00:00:26Raymond Taylor, how can you remember?
00:00:30How could she not?
00:00:32That was the last time the three of us came here together.
00:00:35We have to call 911 because your braces got stuck to him.
00:00:39Oh, it was so horrible.
00:00:40I can still remember the pieces of chili cheese dog trap between us.
00:00:45Oh, but speaking of chili cheese dogs, I'm hungry.
00:00:47Let's get something to eat.
00:00:51That's when I realized I've never had a friend try to set me up with one of their friends.
00:00:55Should I be scared to find out why?
00:00:57Maybe I should be offended.
00:00:58I did try and set you up.
00:01:00The seventh grade doesn't count.
00:01:03Don't worry, you're going to meet someone.
00:01:04Besides, we can't all be as lucky as Helen here and be a stay-at-home mom with a perfect
00:01:08husband
00:01:09and a pair of slightly spoiled but adorable kids.
00:01:12Who are in need of a little brother or sister.
00:01:16You and Brian better get to work on that.
00:01:17Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
00:01:18One boy and one girl is just right for me.
00:01:20Next.
00:01:21Hi, can I get a single cheeseburger?
00:01:24Wait, no.
00:01:24Make that a double.
00:01:26Uh, corn dog, uh, extra large fries and an extra large drink.
00:01:30Oh, can I also get some chili cheese fries and an extra large strawberry shake?
00:01:34Is that for all of us or just you?
00:01:37Me.
00:01:37Oh.
00:01:38What?
00:01:39I'm hungry.
00:01:41Can you make that a triple cheeseburger?
00:01:45You want to finish that?
00:01:48Enjoy.
00:01:49Thanks, man.
00:01:51Ooh, look at her.
00:01:53Gorgeous.
00:01:55Do you ever stop?
00:01:57If you were a transformer, you'd be Optimus fine.
00:02:03Have any of your lines actually worked?
00:02:05I swing and miss often.
00:02:07I've been in professional baseball.
00:02:08Getting to hit three out of ten times is considered an excellent average, my friend.
00:02:12Uh-huh.
00:02:13I'm so happy.
00:02:16Anyway, it's...
00:02:16Oh, I see where you're looking.
00:02:18All right.
00:02:18Now, the question is, are you going to step up to the plate or are you going to watch from
00:02:23the stands?
00:02:24You're embarrassing.
00:02:25No, this is a momentous occasion.
00:02:27I can't remember the last time you even looked at a woman.
00:02:30Not since Jessica.
00:02:32Yeah.
00:02:36That is...
00:02:38I know.
00:02:42Where are the kids today?
00:02:44Um, if I took a day off to be with them, the kids wanted them to bring them here, but
00:02:47I knew that somehow they'd find me and I'd be covered in dirt and food.
00:02:51You're doing a pretty good job all on your own.
00:02:54Hmm.
00:02:55So, how's work?
00:02:56Same as always.
00:02:57Haven't you been stuck there for five years?
00:02:59I wouldn't put it that way.
00:03:01It's a job and it's study.
00:03:02Plus, I'm even getting a promotion soon.
00:03:05No, that's awesome.
00:03:06I couldn't sit in front of a computer all day.
00:03:08But a computer and information systems manager sounds important, right?
00:03:12Mm-hmm.
00:03:14I really don't think I would change a thing in my life.
00:03:17Everything's great.
00:03:18Nothing would.
00:03:20It's metal.
00:03:21I just didn't picture you single and sitting in front of a computer at this point in your life.
00:03:26You know, not that there is anything wrong with that.
00:03:29Well, what did you picture her life to be like then?
00:03:31I don't know.
00:03:33Married?
00:03:33Maybe a kid or two?
00:03:35Working as a nurse?
00:03:36You used to carry Band-Aids around in your pockets growing up.
00:03:39I did want to become a nurse.
00:03:40And not everyone has the goal of getting hitched, Helen.
00:03:43I'm not saying she should be married.
00:03:45I'm just saying I thought she would be.
00:03:49Well, like I said, I'm happy just the way things are.
00:03:56You guys have a chance of all of us.
00:03:58Now's your chance.
00:03:58Here they come.
00:04:00Mm-mm.
00:04:00No, no, no, no, no.
00:04:01You're not going to say anything?
00:04:02Mm-mm.
00:04:03Sorry, man.
00:04:04I got you.
00:04:05Well, it's handy that I brought my library card
00:04:07because I'm totally checking you out.
00:04:10Was that addressed to all three of us?
00:04:12Or did you feel like singling one of us out?
00:04:14Because she's married, she's unavailable,
00:04:17and I'm not interested.
00:04:20Well, tell me this.
00:04:21Are you religious?
00:04:22Because you are the answer to my prayers.
00:04:26I'll start praying for you to disappear.
00:04:29Ooh, ouch.
00:04:31Come on, you guys.
00:04:32You should be ashamed of yourselves.
00:04:33I take no part in this.
00:04:35I imagine you two should be here working,
00:04:37not wasting taxpayer money hitting on the guests.
00:04:40Well, hang on.
00:04:41I think you misunderstood.
00:04:42No, you're done.
00:04:44Why don't you keep an eye on him?
00:04:48Have a good day.
00:04:52What?
00:04:53Come on.
00:04:54You are vicious.
00:04:56Honest is all.
00:04:58Unavailable.
00:04:59Well, unavailable to them, yes.
00:05:01Allison.
00:05:03Me?
00:05:04I have been expecting you.
00:05:08Come here.
00:05:10Come here.
00:05:11Do you know her?
00:05:20Really?
00:05:21Are we doing this?
00:05:22Come on.
00:05:31Come on.
00:05:33Which one of you would be liking to go first?
00:05:37Sure.
00:05:38Why not?
00:05:43Your poem.
00:05:51I see green aventurine with dark brown stones.
00:06:01Tiger's eye and black obsidian.
00:06:06And I am coming to a divide.
00:06:10One side feels intense and will become successful.
00:06:18You will innovate, adapt, and grow.
00:06:23Other side will decline.
00:06:28A challenging assignment will likely give you opportunity to prove your mettle.
00:06:35But, you are up to desk.
00:06:39A little vague, but I'll take it.
00:06:42Okay, Mina.
00:06:45Hi.
00:06:49Now, what I'm looking for is peace of mind, um, to be skinnier.
00:06:54And for my husband to be a little more unhuffering.
00:06:57Ouch.
00:06:58Close your eyes.
00:07:02Do not keep things in your heart.
00:07:06Share them with one you love.
00:07:09It will only improve your mutual understanding.
00:07:15What?
00:07:16No.
00:07:17Tiger's blood or stones for me.
00:07:19No colors.
00:07:24Rouge.
00:07:27Double rouge.
00:07:30Heavier times.
00:07:36That's it?
00:07:38That's all I got?
00:07:39It's plenty.
00:07:48Okay, my turn.
00:07:51Destiny has much in store for you.
00:07:54Uh-huh.
00:07:57Speed.
00:07:58Huh?
00:08:02I think she wants you to spit in her hand.
00:08:11Disgusting.
00:08:15The sun, the moon, and the stars are converging.
00:08:22The universe is pushing you to embrace the changes of the three.
00:08:31Stars, shows, you will find a new place to call home.
00:08:38Scales of the moon are imbalanced.
00:08:41And you will need to find a new trade.
00:08:45Something that is closer to your heart.
00:08:47And you will need to find a new wife.
00:08:48And last, the fiery sun urges you to be on the lookout for your soulmate.
00:08:59But a man named Jean, he will be the love of your life.
