00:00so as i stated uh the ufc is going back to sacramento for the first time in seven years
00:05sacramento big time mma town used to have a bunch of fighters uh from the area so and wanted to
00:12have a local fighter on this card actually which is the main event with anthony hernandez
00:16and gregory rodriguez which to me tom is a really fun fight super cool fight uh actually uh hernandez
00:25of course is on that big long winning streak we're just talking about sean strickland strickland
00:29beat him minus 160 favorite um in this fight total two and a half over under minus 115
00:37so we've got the sack town local against uh the tough ass brazilian here tom fun fun fight to me
00:45yeah really fun fight two guys that i've i've been on quite a bit over the course of their careers
00:51um you know both guys that you have gone on good streaks have very good skills both have pretty
00:57good grappling obviously fluffy is the one who's known he's kind of like the the uh uh marab of
01:05this division where he's known for takedown after takedown after takedown cardio pace all that good
01:11stuff um and robocop on the other hand uh rodriguez is you know he's more of a power guy he
01:18does have
01:18he does have that jujitsu in the back pocket he's a very well-rounded fighter but he's definitely got
01:24the bigger power in this one he's definitely got the advantage on the feet but it's a weird one to
01:30break down because that last fight with hernandez uh strickland you know i was expecting strickland
01:35or uh hernandez to have some success with the takedowns even though i know strickland has good
01:40takedown defense but for the most part it took place on the feet strickland hurt him to the body
01:45which is where hernandez is weak we've seen him hurt to the body many times in his career uh in
01:52strickland you know he saw blood in the water and he went for the kill now there is talk about
01:57hernandez he was hurt coming into that fight he had a rib injury coming into that fight so
02:01you know who knows but you know it's tough when you see a guy get beat like that to back
02:07him but
02:08you know being a hometown guy being a high pressure guy we know rodriguez does kind of fade a little
02:14bit
02:14later in fights i still think fluffy's live in this one i think he gets it done um and i
02:20like him i
02:20like this fight to go long i mean hernandez i don't understand the total here tom i was gonna bring
02:26this up like a two and a half really feels a little yeah it's an interesting total because i mean
02:31obviously like if if he uh if uh robocop hurts him early like he could get him out early but
02:38to me i
02:39feel like this fight's gonna go long uh kopalov was able to take down uh rodriguez twice uh in
02:46in their fight that was and he took him down in the first round took him down in the second
02:50round
02:50so i expect hernandez to have some success with the takedowns early in this fight and push that pace
02:57and that's what he does i mean he drags guys into the deep water so i expect this fight to
03:03go into the
03:04third and fourth rounds uh but overall i think hernandez does get it done he might have to weather
03:09a storm early you might be able to get a live bet on him maybe maybe he loses that first
03:14round and
03:15you know flips to the dog uh but overall i think hernandez bounces back here i think this is a
03:21spot
03:21for him he gets those takedowns off and he just keeps that pace going and just wears over the course
03:26of
03:26you know three to five rounds even if it goes all the way i do lean hernandez in this fight
03:32as well
03:33but i know he could lose but you know i do i do lean hernandez but to me like i
03:39looked at the
03:39total here and i'm almost like what is this like a mistake or not a mistake but because they know
03:44they had a few two and a half minus 115 here i see sort of the generic line and i'm
03:50like no that's
03:50the real line actually all right two and a half uh for the main event card here and we're talking
03:55about two super tough dudes as tom just stated hernandez starts to get takedowns going the fight's
04:00going to get going and i don't think rodriguez is going to drop hernandez in sacramento in the
04:05first like couple of minutes of the fight this should be a real grind i would be shocked if
04:10somebody got stopped late in the fourth early in the fifth tom but two and a half man i'm betting
04:15the
04:15over yeah i like the over just by itself yeah that's a good that's a good bet that's a good
04:21way to start
04:21the fight um yeah i mean and and uh hernandez doesn't get really knocked out like robocop
04:29throws big power and knocks people out with headshots he's not a big body puncher guy and
04:34that's where that's where hernandez would be would be weak so obviously you know knowing that coming
04:39into the fight maybe he does try to go to the body a little bit more uh but generally speaking
04:43uh
04:44rodriguez is throwing headshots you know trying to knock guys out that one but that's not really the
04:48way to to knock out hernandez you got to hurt him to the body and you got to you got
04:52to hurt him
