00:00Even a tornado warning issued earlier in part of the eastern shore of Maryland.
00:04We're tracking some damaging winds and flash flood threats is the main concerns here
00:09through the Delmarva Peninsula, southern parts of New Jersey, even into central Jersey,
00:14and areas from I-95 to the coast.
00:17And we've been dealing with some nasty storms out there.
00:20Flash flooding has been a big problem even in the interior in central Pennsylvania, for example.
00:24And we're going to continue to track some of these storms as we roll east through the early evening hours.
00:31And again, a moderate two out of four risk on the AccuWeather four-tiered severe threat.
00:35Now, as we look tomorrow, the front pushes farther south,
00:38and southeast Virginia and the Carolinas will see a severe risk with flash flooding and damaging winds.
00:45Let's take a look at Raleigh.
00:46We're going to kind of focus more on the northeast here after this,
00:49but I wanted to point out big-time thunderstorms in the mid-afternoon into the evening here
00:53with wind and flooding here.
00:55This is ending the heat wave in the southeast,
00:57but these are going to be some pretty gusty storms.
00:59And as we move farther to the north beyond the storms in Virginia and West Virginia,
01:04we look great tomorrow north of the PA Turnpike.
01:06One exception will be southeast New England with some lingering rain for part of the day.
01:10Saturday, a little cooler out there with some showers and rain for the coast,
01:15also some scattered storms for other areas as well.
01:18It will be kind of one of these set-ups where we sometimes face water spouts on the Great Lakes,
01:24cooler air over the relatively warm lakes, but also this weekend it will be fairly humid,
01:29even though temperatures will be down just a bit.
01:32So we'll see showers and storms for the coast as well,
01:34but this graphic is focusing on the Great Lakes,
01:36mentioning the water spout risk on the Great Lakes.
01:39And as we watch these showers and storms move through the area near the coast during the day,
01:45today, tonight, tomorrow, most of the action stays south before things return more active for the weekend.
