00:04reported as affected in the district of Puyo in the Department of Ayacucho.
00:09Precisely according to the Technical Secretary of the Municipality, Harrison Altamirano,
00:13at least 18 of the impacted structures were deemed uninhabitable, with damages including
00:18torn down facades and extensive cracks.
00:21Altamirano explained that as well as homes, damage was reported at health facilities and
00:26schools and said that risk management technical teams were working to assess the extent of
00:31the impact.
00:32Moreover, he stressed that, so far, no fatalities or injuries had been recorded in Puyo after
00:38the quake.
00:39In the aftermath of the disaster, local residents have urged the government to help the affected
00:44locality.
