00:06So I thought why not try this with Kobe, but there is one problem
00:09We don't own a baby duck. So the goal is simple find a baby duck for Kobe to me
00:14But how well, I've got a three-step plan to try and make this happen step one try local rescue
00:20centers
00:21Step two post in Facebook groups and see if anyone owns a baby duck step three reach out to local
00:27farms and petting zoos
00:28Let's start with step one. So I simply googled rescue centers near me and we have ended up here
00:34Let's just go inside and see if they've got some baby ducks. I was wondering if you had any baby
00:38ducks here
00:39I just wanted to see if you do like a meet and greet with the dog
00:44So the first rescue center said no, but we still have one more to go and try
00:48We're currently standing outside our second rescue center and we're going to tell them it's for a youtube video
00:52And we're happy to shine some light on this rescue center to help them out
00:57That's some baby ducks
00:58We only do dogs, cats, rabbits and babies
01:00So the rescue centers were a no-go
01:02Where are these people getting these baby ducks from?
01:05Next we're going to go home and try posting in some Facebook groups
01:08Facebook is known for being a weird and wonderful platform
01:11For example, take a look at this half a cheeseburger for sale for two dollars
01:16So strange, but we've got a very simple plan
01:18I'm going to reach out to my local community and simply ask anybody has any ducks
01:23Okay, so I found one of my local communities and this one has got 4,000 members in it
01:28So I was just scrolling through and people in here seem really nice

02:54Okay, so this time I'm going to do things a little bit differently
02:57The first thing I'm going to ask is if they've got any baby ducks

03:07So we tried all the local animal centres and petting zoos
03:10And not one baby duck
03:12This isn't going so well
03:13So we've had no success with the rescue centres
03:16And also no local farms even had baby ducks
03:19I guess this whole video now depends on someone reaching out on Facebook
03:22But you don't want to see us waiting around
03:24So I made this montage of everything Kobe got up to in the past week for you to enjoy

03:46Hi JJ, I've got two cats, a forever puppy and currently three ducklings which are three weeks old

04:18Typically he's not great with cats
04:20It would more be the ducks
04:21Because when he sees a cat sort of like across the road or something
04:23He does want to go over to it
04:24What he actually wants to do that I'm not sure
04:26You know, I don't want to promise you that say for example he won't go for it
04:29Because obviously I don't know exactly how he's going to react

04:32Even sort of like the whole time I probably wouldn't let Kobe off the lead at any time

04:58Just to get him used to being around small animals

05:09Hopefully it should be okay when he goes to meet the baby ducks

05:27Jagger and Sienna let us come in and meet her baby ducks
05:31They even had a dog called Teddy
05:33But Kobe, not surprisingly, was more interested in the ducks
05:36Friends, not food
05:38So after lots of sniffing and intense watching
05:41Kobe started to calm down a bit
05:42So I think it's time for the moment of truth
05:44I had no idea how he was going to react
05:47But he seems pretty calm
05:53Jagger and Sienna have also named the ducks
05:55This is Banana, Biscuit and Coco
05:59Oh yeah, she also had a cat called Fifi
06:02Also, Kobe's first time meeting a cat up close and personal
06:08I had a good, firm hold of Kobe
06:10But didn't want to hold him too tight
06:12Because it would have made him nervous
06:13We got him to lay down and just take it all in
06:23And then we brought a duck to him
06:25And what happened?
06:28Okay, so Kobe made one little mistake
06:30But he did calm down again after
06:32And even laid down with Jagger and Sienna
