00:03Hey, it's People in 10, starting with the legend, the icon, the luminary, Dolly Parton.
00:18Tributes continue to pour in for the late country star, whose death was announced by her nephew on Tuesday.
00:24Dolly was a farmer, just like her daddy. He farmed the soil, she farmed songs and happiness.
00:30Dolly told him she wants to rest in cotton, because after a life of wearing rhinestones, she finally deserved to
00:36be comfortable. And what a gem she was.
00:39I've just been around a long time and people kind of relate to me like a favorite aunt or an
00:44older sister.
00:45Taylor Swift called her a true grace and true grit, while Reba McIntyre said there will never be another like
00:51her.
00:51So many others recognize the undeniable impact she leaves behind on country music, their hearts and the world.
01:03Miley Cyrus also mourned her godmother, saying, we're all in this loss together and we will see her in all
01:10of the most beautiful things.
01:12Just last Friday, Dolly acknowledged how her health had declined after her beloved husband Carl's death in 2025.
01:17He always picks me the first flowers, that'll make me a little bouquet and some kind of a little mason
01:23jar.
01:24And sometimes he'll write me a little poem. And so those are sweet things that's kind of kept us going.
01:29But she said she had so many things that she still wanted to achieve. Dolly was 80 years old.
01:37And Dolly's story was never just about the music. It was about everything she built with the fame those songs
01:43gave her.
01:44I always wanted to be a star, but you work so hard to become one, you don't ever really get
01:50to think about her.
01:50I don't think about the fact that I'm a star.
01:53And that work built a legacy that will live on.
01:56Her imagination library helped send more than 300 million free books to children around the world,
02:01while her Dollywood Foundation funded scholarships and education programs in the Tennessee County where she grew up.
02:08She gave millions to Children's Hospitals and supported pediatric cancer research, infectious disease research, disaster relief,
02:16and COVID research connected to the Moderna vaccine.
02:19I just want to be able to do things that are good things that can be built on and carried
02:25on.
02:26And I'm proud of my legacy so far.
02:29And so I hope to just continue to do things that might be of use to other people.
02:36And that's exactly what her family is asking fans to do now.
02:40Donate to the Imagination Library in lieu of flowers.
02:44Well, I ain't got time to get old. I ain't got time to dwell on that.
02:47And maybe that's why Dolly's legacy feels so alive.
02:51Because even now, the work keeps going, just like she would have wanted it to.
02:57Hollywood is also mourning Tim Curry this week, who made a career out of being impossible to pin down.
03:03The 80-year-old is beloved for five decades of film and TV roles that were weird, wild, funny, and
03:10fearless.
03:11Come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.
03:16In Rocky Horror, he turned Frankenfurter into a cult icon.
03:20In Clue, he turned a frantic butler into a comedy legend.
03:24I'm merely a humble butler.
03:26What exactly do you do?
03:27I battle, sir.
03:28And then there was it.
03:30His Pennywise was a nightmare that still keeps fans up at night.
03:33In a CBS interview last year, he was asked about being an enigma.
03:37I think it's important.
03:40I encourage it.
03:44I think it's lucky.
03:46Because it means that you don't have to come out of the same door every time.
03:51Then in 2012, after experiencing a stroke, he faced a different kind of challenge.
03:57I had to learn how to speak again.
03:59That was very weird.
04:01I hated not being able to speak.
04:03But he overcame it and now leaves behind a legacy entirely his own.
04:10Switching gears now.
04:11It's been a week full of big, bad choices.
04:13First, Good Good, which started as a golf-focused YouTube channel and sparked backlash for an ad
04:19showing its co-founder getting violent with a woman over the Calloway Quantum driver.
04:29Do not touch my new driver.
04:32Yikes!
04:33They've since taken down the clip and issued an apology,
04:36saying the actions depicted are not aligned with the brand's values.
04:39Seems like Calloway agrees because they're still working with them.
04:43Then, Target missed the mark too with this Halloween costume.
04:47I mean, y'all see it, right?
04:49This outfit is being criticized for its clear depiction of blackface and racist imagery,
04:54which goes back to the Jim Crow era.
04:56If only something could have prevented this.
