.
24:21The rule of law here, wherein in 1971, we brought the freeze for 25 years,
24:27and subsequently, another 25-year freeze also has happened.
24:30Wherein, we are looking at no delimitation as a point of view today,
24:34because we want it to freeze for further,
24:37further for, even for 100 years.
24:40We are working for 100 years.
24:41No, so you are saying no delimitation?
24:42Not fair delimitation?
24:43No delimitation?
24:44That's the standpoint of the TVK.
24:46No delimitation.
24:47Harish, you want to come in?
24:49The TVK is saying there is no change in our stand.
24:53No, first of all, number one, Mr. RCM of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Vijay,
24:58is dead scared of Mr. Amit Shah.
25:00Why I want to say that?
25:01Because only before seven days back,
25:05the Tamil Nadu State Assembly have enacted a complete procedural draft thing,
25:10which is being listed inside the State Assembly,
25:12which states that entire TVK and its government is opposing
25:18there should be no delimitation for the next 25 years.
25:22That is entirely different from a fair delimitation,
25:26which the DMK has been proposing from February 2024,
25:32and they have made sure to bring an all-party meeting,
25:36sorry, five to six states of chief ministers
25:38and the leaders of six states by around April 2026,
25:44before the elections of 2026.
25:46So even at that point of time, or even from 2024,
25:50DMK's stand is very much clear that there should be a fair delimitation.
25:55Either it should be functionally representative or 50%
25:58with bringing down all classes without having the merger
26:05of both Women Empowerment Bill along with the delimitation.
26:08So those shouldn't be clubbed together, number one.
26:11And number two, there shouldn't be any cap.
26:14That is, even for UP, if you're having a 50% of aggregate proposition increase,
26:20the same should be happening for the Tamil Nadu.
26:23So these stands bring that fair delimitation point
26:26to the next third level is 7.18% of fair representation.
26:31That is the proposition of Tamil Nadu's sheep sharing
26:34when it comes to the 1975 or the 2026,
26:39which is going to conclude by 543 seats.
26:42So these kind of methodologies...
26:45But that's what's mentioned.
26:45...and should be...
26:46Sir, percentage, ensuring that that percentage is untouched
26:50is what the Chief Minister has spoken of today.
26:53No, that's what.
26:54They have shifted the stand from no delimitation
26:58to a fair delimitation, which the DNK is proposing from 2024.
27:03Why it happens?
27:04Because Mr. CM Vijay is dead scared to face Mr. Amin Shah
27:09and say that, no, sir, we have already formed a committee
27:13and we have made sure to put in a state assembly
27:15saying no delimitation.
27:16And I want to stick even in front of you,
27:19there is no delimitation should happen in Tamil Nadu.
27:21If he had the spine like the other airs world
27:24chief ministers of Tamil Nadu, he would have said that.
27:27Even if it was Amin Shah or Aini Shah.
27:29The wording, sir, in the resolution, there's talk of freeze.
27:33They're saying, you know, the TVK in that resolution
27:35has said very clearly, 543 seats, freeze.
27:39There's no mention of that, sir, in the speech today.
27:42Instead, there's a written assurance that's sought
27:44that the percentage, the percentage of representation
27:46for Tamil Nadu is untouched.
27:48That sounds exactly like the DMK stand.
27:53Akshita, we are not here for fair delimitation.
27:57We are sticking on to no delimitation.
28:00And what you asked was, why is that specifics are not provided?
28:05So let us understand, it is not an assembly.
28:07It's a southern council meeting
28:10where the matter has to be represented for the southern India.
28:13And accordingly, what is the standpoint of the delimitation
28:16with respect to Tamil Nadu?
28:18We are conveying two important points.
28:21One, no delimitation.
28:22Provide us a legal assurance for the same.
28:25At the same time, we also say the seats have to be frozen,
28:28543 and also the 39 MP seats have to be frozen.
28:31So what is the legal assurance, Mr. Satya Kumar?
28:34Is the legal assurance that there will be adequate representation?
28:38In which case, then you're saying, okay, go ahead with delimitation.
28:41So the legal assurance that we are asking is,
28:44as we are stating no delimitation as part of our assembly resolution,
28:49our percentage should not decrease at any point of time.
