00:05I mean, can they be a contender in the postseason to get something done?
00:09Because they seemingly have a lot of lineup, a lot of talent in that lineup right now.
00:14And their pitching is starting to come around.
00:16Are you a buyer in the Cubs?
00:17You think they could be a player in the playoffs?
00:20When you have somebody like PCA who's having just a Mike Trout prime-esque year, anything's possible, right?
00:28And ultimately, he's fun to watch, isn't he?

00:34He's one of those few players, because when you look at a guy like a James Wood who's having a
00:38breakout year with the bat,
00:39you look at his defense, and it's like, oh, well, he's given some of those home runs back, right?
00:43Like, he's just such a butcher out there.
00:46PCA is taking runs off the board and then adding three more when he flips to the other side.
00:51It's just incredible.
00:52And I'm a Cardinals guy, so it's tough for me to say that.
00:54And I hope this isn't the long-term picture, but PCA in this vacuum right now has been absolutely incredible.
01:01And you want to talk about their pitching, too.
01:03Ben Brown, Cade Horton, two of the guys who were projected at the top end of this rotation.
01:08And Ben Brown was phenomenal before his injury this season.
01:11They're slated to get back into the mix here in relatively short fashion.
01:15This team down the stretch is only going to get better, and truly, they've been awesome.
01:20Rob, who do you think wins the American League West?

01:27I mean, Seattle, we talked about them bumping around a little bit, like bumper cars.
01:30I mean, but who comes out of that West, in your opinion?
01:35Yeah, it's kind of crazy because when you look at the Mariners on paper,
01:39it feels like they potentially have the best on-paper-looking roster.
01:42But when you look up at the scoreboard every single night, I mean, they can't even score one run,
01:47is kind of what it feels like.
01:49And even with them bringing up Cade Anderson, who I'm super, super excited about watching today,
01:54how does that help kind of their push for the postseason?
01:57Not very much.
01:58They've been getting it done from the pitching element for the most part.
02:02It's really just been the bats that have been holding them back.
02:04I don't expect that to change.
02:06And so that makes it a two-headed race between the Rangers-Astros.
02:10Rangers have, I think, the highest floor of the two teams.
02:12The Astros have the much, much better offensive firepower.
02:16So it's going to be kind of, you know, which one potentially gives down the stretch.
02:20As the temperatures cool down, as the launching pads decrease,
02:23I tend to think it's going to favor pitching a little bit more.
02:26Give me the edge with the Rangers long-term here.
02:30You know, Rob, I look at both the Braves and Milwaukee, and I go, man, what great years they're having.
02:34Look at the one lost column for them.
02:36And then I say, well, there's the Dodgers still.
02:39Any one of those teams, if you were to pick of those two teams, Braves or Milwaukee,
02:44who could push the Dodgers the most?
02:48I would say right now it's Milwaukee because the Dodgers offense has been abysmal for the most part of the
02:53last three months.
02:55And if it's going to be a low-scoring affair type series, the Brewers have the pitching.
02:59The Braves really do not.
03:01Go ahead and give me the Brewers with the best chance to pick off the Dodgers in that NL race.
