00:00You'll definitely notice the chill in the air through this morning and into this evening but
00:04by day this weekend is looking very dry and sunny and relatively warm for most of us. We do have
00:09a
00:09northerly wind though so that's bringing more in the way of cloud to more north and eastern coast
00:13and there will be a few showers here and there but relatively light compared to what we've seen so
00:18far this week. So for most of us a dry afternoon is on the cards. A little bit cloudier than
00:24this
00:24morning as we head into the afternoon particularly for more northern areas and there's a chance,
00:29a greater chance of showers across the very far northwest of Scotland but as I said for most of
00:33us a dry afternoon on the cards. Temperatures a little bit below average for some areas in the
00:39high teens but across more southern coasts they'll be closer to the low 20s which is pretty close to
00:44autumn average temperatures but certainly cooler than we will have got used to through much of
00:49this summer so far. Into this evening skies clear once again still a few showers lingering across
00:56some coastal areas but for most of us a dry night to come. Clear skies developing quite widely so
01:01another chilly one on the cards to start tomorrow morning. Towns and cities 10 or 11 degrees but
01:06really it will be cooler than that particularly where we see the longest lived clear spells
01:10in more northern areas. Temperatures down to the low single figures so pretty fresh but that fresh
01:17feel won't last all that long. The winds are a little bit lighter as we head into Sunday
01:21particularly across England and Wales so the sun is going to feel a little bit stronger through the
01:26day. We'll likely see a sea breeze developing into the afternoon across the south coast as well.
01:31Similarly to today it will turn a bit cloudier into the afternoon but it'll still feel relatively
01:35bright. Chance of a very light shower for a time across parts of Scotland and some areas of northern
01:41Ireland but for most of us another dry day and slightly warmer into tomorrow than today.
01:47reaching around 23 possibly 24 degrees in the south and east most of us around 18 or 19 degrees so
01:54not too bad and definitely good for getting out and about throughout this weekend so do hope you enjoy

02:06a fine start on Monday but then things break down from the south and west low pressure returns to bring
02:12more rain in the form of showers and potentially some thunderstorms as well so a bit of an unsettled
