02:00right
02:05I've brought you your post Jeff. I'll take Mr. Fairbrother's post. Thank you, Sylvia.
02:12Thank you, Sylvia.
02:16It looks a bit cloudy, Gladys. What's the forecast?
02:19Sunny periods interrupted by showers. Temperature normal.
02:24Beautiful.
02:26Well, that just about covers everything. Let's hope the sunny period comes during the holiday princess competition.
02:30Well, we could have it in the ballroom, but it's never so nice.
02:33That's a great plus about taking a holiday in a place like this.
02:36If the weather turns against you, you can have just as much fun indoors.
02:39Yes, that is a great advantage, isn't it?
02:43Yeah.
02:45Is that my record?
02:46And there's water music.
02:48Good. Now, I want this plate every morning to wake the campus up instead of that, erm, that March thing.
02:53You're going through with that, then?
02:55Oh, yes, yes, definitely.
02:57We must use every available chance we get to stimulate the campus imaginations.
03:00You see, we have a wonderful opportunity here to broaden their horizons.
03:04Make them realise there's more to music than marches.
03:07You get very enthusiastic about things, don't you?
03:11Did you talk to your class at Cambridge like that when you were teaching them about, oh, mummies and fossils
03:16and such like?
03:17Well, we didn't actually have classes as such in Cambridge.
03:21And there is rather more to archaeology than mummies and fossils and things.
03:26I suppose there must be.
03:27It may sound so dry.
03:29Oh, no, no, no, not a bit of it.
03:31You know, I could take you around the British Museum, and in a couple of hours I could spread out
03:36before you all the aspirations, artistic strivings of man,
03:41from the very first glimmerings of civilisation to the glorious achievements of the Roman Empire.
03:47Oh, I'd like that.
03:49Ooh, Gladys!
03:50Good, good, good, good.
03:52You know, Gladys, I really do believe that given the right stimulus there are no limits to the spiritual heights
03:58to which mankind can soar.
04:01I've got good news for you.
04:03You don't have to have a custard pie in your face this afternoon.
04:07Well...
04:08What was that, Ted?
04:09Well, you know the final of the Holiday Princess competition, when you say,
04:13Pies, pies, who wants a custard pie, and I give you one right at the kisser?
04:16Yes?
04:17Well, Spike and I have got something different.
04:19I'll show you. Spike!
04:24What the freak?
04:27What is it, Ted?
04:28It's Holly the octopus.
04:30Yes, but what's it got to do with the Holiday Princess competition?
04:33Well, when I've announced the winner, I say,
04:35we've got a very special treat for you, young lady.
04:37You are going to be crowned by none other than Holly the octopus.
04:40When he hears the cue, Spike emerges from the water.
04:43Ted, if I'm under the water, how do I hear the cue?
04:46We'll discuss that later.
04:48Well, how do I breathe?
04:50We'll discuss that later as well.
04:52That's important.
04:53He takes the crown and he puts it on her head.
04:54When he's done that, he puts all his arms round her and kisses her.
04:58Then somebody says,
04:59Take your tentacles off that girl, you naughty octopus.
05:02Whereupon, Holly turns at him and squirts him all over with black ink.
05:06I see.
05:07Who says, take your tentacles off that girl, you naughty octopus?
05:11You'll get a belter.
05:12There's no doubt about it.
05:15You mean you want me to say it?
05:18Well, one of the first rules of comedy is that a feline like that must be said in a posh
05:23voice.
05:23And you're the only one with a posh voice.
05:26Well, couldn't somebody else put on a posh voice?
05:28Sylvia's got a posh voice.
05:31The second rule of comedy, pretty girls are not funny.
05:34I don't think she's that pretty.
05:37Look, the point is, you've got the authority.
05:40You're real.
05:41The third rule of comedy, you must have integrity.
05:44But he can't have black ink squirted all over his claws.
05:47He won't use black ink.
05:48What will you use?
05:50Blackberry juice or gravy brownie.
05:53That'll never come out.
05:54He can wear bathing trunks.
06:00Weren't that rather undermine my authority?
06:02It didn't undermine Tarzan's authority.
06:06Ted, I'm not built like Tarzan.
06:10I've got it.
06:11You can wear the white coat from the funny surgeon's sketch.