28:52When we say percentage, it means that we are sticking on to no delimitation
28:58because many parties are now trying to shift the poll.
29:02And it's a constitutionally convened meeting.
29:06So we wanted to keep the words very, very minimal
29:08to an extent to where we wanted to convey to the entire nation
29:12through the fourth pillar of democracy, through media,
29:16that our standpoint is no delimitation.
29:19We want to have the delimitation to be frozen for n number of years to come
29:25because southern states have implemented,
29:27especially Tamil Nadu has implemented population stabilization.
29:31Accordingly, we are not here for any kind of fair delimitation exercises.
29:36By the way, Akshita, I would like to draw your attention to the book
29:40published by the High Level Committee on Union-State Relations,
29:44which was released by the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,
29:48Mr. M.K. Stalin, on 5th February, 2026,
29:52wherein Tamil Nadu government has proposed
29:53four ways to do delimitation.
29:56If Tamil Nadu is talking about fair delimitation,
29:59they are proposing four steps for delimitation,
30:02which even union government has not thought about.
30:04No, because they are not against delimitation, sir.
30:06The DMK is not against it.
30:08They are saying we are okay with delimitation.
30:10Akshita, if you see, initially, when they burned the bill,
30:13they said no delimitation.
30:15Subsequently, when the Southern Chief Ministers met,
30:17they said fair delimitation.
30:19Now, we are clear in our, as a TVK party,
30:23and my Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Talabadi, Vijay,
30:26is very clear, no delimitation, and it has to be frozen.
30:29But whereas, DMK, when they released the book,
30:32they are suggesting to the union government
30:34how to implement delimitation.
30:37They are suggesting how to implement delimitation.
30:39That's the kind of publication they have officially published.
30:42Harish, do you want to respond to that?
30:43You know, you're saying, Harish, Harish, you're saying that
30:45this is because the Chief Minister is scared of Amit Shah,
30:48that he is not saying no delimitation.
30:50The stand, based on the letter,
30:53is very similar to what the DMK wants.
30:55So, are you suggesting the DMK is buckling to BJP pressure then?
31:00Why should DMK buckle to the pressure?
31:02Even when the fair delimitation point has been exercised,
31:06has been going in a wrong way,
31:08that is when the point Mr. MK Stalin,
31:12during election, had proposed,
31:14taken a draft copy and burn it.
31:16So, like Mr. Satya Kumar has been implying that,
31:19But now we hear comments by DMK saying,
31:21we'll wait and decide, sir.
31:23Now we're hearing comments like,
31:24wait and watch, we'll wait and see what the draft looks like,
31:27then we'll decide.
31:28There's no burning of copies now?
31:30Of course.
31:31Because we have to wait and see.
31:34Because then the draft which was proposed
31:36during the earlier session,
31:37doesn't have whatever Mr. Satya Kumar has said.
31:40What DMK needed to be as a fair delimitation,
31:44those exercises should be followed.
31:47Only then the DMK will accept the delimitation,
31:51exercise as a whole.
31:52If those kind of proportional 7.18%
31:56has not been taken into consideration,
31:59or the act of women's employment bill,
32:01and the delimitation doesn't club together,
32:04these are the two primary points,
32:06which the DMK want to make sure,
32:08the delimitation exercise should happen.
32:10If those kind of draft,
32:11even now, this point of session,
32:13the draft has been proposed.
32:15Because Mr. Anish Shah,
32:16when during the earlier session,
32:18he want to take one hour of time
32:20during the last session
32:21to go ahead and draft a minor correction
32:23should be made,
32:24but hasn't been done at this point of session,
32:27which has concluded recently.
32:28So, only during the November or December session,
32:31No, but the DMK has kept their stand open on this,
32:34very clearly.
32:34The DMK has kept their stand open.
32:36Of course, that has to be...
32:37Of course, we don't have anything conclusive as of now.
32:41So, we have to wait and see...
32:42So, why can't the TVK keep their stand open?
32:44But ultimately, Mr. Satya Kumar,
32:45since you've maintained very clearly,
32:47there is no delimitation,
32:48there's no question of any fair delimitation for the TVK.
