00:00A strong cold front is pushing through the Carolinas on Friday.
00:03That will bring some scattered thunderstorms.
00:05Some of these will be severe with damaging wind and flash flooding.
00:09Behind that front, we're going to get a pretty cool pocket of air to settle across the northeast for the
00:14weekend.
00:15Great weather on Friday north of the PA Turnpike will start things off very pleasant.
00:20However, as we get into the weekend, showers will return, even some thunderstorms,
00:24and it will be a little cooler out there.
00:26It's still somewhat humid, though, given the moisture in the atmosphere.
00:31As we move into the weekend, you can see showers, thunderstorms at times.
00:34Some of the greatest flood threat will be occurring right along the I-95 and down to the beaches.
00:39In the interior, by the way, we could see a few water spouts over the Great Lakes
00:44with that warm lake water under some chillier air.
00:46So both Saturday and Sunday will bring some off-and-on showers and some thunderstorms for some,
00:51though it won't rain the whole time.
00:53Temperatures are a little more comfortable despite the cloud cover and the wet weather.
00:57We'll get a little warmer on Sunday.
