00:13And you've got Clay Holmes, newly acquired Clay Holmes,
00:17going for the Cubs here tonight.
00:19But Brandon Fott has been out of this world
00:22since being called up from that little AAA split.
00:25Worked on the mechanics, worked on some mixing up the pitches
00:29and the results, I think, speak for themselves here.
00:32I think Arizona is worth a look here tonight at home in a bounce-back spot.
00:37I really agree with that.
00:39And you're getting a really good price on them for just straight-up money line.
00:45You're getting them at minus, what is this, plus 100, minus 105,
00:49depending on where you do your shopping thereabouts.
00:51But he has been great over the last 30 days.
00:54Fott, this is 33.1 innings pitch.
00:56He only has 6.48 Ks per nine, which is a little bit low,
01:00but he induces a lot of medium contact.
01:02He's getting those ground balls.
01:03His ERA is at 135.
01:05And, you know, he's doing his job and bringing a whole lot of stability
01:08to the Diamondbacks' rotation, which they desperately need.
01:12And, yes, the Cubs' bats have been absolutely on fire.
01:16Over the last 30 days versus righties, they're coming in with a 260 average.
01:20They're essentially a top-10 offense versus righties over the last 30 days,
01:25the Cubs, this is.
01:26But I will take Fott at a plus-money price, essentially, at home in a bounce-backs.
01:30Because not only the Diamondbacks haven't been good,
01:32they're in the thick of the NO wild-card race.
01:35I will take them at near-even money in a coin-flip game.
01:40Interesting that they had a deal in place with the Mets to acquire Clay Holmes
01:46at the trade deadline.
01:47That was 86th last minute, right?
01:50Because I guess there was some concern about the minor leaguer
01:54that the Diamondbacks were going to use in that trade.
01:58And it was basically they backed out at the last second.
02:02Instead, he ends up on his way to Chicago.
02:05But he would have been good for Arizona as well.
02:09But I think Brandon Fott has just been – he's been really, really good.
02:13And I think the Cubs' bats, as hot as they have been,
02:18good pitching beats good hitting, I think, any day of the week.
02:21And at that price, at home, in a bounce-back spot, yep, I'll do it.
02:26Not to mention Clay Holmes.