32:52Exactly.
32:53Exactly.
32:53That is the point.
32:54Mr. Satya Kumar,
32:55would you concede then
32:56that the wording perhaps
32:57of the Chief Minister
32:58in this particular speech
33:00should have been stronger?
33:01I understand that it's not a resolution
33:03and you can't go into pages and pages
33:05on exactly what the stand is.
33:07But instead of perhaps
33:08asking for a written assurance,
33:10should you have directly said,
33:11Sir, freeze, like Keralam, like Karnataka?
33:14See, the wording that has been proposed
33:17as part of the page number 18
33:18of the Southern Council meeting,
33:19wherein Honorable Chief Minister
33:20of Tamil Nadu Talbadi Vijay
33:22has actually read through
33:23in the meeting
33:24definitely means no delimitation.
33:27That's what I'm trying to explain, Akshita.
33:29And it doesn't require
33:30any more words beyond that
33:32because it should not.
33:34There are two important phrases.
33:36No change in the percentage
33:37and second,
33:39there is a population stabilization measures
33:41which was implemented in Tamil Nadu.
33:43Yes, that's mentioned.
33:44So it has been mentioned.
33:45So when two phrases are mentioned,
33:47that shows that we are for no delimitation.
33:51And adding to that,
33:52in page number 19,
33:53he has said,
33:54let us resolve the differences
33:56through dialogue,
33:57mutual respect,
33:58and rule of law.
34:00Very, very important.
34:01My, definitely,
34:03the panelists will know
34:04what rule of law means.
34:05We are talking about constitution.
34:07We are talking about freezing,
34:09freezing the delimitation
34:11for N number of years to come.
34:13And third important point
34:14is to see to that
34:15any constitutional amendment
34:16to be brought in.
34:18Let it be brought in
34:19for the N number of years to come
34:21so that the delimitation exercise
34:23doesn't happen
34:23without affecting the,
34:25which will affect the percentage
34:26of representation in the party.
34:28Okay.
34:29So the TVK maintains,
34:31there's no change in stance.
34:32There's no question
34:33of softening the stand.
34:34It's no delimitation.
34:36That is the TVK standard right now.
34:37The DMK maintains,
34:38fair delimitation is what we want.
34:40We leave it there.
34:41Mr. Harish and Mr. Satya Kumar,
34:43thank you for your time.
34:44Thank you for joining us here on India today.
34:45Let's cut across to breaking news.
35:15Let's cut across to breaking news.
35:16Kamranado like Rahul Gandhi
35:18very much.
35:19Listen in to what KC Venipopala said.
35:23Rahul Gandhi, one year before,
35:26warned Prime Minister Narendra Muni.
35:30If you are not going to address
35:31the concern of the students
35:33on this examination,
35:35you are going to face
35:37serious consequences in this country.
35:39But he didn't decide at all.
36:02Okay, let's move on to news now from Andhra Pradesh.
36:05Over the last many weeks,
36:06of course, we've been seeing
36:07all of the protests over exams,
36:08over alleged irregularities
36:09in different parts of the country.
36:11This storm has now hit Andhra Pradesh too.
36:14There have been protests.
36:15There's been a whole lot of politics
36:16between the TDP and the YSRCP
36:18over allegations that the YSRCP
36:20has put forth of irregularities
36:22in the 2025 DSC exams.
36:25Let's get you details
36:26of what's really happened
36:27because you've had Chandran Babu Naidu
36:29speaking on it.
36:29You've had Jaganmur and Reddy
36:30speaking on it.
36:31We'll give you a sense
36:32of that face-off first.
36:37Andhra Pradesh is now
36:39the latest flashpoint
36:40in the growing wave
36:41of student protests
36:43across the country.
36:44With the District Selection Committee exam,
36:47Rao, rapidly turning
36:48into a full-blown political battle
36:50between the ruling TDP
36:52and the opposition YSRCP.
36:56And leading them from the front
36:58is the opposition,
36:59questioning whether the exam
37:01was conducted fairly,
37:03alleging the ranking system
37:04was rigged
37:05and claiming even candidates
37:07who cleared the exam
37:09would deny jobs.
