00:00Where you came from 1-0 down, how much confidence does that give you that you can repeat that here?
00:06We always give confidence, but yes, right now we are focused on tomorrow match and yes.
00:17And given how challenging the pitch was when England last played here against New Zealand,
00:22I don't know if you've had a look at it and has that sort of changed your preparation at all?
00:26I saw the pitch when I'm coming here, I think a little bit of grass on it.
00:31But let's see in the end tomorrow, might be a different ball game, different pitch, maybe cut the grass.
00:38I've not spoken with the groundmen, but right now it's grass on it.
00:43And finally, touring sides always seem to raise their performance when they come and play at Lords.
00:48How special is it to play here?
00:50It's always special when we, as a team and as a player, we have come here.
00:55It's an honour to play here in the Lords.
00:58So, yeah, we're looking forward.
01:01But Majd, could you just tell us in English as well that you're fully fit, you feel entirely ready for
01:07the Test match?
01:08You're not 50-50?
01:10Yesterday, I had a couple of practice sessions.
01:14Again, after that, I'm going to my practice session and just 90% I'm fitted for tomorrow match and the
01:20rest of the series.
01:21And in terms of the squad, how disappointed were the guys last week with the way they performed?
01:29Was it, in your estimation, was it not the level of this Pakistan team?
01:33Yes, I think we're not playing up to the mark, but credit to England team, the way he's playing.
01:42But after that, we sit together and discuss our mistakes and then we just forget that things and looking forward
01:49to the tomorrow match.
01:51Just believe on yourself and just play a good cricket.
01:55And what personally, how personally do you think you can impact the performance, whether it be as a batter, as
02:02a captain, as a leader?
02:03How do you hope to have an impact on the team?
02:05Look, always when you lead the Pakistan team, especially in this ground, it's an honour for me and I do
02:12my best in the ground, on the field, as a captain and when I'm coming batting.
02:18So just play my game.
02:21Thanks so much.