00:09:11She told me the exact opposite of what I wanted.
00:09:14I asked for skinny, and she tells me heavy.
00:09:16Does that mean I'm going to get fat?
00:09:18I would have been happy if she'd predicted mono.
00:09:21Why did you ask for your husband to be a little more average?
00:09:24Okay, this may sound strange, but sometimes my husband drives me crazy.
00:09:29What?
00:09:30Don't get me wrong, I love Brian, but sometimes he's too perfect, you know?
00:09:37He's just too loving, caring, and...
00:09:39Ugh, that sounds terrible.
00:09:41My heart bleeds for you.
00:09:43Well, at least I'm excited about my fortune.
00:09:45A challenging assignment that will test my mettle.
00:09:48Well, then Allie here gets some other load. What was it?
00:09:50A new home, a trade, must be a job.
00:09:53Oh, and a new man named John.
00:09:55No. No, and please, no.
00:09:57I have an amazing apartment, and my job is secure, and I have no interest in any Johns.
00:10:05All right, go ahead.
00:10:06What do you think she meant by heavy?
00:10:08Oh, don't give it any credence. It's just a way of guesswork.
00:10:11Oh, sorry.
00:10:11Oh, uh, only two at a time, when you're so...
00:10:14If you say big, so help me.
00:10:16When you are an adult.
00:10:19Only two adults per chair.
00:10:22Okay.
00:10:23You guys go ahead, I'll just catch the next one.
00:10:25Okay.
00:10:32Here we go.
00:10:34All right, go ahead.
00:10:35Thanks.
00:10:36Have fun.
00:10:38You ride one of these before?
00:10:40Yeah, they're lots of fun.
00:10:43I'm Allie.
00:10:44I'm John.
00:10:45I'm sorry, did you say John?
00:10:48John Kimball.
00:10:52Guys, you're never gonna guess who I'm up here with.
00:10:55Who's that?
00:10:56My new friend, John Kimball.
00:11:00You see, the predictions are already coming true.
00:11:06Are you afraid of heights?
00:11:09I don't think so.
00:11:14I should probably answer this.
00:11:18Hi, this is Allie.
00:11:21What?
00:11:23How did that happen?
00:11:24Could anything be saved?
00:11:28I understand.
00:11:30Thanks for letting me know.
00:11:33Everything okay?
00:11:36My apartment flooded and there is a lot of damage.
00:11:40How much is a lot?
00:11:42Like, I could charge people admission to come and swim.
00:11:46What?
00:11:51The first part of the fortune.
00:11:53It has to be a coincidence.
00:11:59I could just catch the next one, I guess.
00:12:06I could just catch the next one, I guess.
00:12:11I could just catch the next one, I guess.
00:12:30I can't be good.
00:12:32Don't worry, John.
00:12:40Okay.
00:12:41I've decided I don't like heights.
00:12:43Me neither.
00:12:45You mean, when we're moving, it's one thing, but being stationary is a whole different story.
00:12:56Is that?
00:12:58Yep.
00:13:02Hi.
00:13:03You guys want to come down from there?
00:13:07Yes.
00:13:07Yes, please.
00:13:09Be careful.
00:13:12I've got you.
00:13:19All right, hold on.
00:13:20Mm-hmm.
00:13:35Allie!
00:13:37Allie!
00:13:41Allie!
00:13:42Thank you, Mr.
00:13:44Jeff.
00:13:45We're back on the ground.
00:13:48Right.
00:13:49Oh.
00:13:50Why don't we get you out of here?
00:13:54I'm sorry.
00:13:56Bye.
00:13:58You were so brave.
00:14:02Sean.
00:14:03Sean.
00:14:04Sean Carpenter.
00:14:04Yes, Sean.
00:14:05I am so worried about you.
00:14:08He's stressed eating so bad.
00:14:10Do you want some water?
00:14:12Okay, okay.
00:14:27Hey.
00:14:29Hi.
00:14:29Come in.
00:14:33Oh, thanks for letting me stay.
00:14:35Yeah, of course.
00:14:36Stay as long as you need.
00:14:37Is this it?
00:14:39Pretty much everything I own was ruined in the flood.
00:14:42My clothes, my computer, my furniture, even my toothbrush.
00:14:47Oh.
00:14:49I was planning on donating these to a thrift store, but they've just lived in my trunk for the past
00:14:53several months.
00:14:54Hmm.
00:14:55They smell like they died in your trunk.
00:14:57I'll introduce you to my washing machine later.
00:15:00What are you working on?
00:15:01Oh, a commercial.
00:15:02Oh, what kind of actors are you looking for?
00:15:05Just one happily married couple.
00:15:07I've already found the wife, but I'm still looking for the right actor to play the part of the husband.
00:15:12Everyone I put up on the board, though, just doesn't feel right.
00:15:15The board?
00:15:16Oh, casting board.
00:15:17Basically, photos of all the potential actors.
00:15:20We like to see who looks good together.
00:15:23Oh, it's Helen.
00:15:26Hello?
00:15:27Hey, is Allie with you?
00:15:29I'm right here.
00:15:30Okay, do I need to be the one who says it?
00:15:32Says what?
00:15:33Madam Zoe was right.
00:15:35She got one thing right.
00:15:38There's no way she could have guessed your apartment would flood.
00:15:41I have yet to be presented with something that will test my mettle.
00:15:44I haven't had a production I couldn't cast.
00:15:46Yeah, well, it's only been a few hours.
00:15:48I'd give it time.
00:15:50No way.
00:15:51Besides, I have a promotion coming up at work.
00:15:53I'm even meeting with my bosses about it tomorrow.
00:15:56And you can borrow some of my clothes.
00:15:59So, you see, Helen, you have nothing to worry about.
00:16:02Fine.
00:16:02Bye.
00:16:02Okay, sorry about that.
00:16:05Oh, dear.
00:16:06Elephant got scared and ran away.
00:16:12Hi.
00:16:14Bob.
00:16:15Allie.
00:16:16Harold.
00:16:16Allie.
00:16:17Tina.
00:16:18Allie.
00:16:19New guy.
00:16:23I'm Allie.
00:16:25Have a seat.
00:16:29This is Richard.
00:16:30He's part of a consulting company that helps restructure corporations in transition.
00:16:37Great.
00:16:38I mean, I know this promotion's going to be coming with a lot of changes, but what kind of transition
00:16:43were you talking about here?
00:16:46Downsizing.
00:16:49We're not here to give me my promotion?
00:16:53You promised me this six months ago.
00:16:55I know.
00:16:57But your whole department is going to be consolidated.
00:17:00But through time, hopefully, we can rehire.
00:17:03Well, after the restructure.
00:17:05We need to streamline these services.
00:17:19That good of a day, huh?
00:17:20I got canned.
00:17:22What?
00:17:22Discharged.
00:17:24Axed.
00:17:24Laid off.
00:17:25Furloughed.
00:17:26Let go.
00:17:27Terminated.
00:17:27Just like that.
00:17:28They gave me the option of staying until the end of the week or leaving today.
00:17:33Oh, Allie.
00:17:34I'm so sorry.
00:17:36I should have seen the warning signs.
00:17:38The numerous closed-door meetings.
00:17:40No new hires.
00:17:42Decrease of workloads.
00:17:45Ice cream.
00:17:46Ice cream.
00:17:48It's over.
00:17:49It's the end.
00:17:51I can't go on.
00:17:53Did someone die?
00:17:55No.
00:17:58I'm pregnant.
00:18:01With twins.
00:18:08We're out of tissues.
00:18:10I'll see if I have another box.