04:59Same as Good Good, Target also apologized,
05:02pulled the costume from stores,
05:04and is promising to do better,
05:06all amid ongoing boycotts.
05:10There's more sending the internet into a frenzy,
05:13this time over hair.
05:15Should I regret?
05:16No.
05:17No regrets.
05:19Manchester City's Erling Haaland said bye-bye to his luscious Viking locks
05:23in favor of a short buzz cut.
05:25Shocking fans, his teammates, his former coach,
05:28even his girlfriend, Isabel.
05:35Oh my God.
05:38You're lucky you have her.
05:39I would love to have you.
05:40And he's not the only one who's sparking some heat over a new cut.
05:44Okay, listen up.
05:46The rumors are true.
05:48Hey, change can be good.
05:50Just ask Ronaldo.
05:52Prince Harry has officially touched down for his family's move back to the UK.
05:57But apparently, he never truly left it behind.
06:00A source tells people he never really stopped missing home
06:03when he and Meghan moved to California in 2020.
06:06Per insiders there, he struggled to form a close social circle
06:10and missed his community in Britain.
06:11But not so fast.
06:13This move is not a full return to Harry's old life.
06:16We hear they're keeping their Montecito home,
06:18and they'll remain private, non-working members of the royal family.
06:22But they'll also be busy.
06:24Meghan's still pursuing acting again
06:26and remains in talks for a role in Netflix as The Gentleman,
06:29which was just renewed for season three.
06:31And though Harry is stepping down from the board of African Parks,
06:35that gives him plenty of time to work on prepping the Invictus Games
06:38in Birmingham next summer.
06:39While the kiddos, Archie and Lilibet, will attend a UK school.
06:43Much like their cousins, including Prince George,
06:46who was just seen with his family at church in Scotland,
06:49weeks before he starts his first year at his dad's alma mater, Eaton.
06:55Katie Segal was celebrating a massive milestone, 40 years sober.
06:59And she did it with the people who matter the most.
07:02The 72-year-old threw a garden party to mark the occasion
07:05with her husband, Kurt Sutter, and her kids,
07:08Sarah, Jackson, and Esme by her side.
07:10Katie wrote that she's grateful beyond for her wonderful life.
07:14And this hasn't been just good for her.
07:16Her son, Jackson, who you definitely know from Tell Me Lies,
07:20has said seeing his mom continuously sober
07:22showed him he could do it too, which changed his life.
07:27Martha Stewart is feeling basic with a little dash of pumpkin spice.
07:31This smells like my house in the fall.
07:34It's perfect.
07:35You would get loud.
07:38Should I know him?
07:39Well, we know him very well.
07:42But Martha couldn't pick Belmont out of a lineup.
07:44She was working with the stand-in.
07:46You're so messy.
07:49That was a joke.
07:50But girl, don't you think it's a little too early for PSL to be back?
07:54Summer's not over.
07:55I'm still trying to soak up the sun.
07:58It's like by September, we're all supposed to turn into pumpkins.
08:01Either way, though, yum.
08:03My drink will still have ice in it.
08:06And finally, Kim Kardashian's got backup.
08:08So Kim's co-star from All's Fair, Glenn Close,
08:11posted a photo with Kim and Lewis Hamilton
08:13from the set of season two after Lewis stopped by to visit.
08:17The post was sweet, but the comments, not so much.
08:20One person even wrote,
08:21Sorry you have to deal with her,
08:23prompting Glenn to jump right in to defend Kim.
08:26She called her a kind, funny, steady, and smart powerhouse.
08:30Then said,
08:31She is my friend.
08:32And that is how you shut down a hater.
08:36Now it's to sit down with the cast of Outer Banks.
08:38Hi, everyone.
08:39The fifth and final season is officially streaming,
08:42but we're not ready to say goodbye.
08:44Y'all have come a long way from season one.
08:47How has life changed since then?
08:49Oh, my gosh.
08:51Immensely.
08:51I mean, I feel like I've gone from, like,
08:54literally being a kid to, like, kind of growing up
08:56and grew up on this show,
08:58like, made a lot of amazing friends
08:59and learned a lot, grew a lot.
09:02I mean, we've all been through so much together that first day.
