09:54But in the end of August, Stalin was like, the war is going to end.

09:58We need the land grab.

09:59And they grabbed this island chain right here.

10:59The first big military exercise, naval exercise.

11:02And they lose a nuclear submarine.

11:05So, naturally, what they do is they try to hide it up.

11:07At the first hours of the exercise, it was, it exploded.

11:10Torpedo exploded in it.

11:11It was an accident.

11:12They were like, no, don't talk about it.

11:14They're going to be fine.

11:16They denied it, much like with the Chernobyl accident in 86.

11:19Six hours go by.

11:21Then they start to search for the submarine only then.

11:24And four days go by.

11:26They don't find it.

11:27And they accept Norwegian and British help in finding it.

11:31And when they finally find it, everybody's dead.

11:34So, that's Kursk for you.

12:01And now he is in Sakhalin and Kuril Islands for the anniversary, 12th of August,

12:06for the 26th anniversary of the sinking of the Kursk submarine.

12:12So, let's see what he has to say.

12:14By the way, he says this stuff here on a very specific ship.

12:20The connections are eerie to Ukrainian war right now.