00:18:13How far along are you?
00:18:15Almost three months.
00:18:17Do you know what you're having?
00:18:18Boys?
00:18:19Girls?
00:18:20One of each?
00:18:21I have another ultrasound in a few weeks.
00:18:24Do you know what you want?
00:18:26Well, this is all I could find.
00:18:29Well, if you're extra hungry during your pregnancy, you're probably going to be able to
00:18:32be pregnant with a boy, right?
00:18:34That's not proven, is it?
00:18:36By the way, you were chowing down at the carnival the other day.
00:18:38I'd say you have about half a baseball team in there.
00:18:41Do you want to know what the worst part about it is?
00:18:44Huh?
00:18:45Brian is excited.
00:18:47He is genuinely excited.
00:18:50Well, should he not be?
00:18:52I don't want to be the one to say this, but everything Madame Zoe has said is coming true.
00:18:58Madame Zoe said double rouge.
00:19:01Double pink.
00:19:02Maybe you're having twin girls.
00:19:04By heavy, she meant pregnant, not fat.
00:19:07And the first two parts of my fortune have already come true.
00:19:10Needing a new place to live and needing a new job.
00:19:13Wait, what?
00:19:14I lost my job today.
00:19:17We need to speak with Madame Zoe and get this straightened out.
00:19:22It just makes me feel pretty bad trying to reach to his high standards.
00:19:26I mean, I know I'm a good mom, but Brian is always one step ahead of me.
00:19:31And he doesn't do things because he feels like he's better than me.
00:19:33He just wants to help.
00:19:35But it makes me feel bad.
00:19:44I don't think the carnival is open yet.
00:19:48Come on.
00:19:49Hey, Helen.
00:19:50What?
00:19:52Okay.
00:19:53I don't even know how to approach him and ask him to stop or change.
00:19:57I just want him to relax sometimes, you know?
00:20:00Leave the dirty dishes in the sink and forget to help the kids with their homework.
00:20:04Watch lots of TV after coming home from work.
00:20:07It almost sounds like you're asking how to make Brian a worse husband, a less concerned father, and a lazier
00:20:13man.
00:20:20Maybe it wasn't a fortune.
00:20:22It was a curse.
00:20:23Oh my gosh, we've been cursed.
00:20:24We weren't cursed.
00:20:26There was that woman in Florida who got prison time and had to repay 1.6 million to a woman
00:20:29she cursed.
00:20:30Stop trying to convince yourself that we were cursed.
00:20:33Maybe she's inside.
00:20:36Madam Zoe?
00:20:38Madam...
00:20:39Madam Zoe, are you there?
00:20:40Madam Zoe?
00:20:42You have to be in there.
00:20:44Madam Zoe!
00:20:45That's it. I'm going in.
00:20:48What...
00:20:49What are you doing?
00:20:51You see?
00:20:54I could have easily fit through if I wasn't pregnant.
00:20:57You try.
00:20:58That's not a good idea.
00:21:00I'm sorry, but you're smarter than me.
00:21:01I just...
00:21:01We have to speak with her.
00:21:02I'm fine.
00:21:03Alright.
00:21:04Gosh.
00:21:11Oh no.
00:21:13What?
00:21:14I think I'm stuck.
00:21:15How bad?
00:21:17I can't move.
00:21:18Do you want me to push or...
00:21:21Pull.
00:21:21Pull.
00:21:22Okay.
00:21:23Yeah, I'm going to pull.
00:21:24Okay.
00:21:25Yeah.
00:21:26You ready?
00:21:26Mm-hmm.
00:21:29I'm not helping.
00:21:30I'm not helping.
00:21:30I'm not helping.
00:21:31I'm sucking it in.
00:21:31I am sucking it in.
00:21:33Hello again.
00:21:35Hey.
00:21:36How's it going?
00:21:38You okay here?
00:21:39No.
00:21:40Yes.
00:21:41Fine.
00:21:42We don't need any help.
00:21:44Um, you wouldn't happen to know if Madam Zoe is here yet?
00:21:48Oh, I think she won't be back for several weeks.
00:21:50What?
00:21:51Yeah, the carnivals move on to another city.
00:21:53Possibly even out of state.
00:21:54Great.
00:21:55Great.
00:21:56Uh, so what are you doing here?
00:21:57Just here as a safety precaution as everything gets packed up.
00:22:00Uh-huh.
00:22:02Oh, uh, that was really nice of you the other night.
00:22:05Saving that little boy and my friend here.
00:22:08Of course.
00:22:08Happy to go.
00:22:10Yeah.
00:22:11Yeah.
00:22:11You sure you're all right?
00:22:13Yes.
00:22:14Good.
00:22:16Fine.
00:22:16It's nice to see you.
00:22:18Yeah.
00:22:18Again.
00:22:20I'm gonna run.
00:22:22He's super cute.
00:22:23You're just pregnant.
00:22:24Hold on.
00:22:31See what I mean?
00:22:32Not only do kids love him, but apparently all the mothers do here as well.
00:22:38Well, what's not to like?
00:22:39Brooke.
00:22:41Hey, no more complaining about Brian, okay?
00:22:44Just positive things coming from your mouth.
00:22:46You're right.
00:22:47You're right.
00:22:48I'll work on it.
00:22:50So, Madam Zoe is gone?
00:22:52Yeah, for several weeks.
00:22:54What were you planning on saying to her anyway?
00:22:57That we want a refund?
00:22:59Or for her to take back what she said?
00:23:01I think it's a little too late for some things.
00:23:04Well, she should.
00:23:05I mean, I have to start my life completely over.
00:23:08I need to find a new job, a new place to live.
00:23:10I have to buy everything again?
00:23:12It's like I'm starting from scratch.
00:23:16Am I having, like, a mid-mid-life crisis?
00:23:20No.
00:23:21Look on the bright side.
00:23:22At least you're not suffering from pregnancy brain.
00:23:24And apparently my toes have decided to grow alongside my belly.
00:23:28Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my cute shoes.
00:23:30I was positive.
00:23:31Remember, Helen?
00:23:32I thought I was being positive.
00:23:34Madam Zoe said that you will find the love of your life, right?
00:23:37Something like that.
00:23:39Okay.
00:23:39Well, instead of focusing on the negative, let's really do focus on the positive here.
00:23:45What exactly did she say?
00:23:48She said something about looking for my soulmate, his name being John.
00:23:53Okay.
00:23:53That sounds promising to me.
00:23:55A soulmate who will be the love of your life.
00:23:59We can help you.
00:24:00Yes.
00:24:02What do you mean?
00:24:04This could be the challenging assignment.
00:24:06You know, the one where I am to prove my mettle.
00:24:09We can help you on your quest to find the right John.
00:24:12Oh, it'll be perfect.
00:24:13It will keep your mind off of things and it will give you something to do.
00:24:16I do have something to do.
00:24:18I have to find a new job.
00:24:19No one's going to want to date me sleeping on your couch.
00:24:22You search for a new job.
00:24:23And we'll find your John.
00:24:31Hey, I got a new one.
00:24:33Oh, please no.
00:24:33Let me just try it on you.
00:24:37Go on.
00:24:38Fill in my jacket.
00:24:39It's made of boyfriend material.
00:24:42No?
00:24:43That doesn't work.
00:24:44It might be your worst one yet.
00:24:46Okay.
00:24:47Okay, I got another one.
00:24:48You ready?
00:24:48Do I have a choice?
00:24:51Hey, girl.
00:24:52Is your name Wi-Fi?
00:24:54Cause we got a connection.