37:11Has the DSC exam
37:13been conducted fairly or not?
37:14If the DSC exam
37:15is being conducted fairly,
37:16how come a person
37:17who works in the department
37:19gets the first rank?
37:21Even if he gets the first rank,
37:22why didn't you give him the job?
37:24What are all these allegations
37:26that are being made
37:27on the sports quota?
37:28So, until this,
37:30the whole thing is sorted out,
37:31until we get a very clear
37:33understanding on what has happened
37:34in the recruitment of DSC,
37:36we will make sure
37:37that we fight for the people.
37:39Chief Minister Naidu,
37:40instead of defending the government,
37:42went on the offensive,
37:43targeting the previous YSRCP government
37:46over alleged Group 1 exam irregularities.
37:50Naidu called the process illegal,
37:52flagged unauthorized evaluators,
37:54including the likes of drivers and plumbers,
37:57and demanded accountability
37:59from those responsible.
38:01And he did not stop there.
38:03He threw down the gauntlet
38:05to former Chief Minister
38:06Vice Jagan Mohan Reddy,
38:07challenging him
38:09to face the Assembly
38:10and answer Andhra's youth.
38:12The name of Mr. Kadan
38:13is called
38:15Electricians,
38:17Plumbers,
38:18Data Entry Operators,
38:21Drivers,
38:23Constriction Workers.
38:35Andhra Minister Nara Lokesh
38:36says they're still waiting
38:38for Jagan to accept
38:40his DSC debate challenge.
38:42And now,
38:44that challenge
38:45has turned into
38:46a political waiting game.
38:48Andhra Minister Nara Lokesh
38:49says they're still waiting
38:51for Jagan to accept
38:52his DSC debate challenge.
38:54Lokesh has even offered
38:56Jagan home advantage,
38:57saying the former
38:58Chief Minister
38:58can't choose the venue
39:00that he prefers.
39:02The YSRCP,
39:03meanwhile,
39:04has hit back,
39:04accusing the government
39:05of playing
39:06diversion politics.
39:08The YSR Congress Party
39:10has been demanding
39:11for the resignation
39:12of Mr. Nara Lokesh,
39:13who has done
39:16malpractices
39:17while conducting
39:17the DSC examinations.
39:19So we want
39:20Mr. Lokesh
39:21has to resign
39:22from his job,
39:23he has to
39:24step down
39:24from his job.
39:25The second thing
39:26is our main demand
39:27is let the third party
39:30inquire
39:30about the whole
39:31scam,
39:32about the DSC.
39:34If the Lokesh
39:35is genuine,
39:37why can't he
39:40organize
39:40a third party inquiry?
39:43This is our only demand.
39:45What began
39:46as a demand
39:47for answers
39:48from students,
39:49thus has become
39:51a political war
39:52over accountability.
39:54This chapter
39:55of exam protests
39:56is no longer
39:57just about jobs,
39:59but has turned
40:00into a battle
40:00over who answers
40:02to the youth.
40:03Bureau Report,
40:04India Today.
40:08I'll just sum up
40:09for you
40:09the political
40:09war of words
40:10before we open
40:11this up
40:11between Chandrababu
40:12Nayadu and
40:13Jaganmohan Reddy.
40:13The Antra
40:14Chief Minister
40:15dared Jagan
40:16to speak
40:16in the Assembly
40:17on this.
40:17Jaganmohan Reddy
40:18responded by saying
40:19there should be
40:19a CBI investigation.
40:21Take a look at this.
40:45The Antra
40:55The irregularities and the paper leak which took place during this current regime
41:05of 2025 DSE exams, teacher exams, teacher recruitment exams was highlighted.
41:16First time in the history of this country, you have a situation on two counts.
41:26The first count is a minister issues the Jews wherein without even having to write DSE exam,
41:46on the ground of sports quota, people are given jobs without even having to qualify,
41:57without even having to write an exam.
41:58This is the biggest scam of the century.
42:03Okay, let me open this up.
42:05We've got both the TDP and YSRCP with us this evening.
42:08Jyotsna Tirunagari, national spokesperson of the TDP, Sheikh Salam Babu,
42:12who is the state convener of the youth empowerment cell of the YSRCP with us.
