07:46with authorities confirming 977 people remaining missing, including 517 foreigners.
07:53Search and rescue operations continue in full force, with more than 13,000 police and emergency personnel deployed across affected
08:00border districts.
08:01Authorities report 1,545 individuals injured or rescued while efforts unfold under hazardous conditions,
08:10as critical transport routes and local infrastructure have been severely disrupted by the deluge.
08:15The United States Geological Survey clarified that the catastrophe was triggered by a massive glacier collapse and debris flow rather
08:22than seismic activity,
08:24resulting in rapid mudslides across the steep water valleys.
08:34China and Spain's real foreign affairs provided a report on the government's action plan following the devastating flooding that affected
08:41the Chinese Autonomous Region of Tibet.
08:49After the disaster, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China paid great attention to the situation.

09:53the China-Nepal border on Wednesday.
09:56In Nepal, around 500 people have died and nearly 1,000 remain missing.
10:04The floods destroyed homes, roads and bridges, particularly in areas along the border with China.
10:13On the Chinese side, the Jirong border port in Tibet was also severally affected.
10:21Three people died and 558 remain missing.
10:26More than 1,000 residents, workers and tourists were moved to safe areas.
10:32Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrived in Jirong to oversee the response and visit the affected area, following instructions from the
10:43President of China, Xi Jinping.
10:46The debris blocked waterways and caused barrier lakes to form.
10:51One of them, upstream from Jirong, has already begun to overflow and contains more than 2,500,000 cubic meters
11:03of water.
11:04Authorities warned that another 3 million cubic meters could enter the lake in the coming days.
11:12As a precaution, rescue teams and vehicles were temporarily moved to safe areas, while drones and aerial monitoring are being
11:23used to track the lake's development.
11:25China activated a level 2 national emergency response and allocated 220 million new ones,
11:36120 million to rescue, evacuation, assistance to those affected and risk mitigation,
11:45and another 100 million to the recovery of the damaged infrastructure.

19:19We continue now in the Middle East as Iran is preparing a list of conditions to present to the United
19:24States for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
19:26According to Mohsen Rezaei, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council,
19:32Iran has reached an agreement with Oman on a shipping corridor throughout the Strait.
19:37He added that ships will be allowed to use a designated temporary channel in the central part of the Strait
19:42if the United States meets Iran's conditions.
19:44Rezaei further warned that if the blockade continues, Iran will target the United States' economic interests fully and with intensity
19:52and force.
19:53The security official also stated that if conflict resumes, Iran will prepare for a new phase and that any future
20:00war will be different from previous ones.
20:09On Thursday, Tehran welcomed Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohamed bin Abdurrahan Al Thani as part of an official
20:18visit to discuss regional security.
20:20Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas had actually met with the Qatari official with the goal of continuing mediation efforts to restore
20:26navigation throughout the Strait of Hormuz.
20:29In this regard, Prime Minister Al Thani emphasized Doha's commitment to improving security and stability in the Middle East.
20:36Iran and Qatar are holding these talks to reduce military tensions and reach a diplomatic agreement following Washington's recent escalation
20:45of economic pressure against Tehran.
