01:27When I grew up in Louisiana, I scarcely knew a Republican.

01:32They love God and country and faith and family and the principles of the country.

01:40The money, the energy, the excitement, the grassroots is on the side of the insurgent left in the
01:45Democrat Party, and they do not stand for anything that South Texas stands for, okay?
01:50That's why you've got to have champions.
01:52You've got to have proven leaders.
01:54You've got to have guys who have been in the battle and have served, and they understand
01:57that public service is about serving the people and not yourself, okay?

02:11He's a man of faith and principle and family.
02:14He stands for freedom, and he's going to fight every day for the people of this district.

02:27It's only happened twice in 90 years that a sitting president has picked up seats for
02:31his party in that first two-year cycle.
02:34And the answer is, people ask, why is that?
02:36Because when someone wins the White House, the other party's kind of sore about it, right?
02:40And so they get their grassroots out, and they turn out the base, and they take seats away
02:44from the president in the House in that first two-year cycle.
02:48That is not going to happen this time, okay?
02:51Not going to happen, right?
02:54Let me tell you exactly where we stand today, because it's so important that people
02:57in this room, and your presence here shows us you understand the stakes.
03:00You understand this is bigger than this district in South Texas.
03:04This is bigger than Webb County, bigger than the whole state of Texas, and that's a big
03:07state, brother, okay?
03:08It's bigger than the whole thing.
03:09It's for the whole country.
03:11This is for the survival of freedom.
03:12Now, here's the stats as of this morning, okay?
03:15Very sober-minded about our challenge, but here's what it says.
03:17The Cook Political Report, probably the gold standard, they are trying to guess what's going
03:21to happen on election night.
03:23People on both sides of the aisle look at them for their expertise, and this is what they say
03:26as of this morning, they projected on election night, we're going to have 211 Republican
03:32victories, 205 Democrat victories.
03:35That means there's 19 seats in the middle that are the battleground, that are the jump
03:40ball seats.
03:41Now, of those 19, you rate them in importance.
03:43I'm telling you, your district is in the top three battles in America, okay?
03:48This comes down to your effort, your turnout, your investment, your time, your influence,
03:54all that you're giving us right now, and from the bottom of my heart, I'm so grateful to
03:57you.
03:58Tano is the perfect guy to flip this blue seat to red.

04:01The perfect guy.
04:06Y'all, we need fighters right now.
04:08This is serious business.
04:09Now, let me tell you a couple of reasons real quick why we're so optimistic about this.
04:12I have a very boring 90-minute slideshow that I did not bring to you today, okay?
04:15I'll be very quick.
04:16First of all, we've got a great record to run on.
04:18These incumbents, all the members of Congress, the Republican majority, even though we had
04:21a one or two vote margin, most of this Congress, what could go wrong, right?
04:25I needed an enforcer next to me to get this done, but he's coming, he's coming.
04:28I got reinforcements.
04:29But look, we got the votes delivered anyway, and we have an extraordinary record to run on.
04:33We passed over 800 pieces of legislation, landmark stuff, to fix the mess that we inherited
04:37from the Biden-Harris years, okay?
04:38It was a disaster.
04:40Among the first things that we fixed, you know what the biggest issue you know, the biggest issue
04:44in the 2024 election was?
04:45The wide-open border and the chaos that it brought.
04:48Elections have consequences, my friends.
04:50We sealed and secured the border.
04:53You're right.
04:57Do you know the stats?
04:58You all know it better than anybody.
04:59We have not had one release of an illegal into the country in over 16 straight months, okay?
05:05It's a big thing.
05:06We also got back to American energy dominance, and that's a big deal to Texas.
05:10In my state of Louisiana, we got back to peace through strength.
05:13We passed all this legislation, and we gave everybody the largest tax cut in U.S. history,
05:18okay?
05:19It's a big thing.
05:20The average Texan has more than $4,000 in their pocket because of the tax cut that they
05:25were given.
05:26They didn't have to send it to Washington to be squandered.
05:28They kept it, their own hard-earned money.
05:30And we also cut all the taxes on tips and overtime and Social Security, and we infused
05:36all the policies with pro-growth issues.
05:38So if you're a small business owner, and I know we've got a bunch here, that's the
05:41mainstay, the lifeblood of the U.S. economy.
05:43We made life easier on the job creators, the risk takers, the entrepreneurs because we allowed
05:49them to write off on their taxes investment in their business.
05:52If you invest in R&D, you invest in expanding to a new facility or new manufacturing or adding
05:58jobs, you can write that off on your taxes, and that's a big, big deal to people.
06:02That's what's helped so many people.
06:04Now, we've got a lot more work to do.
06:05We need reinforcements to do it.
06:06You don't just flip a switch and get out a 40-year high inflation that Biden gave us,
06:10okay?
06:10It's a gradual process, and we're getting that done.
06:13So a great record to run on.
06:14We have far, second reason, we have far superior candidates, okay?
06:19Okay.
06:22I'm not going to tell you what an upgrade this will be.
06:24I've talked about Tano in every way, okay?
06:28I talk about Tano all around the country, okay?
06:30Because he is the poster child for what we're trying to do and accomplish this week, okay?
06:34Go Texas, that's right, and I do it.
06:37I might as well be wearing the Texas logo everywhere I go.
06:40And look, y'all, I'm in the middle of a 30-day nonstop campaign fundraising tour.
06:44I'm going to 18 states, 34 districts.
06:46We don't stop.
06:46We saved the best for last in South Texas, okay?
06:53I'm telling you, everywhere I go around the country, I talk about Tano, and Eric Flores
06:56is two guys, two great examples that are down here in South Texas.
06:59They're going to flip blue seats to red that we've been needing to do for a long time.
07:02We've got the right people at the right time.
07:05They know the people.
07:06They know who they represent, and they're ready to fight for your freedom, okay?
07:10We've got to have them, and we're going to win this thing.
07:12And so we have better, far superior candidates.
07:14For the first time in 10 years, we have a slight fundraising advantage over the Democrats, okay?
07:19Yeah, big deal, big deal.
07:21Now, my job is to go everywhere, and I'm supposed to raise $400 million for the party.
07:26This is a gross approximation, but I think we, by God's grace, I think we crossed that line this past
07:31week, okay?
07:32So we're on track to do it.
07:35It's an all-time breaker, but I'm not the best fundraiser in the party.
07:38The reason that we are doing that is because people like you understand the stakes are so high, right?
07:44This is for all the marbles.
07:45We cannot lose this midterm.
07:46I want you to imagine a nightmare scenario with these insurgent Marxist Democrats taking over the Congress.
07:53They would impeach the president on the first day.
07:56They've already said what they're going to do.
07:57They'll convert every committee of Congress into an investigative body.
08:00They'll spend every waking hour investigating the president and his family and the cabinet and going on this lawfare exercise.
08:05It would roil the markets.
08:07It would undermine people's confidence in the U.S. and the economy.
08:10It would empower our enemies across the globe at the worst possible time.
08:14We cannot allow them to do that, okay?
08:16The problem that we have right now is that the people coming behind us don't understand how dangerous these ideas
08:21are.
08:22They don't understand that socialism is a road to ruin.
08:25They don't understand that socialism is a step to get to communism.

08:30They thought the communists, communism would be the utopia, the perfect society.
08:34They're dead wrong, okay?