00:24:57You do realize most women hate pickup lines.
00:25:00Oh, are you the expert on women now?
00:25:02Far from it.
00:25:03Maybe just try saying hello next time.
00:25:05Could work wonders despite its simplicity.
00:25:08This coming from a guy that hasn't been on a date in a year?
00:25:12Or was it two?
00:25:14Got a point.
00:25:15And why is that anyway?
00:25:17I know your heart was broken, but it's had plenty of time to repair itself.
00:25:22You know, I did run into Carnival Girl again.
00:25:26Brown hair?
00:25:27Yellow dress?
00:25:28That's the one.
00:25:29What?
00:25:31And you thinking you like her?
00:25:34I wouldn't mind seeing her again.
00:25:36That's what I'm talking about.
00:25:37Now.
00:25:38Now.
00:25:40What are you going to do about it?
00:25:45All right, ladies.
00:25:46How do we go about this?
00:25:47We'll start by putting together a list of Johns.
00:25:50How many Johns do you know off the top of your head?
00:25:53Two Johns from work.
00:25:55One from the gym.
00:25:56Mailman.
00:25:56I need less names.
00:25:58The two Johns from work are Peebler and Green.
00:26:01And the other two...
00:26:02I don't know.
00:26:04We'll call them Jim John and Mailman John.
00:26:08Oh!
00:26:08My old landlord's name is John.
00:26:10Oh, Landlord John.
00:26:12No.
00:26:13Wait.
00:26:14His name is Steve.
00:26:15Oh.
00:26:16But I do have my list of potential jobs for me.
00:26:19You guys want to hear?
00:26:19Sure.
00:26:21Pharmacist.
00:26:22Lawyer.
00:26:23Dental hygienist.
00:26:25Librarian.
00:26:26Sales.
00:26:27Educator.
00:26:28And nurse.
00:26:29Oh, you're talking a complete career change, not just a new job.
00:26:33I mean, at this point I'm not really sure, but I think something new and different may be just what
00:26:38I need.
00:26:39This is it?
00:26:40Poor names is all you could come up with?
00:26:42That should make finding the right John real easy.
00:26:44Oh, no.
00:26:45Poor names does not cut it.
00:26:47Here's what we'll do.
00:26:48We will all go through our phones and write down anybody with the name John.
00:26:53Hmm.
00:27:01John, hold up.
00:27:04What's this?
00:27:05You can thank me later.
00:27:07Is this...
00:27:08How did you get this?
00:27:09It was with the incident report.
00:27:10She must have left it.
00:27:12Now, she didn't leave a phone number, but I do see her address right there.
00:27:17I don't know.
00:27:18You're the one that said you wanted to get to know her better.
00:27:20And now you have this opportunity of shiverously returning her lost driver's license to her.
00:27:28You can thank me later.
00:27:31To become a librarian, I would need my master's in library and information science, but I can earn that degree
00:27:37100% online.
00:27:39Ally the librarian.
00:27:41Hmm.
00:27:42I don't see it.
00:27:43I guess I could still send out my resume to those looking for an IT manager.
00:27:47John Moyer and John Underwood.
00:27:50That's all of them.
00:27:52How many are on the list now?
00:27:5330?
00:27:5440?
00:27:54Close.
00:27:57187.
00:27:57That's ridiculous.
00:27:59No!
00:28:01You take half and find someone for yourself.
00:28:03No.
00:28:03The fortune was about you.
00:28:05She said nothing about my love life.
00:28:07Why don't you go out for a bit and we can finish this up?
00:28:12Fine.
00:28:14I do need to see if my landlord was able to salvage anything else.
00:28:17Just give us a few hours and we'll have everything ready for you.
00:28:32It wouldn't be considered stalking, would it?
00:28:36I don't know, it's a bad idea, Sean.
00:28:38You should leave.
00:28:39You should definitely leave.
00:28:43No, no, no.
00:28:44You're just returning this to her.
00:28:45You're already here.
00:28:47Might as well knock.
00:28:49Yeah.
00:28:50I can do that.
00:28:51I can do that, Sean.
00:28:54Hey, does Ally Schaefer live here?
00:28:56Are you the insurance adjuster?
00:28:58No, I'm a friend.
00:28:59Oh, she had to move out.
00:29:01Her place.
00:29:02Flooded.
00:29:03Along with most of the rest of the apartments in this building.
00:29:06We'll be at this for a while.
00:29:08If you do see her though,
00:29:10tell her she's not going to be able to move back in for a few weeks.
00:29:14No, no, no.
00:29:22I don't think so.
00:29:24Just give her a kiss.
00:29:28Maybe it's fine.
00:29:29No, no, no.
00:29:35I'll have to come back in.
00:29:35It's okay.
00:29:36I can't do it.
00:29:38I can't do it now.
00:29:41Sometimes I can't do it.
00:29:43hey hey Allie did your friend find you what friend he was just here looking

00:30:48watching where I was going hello again hi it's Allie right yes Sean I remember I promise I'm not
00:30:59usually this accident prone you just seem to catch me at my worst been avoiding ferris wheels at all
00:31:04cost life has been a bit of an adventure since that night in a good way or a bad way
00:31:09well let's
00:31:11see I lost my job my apartment flooded I know and the ferrisville incident all that within 24 hours
00:31:19I'm sorry hopefully that's the worst wait I'm sorry how did you know about my apartment oh um
00:31:27I tried returning this earlier you left it when you're filling out the incident report would have
00:31:33tried calling but we didn't have your number didn't even know this was missing it's a good thing I
00:31:37wasn't pulled over yeah thanks of course well at the rate that we're going I'm sure I'll see you again
00:31:49hope probably see ya bye
00:31:59good news guys I have a job interview for what is all of this
00:32:07it's your casting wall these are the men who are auditioning for your heart
00:32:13is every wall covered pretty much we've numbered all of them and we've put together details for each
00:32:21and every one basically a list of their skills qualifications educations likes dislikes how did
00:32:27you find all of this out you can find out anything you want on the internet now whether it's all
00:32:32true
00:32:32that's a different story go ahead try it out pick a number um
00:32:40117 oh he's a handsome one this is john jeffries he's a martial arts instructor has his own dojo no
00:32:49kids
00:32:50never been married favorite movie is best of the best dislikes pickles mustard and coconuts he is 44 years old
00:32:59no he's not gonna work out was it the pickles no he's too old for me I think like 10
00:33:07years older is
00:33:08my limit okay good to know we can eliminate a bunch by knowing what your requirements are
00:33:13have a seat we will put them all into three categories yes no and maybe and we don't eliminate
00:33:21the maybes there have been plenty of times that somebody out of the maybes has ended up wowing the
00:33:25director and getting the partner so john jeffries is a no what would prevent you from going out with
00:33:31someone I don't know well how important are looks to you not super important but
00:33:39I mean it's a plus if he's attractive is there anyone here on the walls you'd eliminate just by looks
00:33:46uh um I don't know I mean I feel super weird judging all these johns just based on their photos
00:33:56fine we won't eliminate anyone based on looks so 10 years older is the limit can he be younger than
00:34:03you
00:34:03no no one younger than me really not even like a year or just a few months
00:34:10okay someone between 30 and 40 let's see what that does that only eliminates 24
00:34:21they never even got a chance there's still 163 on the list oh I thought of something I would like
00:34:31for
00:34:31them to have a job be financially responsible and not live at home with their parents how much
00:34:40taller than you can he be um eight inches what I don't have to stand on a stool to kiss
00:34:49him
00:34:50so what does that do to the numbers has to be employed not living with parents between
00:34:56five four and six feet anything else I think that's a pretty good start okay that eliminates
00:35:04another 73. 90. that's a great number to start scheduling scheduling your dates 90. don't worry we
00:35:17have a plan am I supposed to be the one contacting these people just the johns you know I'll worry
00:35:23about
00:35:23the other ones I know and Brooke will contact when she knows it's either that or we create a dating
00:35:29profile for you stating that you're looking for a soul mate named john okay your way is better
00:35:35you're doing good buddy just a little further
00:35:40there you are I got you
00:35:47here you go miss geez thanks mister you see that fulfilling your nightly responsibilities