09:06We were all so excited and scared and nervous together.
09:11And it's interesting kind of growing into it
09:13and growing up with each other
09:15and still having those same feelings with everyone.
09:18Spoiler alert for anyone who hasn't finished last season,
09:22but the Pogues were missing one of their own,
09:24JJ, who met his untimely end in the season four finale.
09:27Did it take a while to adjust to not having Rudy on set?
09:30I think there was, like, we're, like, missing a little comedy,
09:33but also it wasn't a lot of room to tell a lot of jokes.
09:37It's a really serious storyline this year,
09:39and I think as shocking as it was,
09:41it was also, unfortunately, the catalyst
09:43for the rest of this season.
09:45So, you know, as much as we did miss, like, JJ's, like,
09:50like, his quips and one-liners.
09:52If we have to make a getaway,
09:53we'll just hop on some horses.
09:54Guns a-blazing.
09:55No, we're not horsebacking with guns.
09:58Scratch the horses.
09:58It really was a driving force
10:00between why our characters do a lot of the things that they do.
10:02You know, there was an adjustment,
10:04but I think that also is the point.
10:06You know, that's what the characters are going through.
10:09They're adjusting to not having him around,
10:11so all that just kind of works its way into the performances.
10:14Jonathan, can we talk about Pope getting into smoking weed in jail?
10:18Awfully funny timing,
10:20since you're about to play Snoop Dogg in his upcoming biopic.
10:23Did the irony of that cross your mind?
10:25Uh, I think it had crossed all our minds.
10:28I was like, I went to the writers,
10:30I'm like, oh, Pope getting high, I wonder why.
10:33But I try to not put any of what I'm doing for Snoop
10:37into Pope's high,
10:39because I feel like they're two totally different headspaces
10:42when it comes to that,
10:43so I try to make it feel like what it would be like
10:46if Pope was high and not give it too much Snoop.
10:49What memories do you have from the final day on set?
10:52They're all really blurry.
10:54For some reason, they're not in focus.
10:56I don't know why.
10:57I did cry a lot.
10:58An embarrassing amount of tears were falling from my eyes.
11:03It really starts to set in
11:04that this is the last time we're going to be doing this show forever,
11:08and it's like a wash of emotions.
11:10It's sadness,
11:11but it's like a strange feeling of relief isn't the right word.
11:15The best thing I can equate it to is when you graduate school.
11:19Yeah, the waterworks definitely started to come after that.
11:21So many tears.
11:23Now, be honest, who cried the most?
11:26Either Chase or Madison.
11:27Those two are the big criers.
11:29That's what they say.
11:30We couldn't know.
11:32Nobody was counting tears.
11:33They're deflecting.
11:34They're deflecting.
11:35Look over there.
11:37We're still mourning it,
11:38but we're still here in it.
11:41It felt like the last day of filming,
11:43and it was cherished.
11:44It's like you say goodbye.
11:46Can you say goodbye to somebody
11:47and you walk the same direction to your heart?
11:48I know.
11:49Yeah.
11:50One more spoiler alert for season five this time.
11:54How do you all feel about how your character story ended?
11:57Are you happy?
11:58His whole storyline took a lot of twists and turns
12:00that I didn't expect when I first came on to the show,
12:02I'm not going to lie.
12:03It was very shocking and exciting
12:07because who doesn't want to have that much money?
12:12New house, new car, new man.
12:14Same man, new car.
12:17That's true.
12:18Same man, new car.
12:19I agree with Carly, too.
12:21I'm happy.
12:22Oh, and new baby.
12:24She's strong and very resilient,
12:27and I guess she passed those genes along to the baby.
12:30I think I feel okay about it.
12:33I think after last season's ending,
12:35I really didn't know what Chiara's end would look like,
12:39and the fact that we finished it with a smile on her face,
12:43like, I'm good with that.
12:44He's a person that is in constant pursuit
12:48of some type of love and connection,
12:51and I think ultimately in the end,
12:53he gets that.
12:55So yeah, I think it's wrapped up nicely.
12:57Finishing out his arc, I would say,
12:59in a way where he gets to have a happy ending
13:02was really nice to see.
