00:31and I think he deserves a second chance, without a doubt.

00:45we could probably get somebody 80% of what Tony Romo gives us on the air
00:51and pay him 80% less than what Tony Romo gets paid on the air.

02:05But, look, I've, I have experienced this before,

02:15I've been at Sports Grid eight, nine years,
02:17or eight years, whatever it is.
02:18It feels so great to have a job.
02:19It feels so great to be wanted.
02:21It feels so great to get paid well.
02:23But then when you start getting paid well,
02:26a few years in, the company, not our company,
02:29but the company starts to say,
02:31hey, are we paying this guy too much money
02:33for what we're getting out of this?
02:34Can we get somebody for less?
02:36And I think that's inevitably what may be happening
02:40with Tony Romo here.
02:41And J.J. Watt, Joe, I'm going to guess,
02:44he's going to be really good.
02:45And I think he'll probably be close to as good
02:49as Tony Romo, and then they're going to look at it
02:50and say, well, you know, J.J. Watt would love
02:55to be the number one guy.
02:56We could pay him half of what Tony Romo is getting paid,
02:59and that's probably the end game here.
03:02So Tony Romo's days of broadcasting games are not done.
03:05I think they're done.
03:06But I just think they're done at this network.
03:09Yes, at CBS, I think they're done.
03:11But I think he will get picked up.
03:13He'll sit the year out.

03:18Tony Romo, next season, college football on Fox.