42:18Jyotsna Ma'am, I'd like to begin with you on the allegations that right now your government faces.
42:22The YSRCP is now demanding a CBI investigation.
42:27I think it's just a diversion tactic of them.
42:30They do it all the time.
42:31First and foremost, they have to answer on APPSC which they don't want to.
42:35And if they really felt that DSE, there were some irregularities that has happened in DSE,
42:41then why didn't they come to assembly and question?
42:43As simple as that, they have 11 members that could have come to the assembly because our minister was ready.
42:47Our minister was ready with the facts, with the numbers, with the proofs,
42:50what went where and how the entire process has happened.
42:54Now, one small thing I would like to bring to the notice of public and also you is,
42:59court has raised grave concerns, very, very grave concerns,
43:03and has ordered, the court has ordered, not me or somebody else or the government,
43:08court has ordered SIT probe on the APPSC irregularities.
43:12The same court has literally cleared all the allegations against DSE.
43:17So, they should understand where they are standing today.
43:21As, you know, demanded and in fact, as invited by our education minister, Srinara Lokeshgaru,
43:26we have time and again repeatedly requested Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy
43:29to come to the assembly and question the government.
43:32Assembly is the arena where we have to talk.
43:35So, Sheikh Salam Babu, why hasn't this been brought up in the assembly?
43:38Why hasn't Jaganmohan Reddy replied in the assembly?
43:42Yeah, good evening and good evening, Losh Nagarun.
43:44Now, before getting into political arguments, I want to make one thing absolutely clear.
43:48This issue is not about why it's TDP versus why it's RCT.
43:52It is about marriage, transparency, accountability,
43:54and the future of thousands of youth in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
43:58No, but the TDP is saying there's been no irregularities.
44:01So, let me, let me, let me, let me come to that point.
44:04So, many serious allegations have been raised on the mega-reset recruitment,
44:08particularly portion paper leakage, sports quota selection,
44:11and medical manipulation, and the entire, the allegation is on the integrity of the recruitment.
44:17When the irregularities was committed by TDP, it deserves the government to,
44:21it deserves the government to answer the questions based on the evidences,
44:25not upon the political counter-allegations.
44:27When the YSRCP is questioning about the DSA allegations,
44:31suddenly the idea of the group has come into mind of Mr. Nayadu and Lokesh.
44:37Mr. Nayadu, can I put in my point?
44:39Yeah, please.
44:40They very clearly spoke about one term, integrity.
44:44I'll give you one small example.
44:46There are like thousands of examples, but one small example
44:48of what integrity are they talking about during their tenure in the APPSC fiasco
44:54and the scam that they have done.
44:56Literally a group one candidate, a person who is an aspirant,
45:00was allegedly appointed as an evaluator for the same examination.
45:04So now you come and talk about integrity.
45:06And again, as rightly quoted by the YSRCP spokesperson, I'll tell you one thing.
45:10We, as the government, are committed to the youth of the state of Andhra Pradesh,
45:1516,347 people have been recruited as teachers with a transparent system and a transparent DSA.
45:24In fact, before the notification went ahead, they launched almost 200 and odd cases.
45:28But we cleared everything legally and we went ahead and conducted the entire process.
45:34No, I think ultimately, ultimately, Sheikh Salam Babu, the question is,
45:38what is the evidence that, you know, the YSRCP has to level these allegations against the TDP?
45:43Because the TDP is highlighting constantly that even in the courts,
45:46so far nothing's really, you know, held ground in the courts on this.
45:51Yes, the city was formed by Kuhanabula High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
45:55In the same city, they have mentioned that there is no alteration of answer papers.
46:00There is no alteration of OMR valuation slips.
46:03There is no allegation of corrections.
46:06The corrections which are made on the OMR slips are done by the...
46:09The police have no signatures, sir.
46:11Yeah, yeah, madam, you have to go through...
46:13Because, see, see, I'm constantly YSRCP telling you that TDP is the factory of making the manipulation fake propaganda.
46:20Absolutely not.
46:21You are the master...
46:21Sir, my question to you...
