00:31Get mad at Deshaun Watson for doing what he did on Saturday afternoon.
00:34Well, and the fans would rather see Shador.
00:37They're going to voice their displeasure.

00:44The backup quarterback, I sent somebody else, I go,

00:54Backup QBs are a big damn deal here in Cleveland, Ohio,
00:56because usually our starting quarterbacks end up sucking up the room.

01:02And then Deshaun Watson did what he did on Saturday.
01:05So there were a bunch of people who were Browns fans,
01:08just regular Browns fans.
01:10And they're going, man, this quarterback,
01:12you guys sit here and call this thing a competition.
01:14This is a race to the bottom.
01:16These are both terrible.
01:17And we had heard that for months.
01:19And hey, you know what?
01:20Maybe you were right.
01:21Didn't think you were totally wrong,
01:22but, you know, we'll see where it goes.
01:24And then Deshaun said what he said on Saturday
01:28and showed his ass to the entire fan base.
01:31And then he tried to walk it back a little bit,
01:33even though the guys who corrected me yesterday,
01:35you were right.
01:36Guys on social media, my own boss at Fox,
01:38they go, Kenny, you didn't apologize for nothing.
01:40I go, no, that's true.
01:42But when he did what he did,
01:44even the people who were like, this is ridiculous,
01:46these crazy Shador fans,
01:47these people saying all these nasty things to Anthony,
01:50these nasty things to me.
01:52No, now they're all in on Shador.
01:54After what Deshaun Watson did?
01:55You've been through how much, for how long?
01:58Watching other teams get their guy and do what they did.

02:55And whether that was just an immature thing
02:57or was that just a lighthearted moment?

03:02I mean, it was kind of funny to me.
03:03But are they going to be seeking him out?
03:06And is it up to him now to kind of get out of there?

04:38And, you know, he was certainly a likable character.
04:41But nobody thinks that even the most ardent Browns fan
04:46who can't stand the circus, can't stand the craziness,
04:50can't stand that, you know, Shador Sanders,
04:52who was the Browns' fifth-round pick,
04:54has a sea of fans who are so ardent and so strong-willed for him
05:02and will attack online anybody who dares say anything negative about him.
05:08That changed on Saturday.
05:09That changed.
05:11They are full-on now.
05:13Get this other guy out of here.

05:16I heard the promo, too.
05:17They made it a promo yesterday when you said for the first time
05:19you think people are going to actively root against him.
05:22And I couldn't say you were wrong
05:24because I think they just want to move on from this.
05:26They don't think he's going to do very well,
05:28and they don't want anybody being tricked into making any bad decisions,
05:31meaning ownership, meaning Andrew Barry, anything.
05:33Like, I have no faith that he's going to do well.
05:36I don't think I can name a Browns fan who thinks that he's going to do well.
05:39Now, I bet as we get closer to September 13th,
05:41some people will come around and go,
05:44you know, maybe we got a little bit of hope for this season and the other.
05:49But there's going to be very, very few.
05:50Far fewer than there ever have been.
05:54And you got a backup quarterback there
05:56that is immensely popular outside of Cleveland.
05:59And while Cleveland fans might have been annoyed over,
06:03when are we going to get a real quarterback?
06:04When are we going to finally stop this?
06:05When are we going to really go in this direction?
06:08Yeah, after what Deshaun Watson did on Saturday,
06:13now it's made him even more of a talking point.
06:16So, yeah, if I were to say anything, it's like,
06:18yeah, if you don't want to be discussed,
06:22you're still going to be discussed because you're the backup,
06:23but if you don't want to be cornered by the media,
06:25because I can't control what they do in the locker room,
06:30probably go hide out in the trainer's room.
06:33Until you start, which will probably be week three.
06:36And honestly, I think last year he kind of already had gotten a crash course in this.
06:43And so I don't think that there will be any issue.
06:46And he just knows.
06:48Like, I think everybody in this corner is telling him,

09:11of one to a hundred, a two in training camp, and Shador Sanders was a ninety-nine.
09:15And yet, people that were actually there every single day, people that have talked to Brown
09:20staffers, people that have talked to the teams they went up against in either the joint
09:24practice, they're all like, no, Deshaun Watson was better.
09:27So what reality are we living in?
09:29And I think we're just, we're rooting so hard that we won't accept the reality and then we'll
09:34throw things like ego and hubris and say they're trying to be the smartest people in the room
09:38when maybe Deshaun Watson was just better.
09:41When he clocked in to the time he clocked out every single day, maybe, just maybe, he was
09:46just better.
09:47Does that mean that he's going to be better once the actual games start?
09:51I don't think he will be.
09:53I think Shador will be better.
09:54But that's not how they make the decisions.
09:57They're making the decisions.
09:58I mean, I guess you should project a little bit, but they don't think that Shador Sanders

11:26Brennan Sorsby, Lenora Sellers, Byron Brown, and Drew Mestemaker.
11:30Now I'm taking Sorsby out and I'm putting Darian Mensah in.
11:35And you have called me out on this going, Ken's always right because he doesn't like anybody.
11:40He's afraid of everybody.
11:41And it's not that I'm afraid.

12:54He's done something immensely unpopular.

13:00What if Shador Sanders comes in week three, week four, whatever, and he looks good?

13:27Fans will just say you doomed the season with a quick two losses and bad quarterback play
13:33that you could have avoided had you just started him right off the bat.

13:38I can't make that argument that he's helped out Shador Sanders by not starting him right off the rip
13:42with a new offensive line.
13:43You can make the winning argument.

13:45It'll be a losing argument.

13:47Fans will just be like, you wasted our time for two weeks.
13:50They don't believe.
13:52Fans do not believe that guys are getting better without just playing football and throwing passes.
13:57But I was calling in earlier saying they agreed with me that I made a lot of sense.

14:03It's like, yeah, there's guys that we consider saviors, but you still need all these other
14:08things that I've highlighted.
14:09There are people who agreed.
14:11So if we still need all these things that we highlighted, well, it will make guys in my
14:17secondary better to have a little bit of experience before week three.

14:21Before week three, before Shador Sanders takes over.
14:24It will make an offensive line that is all free agents and a rookie and possible one more rookie.
14:31Maybe it should make them better to have some experience before Shador, should it not?

14:44believes is best for Shador Sanders, as well as I think Sean Watson and his football team.

15:27In their mind, Shador was always way up here.

15:30So they don't know what to do with saying somebody worked hard and developed and there's
15:34been good coaching.

15:36In their mind, Shador should have been the second or maybe even the first overall pick
15:40in last year's draft.
15:41He's always been better than Cam Ward.
15:42And by the way, Cam has looked rough in the preseason.
15:45But they've always believed that.
15:47So they will not want to seed that maybe he actually got coached up.
15:53To me, it's like maybe he took good coaching.
15:55Maybe he's coachable.
15:57Like, I don't think that's a negative.
15:58Wouldn't the most QB desperate team in the NFL not lie about these things if they need

17:26calls in who are listening as Shador fans.
17:28Like, if you couldn't see it, I can't help you.
17:31I hope he does well, but can't help you.
17:34And I hate that Deshaun Watson has won it, but I was ready and prepared for him to win the
17:39job and he won the job.
17:41And he'll probably not be very good.