00:35:57oh speaking of how did things go with future mrs carpenter
00:36:00i blew it i didn't ask her out i didn't even ask for her number i never see her again
00:36:05you're just
00:36:06out of practice that's all maybe you'll get another shot oh look at those little feet
00:36:13hmm they sure are wiggly in there feels like they're having a wrestling match
00:36:20let's see if we can find that heartbeat
00:36:23no i read that a higher fetal heartbeat means that you're having a girl
00:36:27how high over 140 what's normal 120 to 160 beats per minute
00:36:40it's so beautiful there's still only two in there right yes two very healthy heartbeats both over 140
00:36:49would you like to know the genders oh no my husband and i would like to find out the same
00:36:53time but he couldn't make it today because he's home with our sick little girl oh well we'll do it
00:36:59next time then if you don't mind me asking how long did it take for you to become an ultrasound
00:37:04tech
00:37:04ah see with school and everything um about four years seems worth it oh definitely
00:37:13well doctor will be in shortly thank you
00:37:17so are you still weighing your career options
00:37:20i've made up my mind that i want to try something completely different the other day when i went
00:37:25to the job interview it was very clear that i'm no longer interested in that field and i think the
00:37:30company could see it too well are you leaning toward anything particular sadly no
00:37:42yes hey make it quick the doctor will be in any minute okay i have everything booked i just sent
00:37:48you
00:37:48over the calendar you have me going out every night this week guys i'm starting to second guess this
00:37:55decision oh you are not backing out now you are committed i'm gonna get fat eating out that much
00:38:01not every day is taking you out to eat and we've put them in charge of what you're going to
00:38:05be doing
00:38:05and we did say no to zero effort men we do not accept coffee or a walk as a suitable
00:38:10date option and
00:38:11neither should you but i like walks you are not a dog and i have an espresso machine at home
00:38:17you
00:38:18know i i think it's all about compatibility when people our age get set and comfortable in their
00:38:24routines we forget how to be around others did you read that somewhere in the magazine in the waiting
00:38:31room guys maybe we should just let a john come into my life instead of forcing it to happen
00:38:39so far the only john that has come into your life naturally he's a kid on a ferris wheel
00:38:43oh gotta go bye hi dr murphy hey john allison schaefer oh my gosh how are you good how are
00:38:54you
00:38:55we knew each other in high school in fact i think that was the last time that i saw you

00:39:00four or five classes together did you hear mr green retired history teacher green after 46 years can you
00:39:06believe that oh helen i'm sorry you and your babies are a priority here how are you feeling oh no
00:39:11you
00:39:12two should catch up maybe over lunch or something i don't i think that's a good idea i'll add him
00:39:18to the list
00:39:25oh this would be a lot easier if you just waited till i was finished but he's gonna be here
00:39:28any minute
00:39:29i know okay got it she's all yours
00:39:36what's wrong aren't you excited i guess i'm a little apprehensive it's been a while since i've
00:39:43been out on a date don't be afraid of rejection besides you're going to be the one doing the
00:39:49rejecting that sounds worse i mean it just doesn't seem fair to everyone else that i'm going to be going
00:39:55out with just have fun if there's something there pursue it if not remember that the date's going
00:40:01to be over in a couple hours and you don't have to see him again if you don't want to

00:43:13he threw for 11 of 24 passes 112 yards
00:43:22if you're choosing to start dating again after a long while then you've got to do when you really
00:43:26feel like you're ready you're probably going to be bringing all of this emotional package with you
00:43:30which is just the worst
00:43:33that sparkle in your eye tells me i'm the only guy who can take your breath away and make you
00:43:42smile
00:43:43i can't decide if i want to set her up with this one or this one

00:45:36actually and happily married you're not married right no no divorced for a few years uh no kids

00:46:02i'm sorry
00:46:04you know we just wanted different things i wanted a family and she wanted a raul her personal trainer
00:46:12you know she would always tell me how exhausting it was for her to tell me all the things that
00:46:17i
00:46:17needed to do and an odd reason you know just tell me what you want me to do and i'll
00:46:20gladly do it
00:46:22she just didn't want to be my mother and
00:46:29you okay
00:46:33john john

00:46:53grab some water
00:47:01hi the date was that bad the date was actually going really well
00:47:08that is until john started choking and i panicked is he okay what happened i wanted to do something but
00:47:16i
00:47:16just froze and did nothing luckily the fireman from the carnival was there and helped him
00:47:22was it the handsome one or bad pickup lines his name is sean and i don't even think i thanked
00:47:30him
00:47:34i don't know what my problem is i was just sitting there staring at her the entire time i mean
00:47:40while she's on a date with another guy i'm just setting myself up for failure what are you doing hi
00:47:49uh ellie
00:47:52hey i gotta go
00:47:55yeah
00:48:01can can i uh
00:48:03i um i wanted to say thank you for saving the guy that i was with
00:48:10how's your date is he doing okay as far as i know good
00:48:18um it looked like your date was going well it was actually well until you know
00:48:26why did you keep staring at me while you're on a date with another woman
00:48:30i hope it wasn't a date what uh my aunt sherry uh the woman i was with was my aunt
00:48:37sherry
00:48:39oh
00:48:42sorry for jumping to conclusions yeah
00:48:47but still you did keep looking at me i did
00:48:55how did you not panic when my date was choking like you came over and assessed the situation and
00:49:01acted you you saved his life you know i i still get a little nervous every time there's a situation
00:49:07like that but i just let my training take over
00:49:13what would it take to become a first responder
00:49:16any particular field paramedic emt firefighter
00:49:21i started taking an emt course my freshman year but i never finished
00:49:26i'm sure that would be easy to pick back up
00:49:28what happened earlier at the cafe i do not want a repeat of that i
00:49:32want to be ready and willing to act everybody responds different in a situation like that
00:49:38but you responded how i want to respond you'll finish your emt course and i'm sure you would
00:49:44what are the typical hours like for an emt mostly 12-hour shifts but it's not uncommon to have to
00:49:50stay
00:49:51late because of a call that comes in at the end of your shift and how did you get certified
00:49:55six months
00:49:57at a community college i was taking other courses at the same time and being emt certified really
00:50:02helped when i decided to become a fireman what made you decide that my mom she embroidered a quote
00:50:11and hung it on her wall at home it was by ralph waldo emerson and it said the purpose of
00:50:17life is to
00:50:18not be happy it is to be useful to be honorable to be compassionate to have it make some difference
00:50:24that you have lived and lived well your mom embroidered all that yeah
00:50:32and you feel like you're making a difference some days yeah all in all i recommend it as a profession
00:50:41if you're looking to give back to your community on the other hand if you're looking to be a hero
00:50:46or
00:50:47make a lot of money it's not the field for you thanks for answering all of my questions i know
00:50:52it was a lot yeah no problem uh let me give you my number if you have any more questions
00:51:01i can oh yeah
00:51:03okay yeah that would be great that's nice actually
00:51:09okay i finally decided i want to become a first responder like a firefighter i want to be an emt
00:51:17then work my way up to being a paramedic is there a difference well emts they mostly deal with cpr
00:51:23tourniquet application and wound treatment paramedics they perform more advanced procedures
