00:40So this is the day we collected Moki
00:45She was this tiny little puppy
00:48And this is us bringing her to meet our other dog, Kobe
00:51For the first time

01:03She was really brave with him
01:13On day 2, we took Moki straight to puppy training class
01:16We knew Dobermans can be a handful
01:18So we wanted to start training her from as early as possible
01:21The first thing we tried to teach her was touch
01:23We wanted her to touch my hand but not bite it
01:27She wasn't really getting it
01:28So we started using this thing instead

02:01Day 3 was a lot of exploring for Moki
02:03And stealing Kobe's toys
02:06I think she's not used to this floor
02:16We got Moki this slow feeder and then quickly realised her snout isn't long enough yet to fit in it
02:21So we hand fed her
02:23We made sure we touched her lots whilst eating and stopped her from eating to help stop any food aggression

02:32And then we had a family nap
02:35Day 5 was when Moki really started to come out of her shell
02:38And also annoyed Kobe
02:39We were starting to see the first signs of how crazy this dog is going to be

03:03One week in now and her teething started to get real bad
03:11Day 8 we started practising her recall a little bit
03:13And we were also waking up every night at 3am to let this dog go to the toilet
03:18She was getting really good at it though
03:21Day 9 we were back in puppy class
03:23We were teaching Moki the word come
03:38The next trick we were teaching her is sit and then she got distracted
03:41But she is a puppy so it's all good

04:57Day 10, the 3am toilet breaks were still happening.
05:06Day 11, she started eating trees and we made a paparito.
05:19Day 12, the chaos started and it was the first mistake we made.
05:25She started chewing on things she shouldn't have.
05:27At the start, we kind of let her get away with it because it was so cute, but we should
05:32have been stricter with her.
05:38Day 13 was her first time outside to go and see the world.
05:41She hadn't had her second jab yet so we didn't want to put her on the ground and I know

05:45probably can go on the ground but we just thought it wasn't worth risking.
05:52Day 15, she really started to give us a lot of affection and love.
06:01She also just kept walking under Kobe.
06:03I don't know, I found it funny.
06:09And this here is the start of Moki annoying Kobe for the next couple days.

06:24Day 18, getting told off for going for his food.
06:28And this is the next mistake I made.
06:31I thought this was so cute and funny that Moki would chase the mop but even to this day,
06:35we now can't mop the floors because she thinks it's a game.
06:38At the time, it seemed like such a good idea but do not play with the mop with your puppy.
06:43Day 20, we watched ride along together and day 21, we first introduced Moki to the hoover
06:49and it went something like this.
07:21Day 23, me being an idiot with the mop again and Moki gets her very first ice cube.
07:34Day 26, we get to see Moki's destructive side again as she tries to destroy her blanket.

07:51The next day, it's the first time we see how fearful she is of new things.

08:21day 28 she watched some YouTube and then fell asleep in Kobe's bed
08:29day 29 we dressed her up in this adorable Christmas outfit Kobe thought she was a toy
08:33and this yelp you're about to hear yeah that one she does that a lot throughout the video
08:41day 31 she got told off by Kobe again and day 32 she really started to come out her shell
08:48and it was her first ever zoomies
09:12day 33 she tried to eat Kobe's tail day 34 she did her yelp again
09:22she really is a big crybaby
09:28day 35 cuddled up with Kobe day 36 got told off by Kobe day 37 sat on Kobe
09:35and day 38 was her first ever walk where we put her on the ground
09:42she was still learning to socialize with other dogs you can see she's a bit nervous
09:46but it was just gonna take some getting used to
10:02we were practicing her recall and it wasn't long until we let her off the
10:05lead I actually like to let my dogs off the lead from a really early age as long
10:10as it's safe it's really a personal preference but I don't want to keep her
10:13going to lead until she's six months because by the time she's that age she's
10:17gonna be super curious and is a lot more likely to run off because she'll be a
10:20lot more confident while she's a bit nervous and unsure she's more likely to
10:24come back to us come on come on come on yes she met a golden retriever and you can
10:31see she's kind of nervous but she does start to get her confidence up
10:39and then she meets another puppy this was super interesting she wasn't
10:43not so sure at first but as soon as Kobe came over you can see how much more
10:46confident she is

10:52then they played like crazy
10:54I think she can tell that he's a puppy that's like because she's been a bit
10:59scared but because because it was act so much like a puppy yeah they don't want to play like this
11:13day 40 we took her to a restaurant this was just to get her used to being in
11:17environments where she needs to chill out now having Kobe here to show her how to
11:21do it was a massive help day 45 was family day we had dinner together and then
11:26chilled out with some Netflix in the evening
11:36day 50 we took her to a park where we knew there'll be loads of dogs she was a
11:40lot more wary of bigger dogs so this kind of socialization was perfect for her
12:02she followed Kobe but was really good because if he went too far she would come back to us and
12:08here is our second mistake I praise her for jumping this becomes a problem later on in this video
12:14day 63 we went to a dog festival and this is how hard it is to get a puppy to

12:24this is again where we saw she was really cautious over anything new
12:28we knew then we needed to expose her to as much as possible

15:20We also got Mookie a ball pit and hid a bunch of treats in it.
15:23It's like a massive snuffle mat.
15:25These kind of things are amazing stimulation for the dogs and is a great way to tie them out.

15:54Well, we found the new use for the ball pit. New bed for Mookie.
16:01Day 103, she was really confident with Kobe now, would even challenge him sometimes and also play with his toy.

17:08Day 126, we decided to surprise Moki with a pull.
17:11We were really trying to expose her to as many things as possible and Kobi loved swimming
17:16so we wanted her to be as confident as possible in the water.
17:35She didn't really know what to do and didn't look like she was enjoying it that much so
17:38I tried to make it as fun as possible so that it was a good experience for her.

18:13Day 128, we decided to test out if the pull worked and we took her on a water walk
18:17to see if she would go in.
18:42And day 132, we took her to an even bigger water walk and I've never seen her enjoy water
18:48so much.
18:49It was good to see that exposing her to water helped her overcome her fear of it.

23:07It may seem cute and funny, but if she's jumping on someone older, it can be a big problem.