46:23No, you are the master...
46:24Sir, my question to you...
46:27Sir, the same code has done this.
46:28Sir, the same code has cleared everything that you see.
46:30Sir, Joshna Garo.
46:31Sir, Joshna Garo.
46:32See, see, Joshna Garo, see...
46:33Wait a minute, you are talking...
46:34Sir, go ahead, go ahead.
46:35I'm sorry.
46:35Be patient.
46:36Be patient to listen to things.
46:38See, if you go through the SIT report, if you go through the SIT report, I can mention
46:42the page number also.
46:43If you go through the SIT report, in the SIT report itself, in the SIT report itself, it is
46:48mentioned that...
46:49I think you have...
46:49I have SIT report with you.
46:52Yes, I have.
46:53You can open the page number 71.
46:55Most of the examiners confirmed that corrections had, in fact, been made by them during the
47:01course of evaluation.
47:02They stated that although the corrections were made by them, they have inevitably amputated
47:08to affix their initials against some of the corrections.
47:11The examiner attributed these omissions to oversight during the evaluation process and
47:15denied that corrections had been made by any another new person.
47:19Thus, the investigation established that in majority of such cases, the obstinance of
47:23initial was attributable to the inadverent omission of the concerned examiners rather than subsequent
47:29unauthorized alteration by the target party.
47:33The SIT report itself is clearly mentioned that even though the initials are not affixed by
47:38the examiners while during the correction, they have themselves committed that we have
47:44in the process of evaluation, in the oversight of evaluation, we have missed the initials.
47:49No, but even...
47:50In the same SIT report.
47:51One second.
47:52Jodhsram, I think when you respond also on the issue of the legal side.
47:56They are manipulating the...
47:57You know, the petitions are not all filed by YSRCP here.
48:00The petitions in these cases are not all politically motivated or filed by the YSRCP.
48:06No, I'll tell you one thing.
48:08See, when they speak about, you know, let me first talk about APPSC, which the SIT report
48:14is mentioning about.
48:15Is it not correct?
48:15Let us talk about YSRCP.
48:17No, no.
48:17I'm coming point by point, sir.
48:19Let us talk about YSRCP.
48:19Sir, I'm coming point by point.
48:20So, let's debate.
48:21Let's debate in a very dignified manner because the people have to know exactly what has happened.
48:25Sir, is it not true?
48:27Is it not true?
48:28Is it not true that the exam answer cheats were literally allegedly kept at a private resort
48:34for 84 days?
48:35Is it not true?
48:37See, ma'am.
48:37See, Josh Nagaru, when you are...
48:38Second, sir, let's...
48:39When I spoke, I didn't interrupt.
48:41One at a time, sir.
48:41Please.
48:42One second.
48:42Please.
48:4425 evaluators were allegedly appointed unofficially.
48:47Sir, I can give you thousands of the allegations and the investigation reports on
48:52that.
48:52My simple question to...
48:53Yeah, me too.
48:53Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy.
48:54My simple question, ma'am.
48:56To Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy.
48:57He claims that there were some irregularities that have happened in DSE.
49:01He claims he's standing by the aspirants of DSE.
49:04Then what happened to him for the past one year?
49:06Where has he gone?
49:07Where has he gone?
49:08Why was he not in the state of Andhra Pradesh to fight for these...
49:11To fight on these things?
49:12No.
49:13After one year, he comes back and says the irregularities have happened.
49:17But still he doesn't.
49:18He is an MLA and a party...
49:20Why did he come to the assembly and ask ma'am?
49:20No, but that's also because there have been cases now that have come up, ma'am.
49:23Why did he come to the assembly and ask ma'am?
49:24There are petitions that have been filed and so the YSRCP essentially has lent their
49:28voice to that issue.
49:29Absolutely.
49:30My point is you are an MLA.
49:31You represent a party.
49:33You head the party.
49:34You should have come to the assembly and spoke about it.
49:37Okay.
49:37We have given an open invitation for debate.
49:40Our minister was ready with the facts, proofs, everything.
49:44Okay.
49:45What was the issue?
49:46Mr. Sheikh Salam Babu, your response?
49:48On particularly APA with CSE.