00:51:29i think you are suffering the effects from your mid midlife crisis i'm serious after talking to sean
00:51:37i'm sure that this is what i want to do but isn't that like starting over with school are you
00:51:42still
00:51:42going to have time while we're trying to find your one and only john you guys are not being
00:51:49supportive did sean talk you into this not at all i just asked him a bunch of questions and
00:51:57we actually had a lot of fun together we spent the entire afternoon talking
00:52:02that's swell and all but you're supposed to be finding love with a john all right everyone let's
00:52:08find out what these babies are don't forget you have six dates this week six check your calendar
00:52:13i did give you tomorrow off oh i should probably tell you that i set you up on a second

00:52:52wow that is incredibly accurate don't look so surprised are you sure you're not signed with the pga
00:52:59this is a good idea yeah i'm glad we did this
00:53:04so i've been thinking about making a career change something still with computers right
00:53:09emt actually that is quite the change i know are you sure you want to do that
00:53:16you don't think i should no no that's not what i meant it's just
00:53:22it's the hospital i gotta deliver it i gotta go it's not helen is it no no she's still a
00:53:26ways out
00:53:27we should do this again sometime sure i'm sorry
00:53:37oh hey hold up
00:53:40who is it hi hey it's her isn't it isn't it i wanted to say thanks again for answering all
00:53:49my questions the
00:53:50other day i decided that i want to be an emd that's awesome and then maybe work my way up
00:53:59to being a
00:53:59paramedic i could totally see you doing that thank you you're like the first person who's shown any
00:54:05excitement about this what's not to be excited about such a great choice i know you're gonna love it
00:54:12i was wondering if you would point me in the right direction
00:54:16i could do better than that i could help you along the way and make sure you take all the
00:54:22best
00:54:23courses with the best teachers show you what to prepare for help you with the exams you would do
00:54:29that yeah i want to see you succeed thank you um i'll put some things together for you and maybe
00:54:37we can meet up tomorrow morning uh let me check my calendar one sec i can't tomorrow morning uh when
00:54:50can you or thursday morning you're a busy lady how's friday morning i'll make it work come by the fire
00:54:58station around nine great uh thank you perfect al i'll see you then bye that's right that's right
00:55:17what are we going to do about ali i'm worried about her i think out of everyone she's seen so
00:55:22far i think
00:55:23dr john is the best what is it it's too quiet ryan ryan try calling him yeah voicemail again maybe
00:55:47he finally snapped he realized that being married to you is just too much work and he's on his way
00:55:54to
00:55:54belize this is so unlike him isn't this what you wanted though irresponsible lazy less perfect yeah but
00:56:02the kids were supposed to be to bed hours ago oh he's going to be in so much trouble i'm
00:56:06sure they're
00:56:07fine have you noticed that ali is starting to act irrationally do you hear that what that
00:56:18is
00:56:22too perfect huh
00:56:34oh you've got to be kidding me what he sent me some texts i didn't even see
00:56:39letting me know that the kids were scared and was going to stay with them but would get to the
00:56:44dishes
00:56:44after they fell asleep i'm a bad wife you're not a bad wife you're just starting to realize what an
00:56:54amazing man you have he is pretty amazing huh and he even left some dishes for you to do but
00:57:00look what
00:57:00he did to me oh i think you had a little bit to do with that yourself so what are
00:57:07we going to do about
00:57:08allie i wouldn't stress about it she's made up her mind about work the best thing we can do is
00:57:12support
00:57:12her yeah just as long as she doesn't forget about finding her soulmate john
00:57:20i made a list of some things you need to do and some resources to help you get signed up
00:57:24this is amazing thank you you don't need a college degree to be empty but you do need a high
00:57:30school
00:57:30diploma check you need to be cpr certified before you enroll in the course okay i had one of those
00:57:36but i think it's expired now yeah most certifications only last for a year or two so you'll have to
00:57:41redo that but luckily we offer a course it only takes a couple hours sign me up for the next
00:57:46one
00:57:48then you'll have to take a cognitive exam is that the kind of test that you can take online
00:57:53yep it lasts between 60 and 110 questions what kinds of questions uh it covers everything from
00:57:59airways ventilation respiration cardiology resuscitation takes about two hours the
00:58:05biggest thing you'll need to do is complete a state-approved education program is that like
00:58:09the one i started in college yep however there's an accelerated emt training course
00:58:14that takes only 19 days as opposed to six months of the community college okay i definitely
00:58:21want to do the accelerated course it's just my schedule is a little crazy over the next little
00:58:29while oh i know it sounds bad it's just i have a date like every day the next several weeks
00:58:41every day
00:58:44with the same guy or different guys different oh
00:58:51dare i ask i know it sounds so bad saying it out loud but it
00:58:58it's complicated but i am serious about being an emt so i'm going to start as soon as i can
00:59:04and you're serial dating
00:59:08you don't know the half of it while we wait for the last few people to arrive make sure you
00:59:13have your
00:59:13package so we can review and we're going to go over to doctors abc shortly thanks for coming with me
00:59:20yeah no problem one of my worst fears is one of my kids choking and me not knowing what to
00:59:25do
00:59:28so how did your date with the latest john go while we were watching the movie i reached
00:59:35over for some popcorn and he pulled the tub away and asked me if my hands were clean
00:59:41oh i'm so sorry it gets better he then said he had to go to the bathroom and he took
00:59:46the tub of popcorn
00:59:47with him what and then never came back at least i was finally able to enjoy the movie hey helen
00:59:59will you cancel all my upcoming dates even my doctor no he actually has some potential but all
01:00:07the others i just can't handle i really want to focus on my emt training
01:00:15okay as long as you take time to focus on dr john thank you now i just have to convince
01:00:21brooke
01:00:22all right everyone the doctors abcs is a handy acronym to help you remember what to do when you
01:00:27find someone unconscious you can't give up i'm not giving up i i just can't go on any more blind
01:00:35dates
01:00:36but some potential good ones are coming up how many dates have i been on a lot over 50 50
01:00:46dates and
01:00:48i've only been on one second date one what does that tell you that i've failed no yes no i
01:00:57look i appreciate
01:01:00everything that you and helen have set up for me i just i think it was too much all at
01:01:07once
01:01:10i may have gone a little overboard
01:01:12a little
01:01:23are you sure i'm sure
01:01:33but you still think that there's potential with dr john i do he's really nice but we have yet to
01:01:40finish a date
01:01:48nice it nice it nice it there you go
01:01:53nice
01:02:02good game i'm sorry i shouldn't have played that hard glad you didn't hold back this is your
01:02:09first time playing showed that much no you're great i mean you play like a pro
01:02:15how's the emt thing going i have a test coming up if i pass i can start the accelerated course
01:02:22i'm a little nervous no i'm sure you'll do great maybe you can help me study how i don't know
01:02:28like
01:02:28quiz me on things like how many liters of oxygen is a d-size cylinder capable of carrying
01:02:37look it's it's a hospital i'm sorry i gotta get going i'm still trying to figure out this whole
01:02:44balance between work life personal life and
01:02:46you mean like not dating your patient's friends yeah yeah something like that
01:02:52which symptoms are most commonly associated with cardiac related chest pain it's not lower
01:02:58back pain jaw pain that's correct
