00:00Hello everyone, it's a new season on The Division 2. We've got Red Horizon starting today and where it becomes
00:06a new manhunt.
00:08Today I'm going to cover Scout Week 1 and all the objectives and solutions for you.
00:13But first I just want to quickly talk about how the manhunt works in case we've got some new players
00:17on the game.
00:18Especially more recent times with the exposure, you might be wondering how does the manhunt system work.
00:23So very quickly, from your main menu, when you go into your map, you can go to Manhunts and this
00:29is where you find your manhunt.
00:30This season we've got 11 weeks. This is two more weeks than last season, so a bit of a longer
00:35season for this season.
00:36And each week you're going to get given Scout Missions. They'll give you some objectives and your aim is to
00:41solve what the objective wants you to do.
00:43Go and do it and complete all three each week. Once you've done that, you get some rewards.
00:48These release every Tuesday normally. Today is Thursday though. The season's releasing on a Thursday.
00:52So we've got the first one now. We can see Week 2. Scout Week 2 unlocks in 4 days, 18
00:57hours, which will be on the Tuesday reset.
00:59So you go through these each week and on Week 11, once you get to Week 11, it's the end
01:04of the season and you get a Climax mission.
01:06The Climax mission is kind of like the closure to the season. You'll head to a mission, there'll be an
01:11exotic attached to it.
01:12And there's master difficulty on that mission to go and complete for the guaranteed exotic.
01:17So that's your aim through the Weekly Manhunt system is to complete these objectives to unlock that mission at the
01:22end of the season.
01:22Now, if you're coming back late season to this, you don't actually have to do every single one.
01:27They set it up in a way where you only have to do the high value targets.
01:30So on Week 4 here, we've got high value target 1. On Week 8, we've got high value target 2.
01:36And then on Week 11, it's high value target 3.
01:38So if you are playing catch-up for whatever reason, towards the end of the season, just come back and
01:44do 4, 8, and 11.
01:47And you'll be able to access that Climax mission.
01:49And if you missed a whole season completely, you don't need to worry.
01:52Because next season, as a new season starts, the old Climax mission goes into the Legacy Manhunt.
01:57So you can click on Legacy Manhunt here, and it gives you a whole list of all of the past
02:02Manhunts.
02:02So we've just finished one season now where we had the Zodiac mission.
02:05We can now play Zodiac how much we want to, also on Master Difficulty.
02:10So that's how the Manhunt work. I think I've covered everything there for you.
02:14So we're going to go now and cover Scout Week 1.
02:17And be sure to tune in every single week for each week's missions. I'll have them all covered.
02:22So the first objective for this Scout Week is refugees are being captured and executed
02:28as they enter the northeastern part of the city.
02:31This has a progress bar of 2 here.
02:35So I'm guessing public executions is the only thing I can think about here.
02:39So we're going to go and check that out.
02:40It looks like we've got to do two of them.
02:42It says northeastern part of the city.
02:44So if we go to the map, northeastern part of the city.
02:46We're looking at Judiciary Square.
02:48So let's go and see if we can go and find some public executions in this area.
02:52There we go. We've got two in there.
02:54We'll go see if this is it.
02:55Okay, so we just did one public execution in Judiciary.
02:58We will rescue the hostage. We'll see if we get one out of two for that.
03:03We did get one out of two.
03:05There we go.
03:06So I can confirm for objective one.
03:09We just got one out of two northeastern part of the city.
03:12As long as you do two public executions in Judiciary Square, you'll be good.
03:16We've got another one down here.
03:18So we're going to do that now.
03:19Just confirm once we've completed the objective there.
03:22Prevent public executions in downtown, east, or Judiciary Square.
03:26So you can do either one of those two areas.
03:28So if you don't have any public executions, you can just keep on reloading the map.
03:32Every time you reload the map, like re-log or transfer to New York and come back, it'll refresh them
03:38and you'll get them.
03:39So objective two, large numbers of refugees are heading for downtown east.
03:44We need to secure control of the area for their safety.
03:47And it's got a progress bar of two.
03:49So I'm going to say downtown east control points, that sounds like.
03:53Pretty sure of that.
03:54So if we go to downtown east here, we've got three control points to pick from.
03:58If you've already got them green, just reset the control points by going into your global settings.
04:02Reset control points to make them red again.
04:04And you can do any of this on any difficulty that you want to as well.
04:08You don't have to be on heroic.
04:09You can do this on normal.
04:11In fact, I'm going to do that just to speed things up so we can change difficulty to whatever we
04:16want.
04:17And I can confirm capture control points in downtown east is objective two.
04:21Two out of two.
04:23Nice and easy.
04:23We move on to objective three now.
04:25We're getting reports of cleaners sighted in downtown east.
04:30Investigate and eliminate.
04:31And it has to be 10.
04:33So this is obvious.
04:35Kill 10 cleaners in downtown east.
04:38So this season, cleaners are invading DC, which means you are going to find cleaners at control points,
04:44open world activities, and other things like retaliation and that.
04:48So if you just come to downtown east, I've just noticed here I do have a cleaner control point available.
04:54I can go and hit that.
04:55That'll get me to 10 there.
04:56But there's also a elite resource convoy with cleaners.
05:00So just look at downtown east.
05:01Look for cleaner activities and kill 10 cleaners.
05:04And there we go.
05:05Scout week one has been completed.
05:06You can see objective three, kill cleaners in downtown east.
05:09I literally went to that control point and killed 10 cleaners.
05:13And that's it for scout week one.
05:14I'll be back next week covering scout week two.

05:23At the end of every scout video, I also show you the comm that you collect.
05:26Because for completing a week on the manhunt, you do get comms.

05:41And there's 13 to collect this season.
05:43You don't get all 13 from these scout missions.
05:48There will be some tied to the climax mission as well.
05:51And if you miss this season, you need to recollect these comms that you missed from the scout missions.
05:55Next season, by replaying the legacy mission, you'll be able to pick these up by repeating the mission.
06:00So it's not like they're missable or anything.
06:01But right now, it's the only way to get them until the season is over, up until the climax mission.