49:50Yeah.
49:50Joshnagar rightly pointed.
49:52She is claiming that from past one year, where is Jakan Mohradi?
49:56Yes.
49:57You are correct.
49:57Because the alleged scam was exposed recently.
50:01So, we are questioning now.
50:02Then what about your leader?
50:04Then what about your leader?
50:05Sir, listen to me madam.
50:07Be patient.
50:08You are talking about APPSC?
50:09Yes.
50:10I am talking about APPSC but be patient to listen.
50:12Sir, if DSE has so many irregularities, why did he come to the assembly and ask?
50:18Simple sir.
50:19Listen to me.
50:20See, assembly is not a forum to question the irregularities.
50:24Sir, assembly is the forum to question the government.
50:26Even common man, even common, you and me can question the irregularities of the government.
50:30Sir, there is a difference between a common man and an MLA.
50:32Everyone can question.
50:33Sir, you are right.
50:34Everyone can question.
50:34But the question is why is YSRCP, why is Jakan Mohradi not responding or not taking
50:39on Chandra Papan, I do an assembly?
50:40Yeah, before that I want to…
50:42Argue wait, have a debate point by point in the assembly.
50:46I want to put my point.
50:46On both these issues.
50:47Yeah, before answering that, I want to put one point.
50:49See, Joshna Garo, where was…
50:51Where was Jakan Mohradi all the time from one year?
50:54The exam was…
50:55The recruitment process was completed before one year.
50:57See, that is right.
50:59Sir, I can answer for that later.
51:01See, one thing I want to ask Joshna Garo,
51:03that before 2019 election, in the March month of…
51:07I think 2024,
51:09Sandhra Babu Nadegaru has addressed the PPT for 45 minutes,
51:12alleging that these 2018 batch candidates are recruited in a regular manner.
51:20They should be removed from the services.
51:24And the same campaign, they have used for the election also.
51:28Even after completion of the election,
51:30immediately of the completion of the election,
51:33the same officers have been appointed.
51:34The shocking thing is…
51:36The 2018 officer was appointed as a…
51:39Kuppa Makhdivo.
51:40Sridhar Makhdivo has appointed as a Kuppa Makhdivo.
51:42Before election, their standard was different.
51:44After election, their standard was different.
51:46They are sleeping for two years.
51:47When my leader, my party chief is questioning about the DSC,
51:51suddenly the group of allegations…
51:52Jostrabam, your response to that.
51:54You know, you constantly question…
51:55Where is Jagan?
51:56Why has he brought it up now?
51:57Similar question now.
51:58What?
51:58What?
51:59I didn't get you.
52:00Repeat, repeat the question.
52:01He recently said, Jaganmohan Reddy,
52:02why has he brought up the issue of DSC now?
52:05Now, the YSRCP is saying the same thing, ma'am,
52:07about APPSC.
52:08No, no, no, no.
52:09Let me… let me clarify here.
52:11APPSC has been going around.
52:13And in fact, that's the reason I said,
52:14court has ordered an SIT probe on it.
52:17You should understand that.
52:18Court has ordered an SIT probe on it.
52:20The investigation is on.
52:21The investigation is on.
52:22The investigation is on.
52:23We have to understand.
52:24The investigation is on, sir.
52:26Nobody has…
52:26No, before investigation…
52:28Nobody has hang up.
52:28Sir, one second.
52:29One second.
52:32One second, sir.
52:33One second.
52:34One second.
52:34Hold on.
52:34One second.
52:35You said, YSRCP is not politicizing the issue.
52:38They are standing by the candidates.
52:40Which is absolutely wrong.
52:41Because it's a YSRCP MLC whose petition has been quashed by the court.
52:46Claiming you are actually filing wrong and misleading the people.
52:49Now, my simple question, time and again, I need to ask this.
52:53Because assembly is a forum where you question the government.
52:57They are obliged to answer on the floor of the house.
53:00And when our minister and when our entire government was okay.
53:03And we said…
53:05And we discussed on both the things.
53:06We spoke about APPSC.
53:07We spoke about DSC.
53:09We didn't shy away from anything.
53:10Because our government is committed to the youth of Andhra Pradesh.