01:03:03all right next one what patient would be most likely to require insulin injections
01:03:09a 92 year old male with type 2 diabetes a 25 year old male with type 1 diabetes 25 year
01:03:14male type 1 diabetes you don't want to hear the other options well if he's a 25 year old male
01:03:18with
01:03:18type 1 diabetes he most likely isn't capable of producing his own insulin you got them all
01:03:24you're definitely ready i feel ready you nervous not with you in my corner
01:03:31thanks for helping me study of course
01:03:38what's the rule about having boys over when i'm not here
01:03:42she's kidding i was just leaving yeah i bet you were
01:03:49you'll do awesome tomorrow thanks nice to see you again
01:04:01oh what do you think you're doing studying for my test tomorrow with your hair all done up nice
01:04:06and smelling all smelling you're wearing my perfume you said i could borrow some yeah when you're out with
01:04:11dr john not with that guy don't worry i'm going to see dr john tomorrow after my test good i
01:04:19just want
01:04:19to make sure that your priorities are straight
01:04:27on call again yeah i mean that's why i chose this place just in case i'm called in
01:04:34doesn't that ever get to you just always feeling like you're at work
01:04:38it's crossed my mind but i love what i do feels like i've
01:04:45you know taking care of women is my life's calling
01:04:50you know that sounded a lot more strange coming out than just staying up there
01:04:57wasn't your dad a surgeon yeah he still is i mean that's why i got in the medical field in
01:05:02the first
01:05:03place i love surgery i mean you can actually cure a patient's disease with the right operation
01:05:10and then i delivered that first baby and it all made sense you know in my line of work there's
01:05:17two
01:05:17patients the mother and the child there's nothing like bringing new life into the world
01:05:25i got to be at my niece's birth and seeing those little hands and their eyes open for the first
01:05:34time it was
01:05:38it was amazing see why you do it
01:05:46what it's kind of like we just picked back up from when we were in high school
01:06:06you're never gonna believe the hospital i'm sorry i have to cut the time short
01:06:15it's okay i understand i'm off work next week okay i'll pick you up take you on a formal date
01:06:23okay thank you for understanding yeah of course
01:06:37what's going on

01:06:49where did you run from
01:06:53you passed yeah 100 that's amazing thanks to you hey i just led you in the right direction that's
01:07:01all you i couldn't have done it without you let's celebrate we can celebrate by letting me take you out
01:07:08i'm all sweaty how about this saturday that is if it doesn't interfere with your other dating
01:07:14adventures it's very much done with now thank goodness really saturday would be nice
01:07:36i'm glad you came it's nice to finally spend some time together studying doesn't count you know
01:07:42what i mean it's one of the few times you haven't seen me in my uniform it does look good
01:07:46on you
01:07:47thanks
01:07:49i bet your mom's really proud of you being a fireman my mom
01:07:54her quote that inspired you right oh yeah she would be
01:08:01i lost both my parents when i was in college i'm sorry it's okay it was a long time ago
01:08:18now the only family i have close by is my aunt the one you thought i was dating oh but
01:08:23she's always
01:08:24off traveling so i imagine it gets lonely not having any family around definitely
01:08:33what were your parents like um everything a kid could ask for i had a really ideal childhood growing
01:08:40up was a very happy kid my family ate dinner together every night prayed together parents
01:08:47even came to all my baseball games now my family's my work what about a family of your own
01:08:55you know i almost got married once after a year together she said if it's too good to be true
01:09:01it
01:09:01probably is and she ended it i'm sorry it's okay better to break up before we got married
01:09:10and no one since then you know just me and my work what about you
01:09:20the same i guess i kind of just threw myself into work and my own routine and just never made
01:09:29time for friends or anything else really i guess i just got comfortable yeah i get that
01:09:50what did i just walk into an intervention
01:09:55you and sean have been spending lots of time together yeah because he's been helping me study
01:10:03i don't think that there was any studying today unless it was about the nerves in each other's lips
01:10:10we haven't kissed good why not
01:10:16listen i really enjoy spending time with sean we know why he's helping you it's because he likes
01:10:22you i like him too but what about john i like both john and sean helen and i both agree
01:10:31that this john
01:10:32could be the one it's just we're not enough of priority to one another but john's great yeah when i
01:10:41actually get a chance to see him sean is really nice though helen not helping
01:10:49do you have feelings for sean
01:10:53i'm not sure what's holding you back
01:10:58everything madam zoe has said has come true and that's why i keep wanting to spend time with dr john
01:11:04but i just feel a little confused because spending time with sean is so much easier either madam zoe's
01:11:11fortunes are real or she's a fraud so far she seems pretty real
01:11:19all i know is i used to feel in control of my life then after seeing madam zoe i started
01:11:26to feel uncertain
01:11:27so many things were concrete and now i just feel like i'm on board a ship that's last at sea
01:11:36and i
01:11:37have no control do you feel like you're in control now it's hard to feel like you're in control when
01:11:43fortunes seem to be dictating your life but it's not that it's it's fate not dictating your life but
01:11:49showing you a better future i just want stability and to feel like i am accomplishing something good
01:11:58by taking this course i feel like i'm doing that maybe sean is helping you to get what you want
01:12:06but that doesn't mean that he's the one you need to make a choice and you know who i vote
01:12:13for
01:12:35kiss her yet no that's none of your business of course it's my business i gotta know when to get
01:12:42a new suit for when you ask me to be your best man taking it slow a little too slow
01:12:47if you ask me
01:12:48does she even know how you feel i don't know why are we talking about this stuff anyways you gotta
01:12:55let her know how you feel yeah i don't know seems risky you're a good looking man sean thank you
01:13:03i think i mean it you got a lot going for you and ever since you met this girl you've
01:13:09been different
01:13:11and i don't want you to lose out on this opportunity for you to be happy again
01:13:23so
01:13:30so
01:13:52Wait.
01:13:56This isn't fair to you, John.
01:13:59What?
01:14:03I don't think that this is going to work out.
01:14:20Oh.
01:14:22It's just not meant to be.
01:14:24It's worth a shot.
01:14:27You're a really good man, John.
01:14:30I mean, you're going to make someone really happy.
01:14:34Not you.
01:14:39Thanks for understanding.
01:14:49Mike!
01:14:50Hey, have you seen Sean?
01:14:51I haven't been able to get a hold of him.
01:14:53I thought he was on his way to see you.
01:14:54No, I haven't seen him.
01:14:56Oh, let me try him.
01:15:01Hey, Sean.
01:15:02Hey, what's going on, man?
01:15:03I got out of here looking for you.
01:15:06Ah.
01:15:08Okay.
01:15:10Yeah, I see.
01:15:13All right.
01:15:13Bye.
01:15:14He's okay?
01:15:15Uh, yeah.
01:15:16He's, uh...
01:15:21He said, uh...
01:15:25Mike, where is he?
01:15:34Hey, Sean.
01:15:36I've been looking for you.
01:15:38Found me.
01:15:41Sean, there's something that I need to talk to you about.
01:15:46Remember that day at the carnival?
01:15:49After the whole Ferris wheel incident?
01:15:51I was there looking for Madam Zoe, the fortune teller.
01:15:54It was because of something that she told me.
01:15:57Because she told me that I would need to find a new apartment,
01:15:59and that I would need a new job,
01:16:01and that I should be on the lookout for my soulmate,
01:16:03some guy named John.
01:16:05Why are you telling me about this?
01:16:06My friends and I, we put together a list of every John that we knew,
01:16:11and then they gave me this dating calendar,
01:16:14and I went along with it,
01:16:16and I don't know why I did.
