00:01Paul, 4-2 defeat against Billerick, any thoughts on this afternoon in the game?
00:05Yeah, it's a strange afternoon, frustrating afternoon and beating in the end.
00:10It was a real good start, got yourself in front with a lovely goal and it was a quick one
00:15-two.
00:16They got the equaliser from the set-piece and then it was a counter-attack almost straight away, wasn't it?
00:20Yeah, I think they counter-attacked us quite a lot before the goal.
00:24It was making stupid errors, getting us caught on the counter.
00:28But yeah, we got in front and we thought we'd cut the errors out and be in control of the
00:33game.
00:34And then we've just had a crazy ten minutes where the defending was abysmal.
00:38It is that ten minutes that ultimately decided the game, really, because you were 1-0 up after half an
00:43hour
00:43and then they've scored three goals in those ten minutes before half-time, haven't they?
00:46Yeah, the 20 for them, Raph, was running the show.
00:49They just decided to step off him every time and he just dictated what he wanted to do with passes.
00:55So, yeah, real disappointed, especially, you know, the messages to go tight and they keep dropping off.
01:03So, they're not listening to me or I'll have to change them.
01:06And you said it was sort of that rapid counter-attack, wasn't it?
01:08That was, you know, twice the second and third goals, they were just sliced through quick.
01:12Yeah, you know, pretty much all game. It was sort of the same over and over again.
01:15And they couldn't pick out.
01:18Half-time, obviously, I'm guessing you're a bit angry, obviously, after what happened at the end of the half.
01:22What was the message going into that second half?
01:24Yeah, you know, I let them know it weren't good enough on that side of it.
01:29But the funny thing was, you know, I felt we were in the game and could turn the game around.
01:35And we mostly scored one of the goals of the season, but it counts for nothing because we couldn't follow
01:40on from it.
01:42Yeah, I mean, you're not probably going to take too much from it because as a result of both goals,
01:45you know,
01:45Dad's a bit of magic to play in Sam and then the second goal, that pass and move, you know,
01:49Aaron Dean and Jack and then Dad's to finish, they're both lovely goals, weren't they?
01:52Yeah, yeah, great goals, but, you know, you can see poor goals.
01:57But, yeah, just frustrating, you know, two, I think there's two big moments in the game as well.
02:01Come in, the striker's got a go, he's sent in front of the red guard.
02:06The elbow across Lewis head, the line's been five yards away from it,
02:09and the referee, and they can't get that right in the state of his eye.
02:13And then the goal at the end, the sucker punch, to make it 4-2, you know,
02:16the referee's run in front of Spong and stopped him from getting the ball.
02:20And they've gone through and scored.
02:22Yeah, I mean, you kind of almost answered the next question now.
02:24I was going to say, obviously, yeah, the last goal, Jack's sort of got blocked there, hasn't he, on the
02:27way.
02:27And then, Louis, he's had to come off with that knock, hasn't he?
02:29He's quite a nice one, yeah.
02:31Yeah, he's always closed up, you know.
02:33The linesman said his hand touched his face.
02:36He's either got a really strong hand or he's just not seen it, which obviously he's not seen it.
02:41Yeah, I was going to say, I presume they just didn't see it,
02:42but obviously from what he's saying there, it sounds like they did.
02:45I don't know, yeah, I don't know how they come to that conclusion, you know, he's give it.
02:48They can see the state of his eye come up straight away, it's pretty much closed.
02:52He was frustrated from a tackle that he didn't get, and then he's done him on the throwing.
02:57Basic, simple officiating, but got missed.
03:01Obviously, that's come off, that's swollen up,
03:02and you're now going to have to wait for that to obviously go back down, aren't you, now?
03:06Yeah, go back down, and hopefully there's nothing like broken in there, like the size of it.
03:10So, maybe the next way you'll have to determine that.
03:13But yeah, we know we've got to move on.
03:14And Brandon, obviously, dropping out in the warm-up, nothing too serious, do you know yet?
03:18He felt his fire on Tuesday, just at the top, and during the week he thought we were all right.
03:24He'd done a bit yesterday, and he'd come in and felt okay,
03:27and just as he opened up with the balls, he sort of could feel it a little bit,
03:32so we thought we weren't going to skip.
03:34Obviously, a good win at Slough on Tuesday.
03:36And now you've got a week to prepare for Horsham,
03:38and it's going to obviously be thick and fast for Horsham,
03:40and then Torky on the Monday, isn't it?
03:43Yeah, we'll have a good week trying to put things right,
03:46and then quick back-to-back games.