53:14From day one, we have been…
53:15Our first signature was on DSC.
53:17So, we won't back out even when they are talking of so many irregularities.
53:23One second.
53:24One second.
53:24In October, we are going to conduct one more DSC.
53:27Trust me.
53:27We are going to give one more notification.
53:29We are going to conduct it.
53:30How much about Mr. Jagar Monadi Christ?
53:32We are going to take the youth forward.
53:34Let us…
53:34We have seen this DSC.
53:36How wonderful you have done.
53:38See…
53:38My question is…
53:38Sir, you didn't even conduct one DSC, sir.
53:40I am sorry to say.
53:41You didn't even conduct one DSC.
53:44And Mr. Jagar Monadi does not understand the difference between DSC and PPSC.
53:48Okay.
53:48One at a time, please.
53:49One at a time, please.
53:50Look at his press meet today, sir.
53:51He doesn't understand the difference between DSC and PPSC.
53:52Yeah, yeah.
53:53I know…
53:53So, go ahead.
53:54Your response.
53:55Look at Chandra Babu in his yesterday's assembly speech.
53:58He didn't even know how to spell the question.
54:00Spell the spellings.
54:01So, don't go into personal things.
54:03The thing is…
54:05Sir, I am saying…
54:05As the ex-chief mister, does he understand what DSC and APPSC?
54:09Okay.
54:09You want me to show the video how he is talking about it?
54:11He knows very well.
54:12Sir, he is trivializing the money.
54:13He is playing with the lives of people.
54:15No, no.
54:16You can't do that.
54:17No, no.
54:18No, he means that both DSC and APPSC…
54:21Sir, do you really claim all this 16,327K?
54:22One at a time, please.
54:23People have appointed her wrong?
54:24Come on, sir.
54:26You want me to play the video you played?
54:27He doesn't understand…
54:28Okay.
54:28Let's talk between DSC and APPSC.
54:30I don't want to get into a video fight here, please.
54:32Go ahead, sir.
54:34Sheikh, sir.
54:34Go ahead.
54:35Sir, one thing…
54:35Josh Nagar didn't answer my question.
54:38Before 2024 election, Chandra Babu Naidu has held a PPSC presentation for more than
54:4445 minutes, alleging that the selected candidate, sir, came into recruitment by wrong means.
54:49He committed that after coming into power, he will take action against them.
54:54Then why he didn't take action against them?
54:57Even after coming into power, they are the first officers who have got the postings.
55:01One of the officers, who belongs to 2018 batch, Srinivas Rajul.
55:05He was posted as a Kuppa Mahat Bmo.
55:08If the Chandra Babu Naidu allegation is that they are claims by irregular means, then why he was posted?
55:15What you are doing all these two years of time?
55:18Why didn't you get a probe?
55:19Why didn't they added a CBI investigation on that?
55:21When has the SIT group continued…
55:22Okay.
55:22Before I wrap this up, Josh Nagar, quickly your response.
55:25The vice of the CP is demanding a CBI investigation.
55:27Are you open to a CBI investigation, ma'am?
55:30One second.
55:30One second.
55:31One second.
55:32I have to wrap this up.
55:33Josh Nagar, last 10 seconds.
55:36Last 10 seconds.
55:37That's what I'm saying.
55:37There have been demands for a CBI investigation.
55:39Are you open to it?
55:40Yes or no?
55:41First, let them prove what are the irregularities, ma'am.
55:44They are not even coming on the house to talk about them.
55:47Okay.
55:48There is not even coming on the house to prove.
55:49Okay.
55:50I'm going to leave it at that.
55:51I'm going to leave it at that.
55:52This is far too heated.
55:53This is far too heated.
55:55But Jyotsana, ma'am and Shrik, so thank you for joining us.
55:57The TDP-YSRCP war of words there were exam irregularities.
56:01One pointing out to one exam irregularity, the other to another.
56:05Basically, whichever suits their political narrative.
56:08But the question will be on whether exam aspirants in any way have been let down.
56:12And if they have, it should be a detailed investigation.
56:14We're going to continue tracking that big political fight.
56:16We're going to continue tracking that big political fight.