01:16:17I really, I really shouldn't have.
01:16:19And then it turned into this whole fiasco
01:16:21where I was going out on a date every night.
01:16:25So, every one of those dates you went on
01:16:27was with someone named John?
01:16:30I...
01:16:32I didn't want to give Madam Zoe's fortune a second thought,
01:16:35but then my apartment flooded,
01:16:38and then I needed to find a new job,
01:16:40and I thought that there might be something to it.
01:16:43You know, I know that sounds crazy.
01:16:46Yeah.
01:16:47It does.
01:16:49But I don't want it to be that way.
01:16:53I broke off my date tonight because I wanted...
01:16:57You break all of your dates with a kiss?
01:17:00You saw that?
01:17:03Apparently, I wasn't supposed to.
01:17:08Sean, it is not what you think.
01:17:10No?
01:17:11Then what is it?
01:17:14It's just...
01:17:16He's not the right one.
01:17:19I'm sure there's plenty more Johns out there.
01:17:28You're gonna make a great EMT, Ellie.
01:17:48It's fine, at least.
01:17:50Now I can focus completely on class.
01:17:53Yes.
01:18:07You know what I mean.
01:18:09You know what I mean.
01:18:12Come on, man.
01:18:13Oh.
01:18:14Yeah, buddy.
01:18:15Yeah.
01:18:17Yeah.
01:18:20Yeah.
01:18:21Yeah.
01:18:22Yeah.
01:18:41Thank you so much for everything.
01:19:14I'm tired of being around Mr. Doom and Glo.
01:19:18So what if your name isn't John?
01:19:20You liked her, right?
01:19:22I mean, you really liked her.
01:19:25Yeah.
01:19:26I really did.
01:19:30There are some men who are good at communicating what they want.
01:19:34But more often than not, we're taught to stay strong.
01:19:38Be tough in the face of sadness.
01:19:40It's like we're supposed to put on this false bravado when we're grappling with emotions.
01:19:45That's surprisingly deep.
01:19:47Most of us aren't always able to share our worries and fears and frustrations with others.
01:19:53We all need a woman we can open up to.
01:19:55Someone kind and understanding we can be vulnerable with.
01:20:00And you need to open up to her.
01:20:04I know you've been hurt before, man.
01:20:06I know.
01:20:09But you've got to give her a chance.
01:20:34It's a lot quieter with Allie gone.
01:20:36You hear from her?
01:20:37No.
01:20:38Not since she moved to a new place.
01:20:40I'm going to need some chocolate.
01:20:41Okay.
01:20:45Everything okay?
01:20:46Oh, this isn't good.
01:20:48Oh, no.
01:20:49Do we need to go to the hospital?
01:20:50That might be a good idea.
01:20:51Okay.
01:20:52All right.
01:20:52Come on.
01:20:53Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
01:20:54It's worse when they stand.
01:20:56Okay.
01:20:56Oh, no, no, no, no.
01:20:57Okay.
01:20:58All right.
01:20:58I'm going to go, Brian.
01:20:59Okay.
01:21:00Okay.
01:21:00I'm going to lie down now.
01:21:01Yes.
01:21:01I'm going to lie down now.
01:21:02Oh, I'm leaving you.
01:21:20It can be.
01:21:24Breathe.
01:21:25Okay.
01:21:25Oh.
01:21:26Okay.
01:21:27Okay.
01:21:30You've got to be kidding me
01:21:31Oh, I'll let them in
01:21:33Okay
01:21:34Hi, Brooke
01:21:34Hi
01:21:37Hi, John
01:21:37Hi
01:21:38You're still in your second trimester, right?
01:21:41How far apart are your contractions?
01:21:42Are they pretty regular?
01:21:43Usually every 15 or 30 seconds
01:21:44But sometimes as long as 2 to 3 minutes
01:21:46Okay, let's get you as comfortable as possible
01:21:48And see if they subside as you change positions
01:22:03Ellison
01:22:04I was expecting you
01:22:18It looks like your blood pressure is back to normal
01:22:21So they weren't contractions?
01:22:24Did you have Braxton Hicks with either of your previous pregnancies?
01:22:27Um, no
01:22:28Braxton, who, what?
01:22:31It's like when your uterus rehearses for delivery
01:22:34The contractions are infrequent and irregular
01:22:36And usually subside as you change positions
01:22:38Real labor contractions are longer, stronger
01:22:41And get closer together the more you need labor
01:22:44Just try to stay off your feet for a while
01:22:46Give your doctor a call
01:22:47Try to avoid stress
01:22:50Um, you can help me avoid stress
01:22:53By making things right with Allie
01:22:54She doesn't care if your name is
01:22:56Sean, John, Jacob, Alice
01:22:59She wants you
01:23:01She does?
01:23:03Yeah
01:23:04You need to go find her
01:23:08Sean
01:23:10I realize that I may have been a little blinded
01:23:13By trying to find a guy named John
01:23:14Rather than seeing what you and Allie have together
01:23:17I just love Allie
01:23:19And I want what's best for her
01:23:21So I'll find out where she is
01:23:23Helen!
01:23:25Ryan!
01:23:25It's okay, it's okay, pass an alarm
01:23:29I'm so sorry I came as fast as I could
01:23:31It's okay
01:23:32You look fantastic in this sweater
01:23:33Oh, baby
01:23:45Not everything you said came true
01:23:47Is not possible
01:23:49Was written in stars and must be so
01:23:52The first two predictions came true
01:23:55But the third one
01:23:56There is no John for me
01:24:00What did you say?
01:24:12That there is no John for me
01:24:15I'm meant to be with Sean
01:24:27That is what they said
01:24:29John
01:24:30Wait, what?
01:24:33Spell the name for me
01:24:35S-E-A-N
01:24:38Sean
01:24:40Are you serious?
01:24:42That is not what it sounds like you're saying
01:25:03I remember you
01:25:06I'm so sorry about what happened last time
01:25:08Uh, do you want a free ride?
01:25:13Sure
01:25:13Why not?
01:25:25Thanks
01:25:29Hold up
01:25:40I thought you wouldn't get on one of these things again
01:25:45What are you doing here?
01:25:47Looking for you
01:25:59Why were you looking for me?
01:26:02Why were you looking for me?
01:26:02Honestly, I'm sorry
01:26:04You shouldn't be the one apologizing
01:26:07I'm the one who had my priorities all mixed up
01:26:10I didn't see what I had right in front of me
01:26:13I was wrong to turn away from you so quickly
01:26:16I was just hurt and needed to protect myself
01:26:20And what you saw that night, it's not what you think
01:26:23The only John that was worth dating
01:26:25I told him I didn't want to see him anymore
01:26:28So he kissed me
01:26:29To try and change my mind
01:26:31Why did you break up with him
01:26:33If you were supposed to end up with a John?
01:26:37Because I finally found someone
01:26:39That I did want to be with
01:26:43Me too
01:26:45I mean, with you
01:26:48All this time we've spent together
01:26:50It's felt so natural
01:26:51Like
01:26:53Nothing's missing anymore
01:26:57I feel the same
01:27:00Even though my name's not John
01:27:03It's a funny story about that
01:27:05It
01:27:07Turns out it was you
01:27:08All along
01:27:16Sorry
01:27:18I know how to fix it now
01:27:19Just give me a minute
01:27:21It's okay
01:27:22We're good up here
01:27:25More than good
01:27:45We're good up here
01:27:45Thanks
01:27:45Bye
01:27:45Bye
01:27:45Bye
01:27:45Bye
01:27:47Bye