06:14Surgeons have got authority.
06:16What do you think?
06:18Oh, very well.
06:19You know me, I want to play my part to the full.
06:21You're a sport.
06:22Ted?
06:23Ted?
06:24What's the matter, Spike?
06:25I've come over all fine too.
06:27Oh, quit there.
06:29I get it.
06:32Ooh.
06:36Holy moly.
06:42Barry?
06:45Look at this.
06:46Those girls have undone their bra straps.
06:49So?
06:49What?
06:50They only do it to attract men.
06:52It doesn't do anything for me.
06:57Whoops.
07:02I'd say it was the first time anyone had used a couple of walnuts to crack a sledgehammer.
07:09Shut it on her.
07:11I like that.
07:12Look out, girl's a mouse.
07:14Oh, get lost.
07:15You'd better not let the professor see her like that.
07:18He's an archaeologist.
07:19He's not used to seeing skeletons when me on.
07:22Oh.
07:23How do I look, girls?
07:25Oh, Peggy.
07:26I told you before, I don't like you trying on my jacket.
07:29You'll stretch it.
07:30I'll have one of my own one day.
07:32Hello, campers.
07:34Hi-dee-hi.
07:35Ho-dee-ho.
07:36Stick out at Peggy, you'll make it.
07:38You bet I will.
07:39Come on, Peggy.
07:40Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart.
07:43And you'll never walk alone.
07:47You'll never walk alone.
07:52Hey, shut up, you noisy cow.
07:56My man.
07:58My man.
07:58Right.
08:00Let's go through it once again.
08:01Before we start the holiday princess competition, while nobody's looking, you slip into the pool
08:06in a funny octopus gear.
08:07Get under the raft and wait there.
08:09When you get your cue, move along the side of the pool to the steps.
08:13When you get your next cue, out you come.
08:15Crown the princess, wiggle the tentacles, squirt the ink.
08:18Got it.
08:20Look, there's just one thing that's worrying me, Ted.
08:23How long do I have to be under the water?
08:25Hardly any time at all.
08:27Besides, you'll be able to breathe.
08:28There's a foot clearance under that raft.
08:30Well, nearly.
08:32Well, couldn't I get in just before I'm needed, like?
08:34Don't be dafted, I'll see you.
08:36You telegraphed a joke.
08:38The first rule of comedy.
08:39Never telegraphed a joke.
08:41Oh, there's something else I want you to help me with.
08:43When's your birthday?
08:44September the 12th.
08:46No, it's not.
08:46It's Thursday week, and it's mine this Thursday.
08:48We take it in turns.
08:49What are you talking about?
08:50It's one of my little perks.
08:52I'll tell you how we do it.
08:53Every Tuesday, we pick whichever one of the campers is the life and soul of the party.
08:57You know, big mouth of the week.
08:59You invite him into the chalet for a drink.
09:01And he'll see these cards and he'll say,
09:03Whose birthday is it?
09:04Ted, you say.
09:05But whatever you do, don't tell the rest of the campers.
09:07He doesn't like a lot of fuss.
09:09Come Thursday, he'll have them queuing outside the chalet with birthday presents for me.
09:14I'll have to save you next week.
09:16It's a dead cert.
09:17Never fails.
09:18Last season, I finished up with 300 bottles of aftershave lotion.
09:21And I flogged him in Bradford Market for 85 knicker.
09:25Not bad.
09:26I've got to buy you a few drinks and all.
09:28Spike, I promise you.
09:29Every Thursday, we'll both be legless.
09:32It's a bit of a cheat though, isn't it, Ted?
09:35Where's the cheating?
09:36I haven't told him it's my birthday, and you've told him to keep it quiet.
09:39Don't suppose Joe Maffin would like it?
09:41The money he pays us expects us to use our initiative, doesn't he?
09:44It's purely a matter of economics.
09:46Oh, I often wonder what they were.
09:53It's all right, there's nobody about.
10:05Fuck the octopus.
10:16Where am I?
10:17You're by the pool.
10:18Now, have a try to see if your ink's working.
10:28I'll get it.
10:29That's a good one.
10:37Get yourself in the water.
10:37Just a minute, suppose I get in trouble and I can't breathe.
10:41I tell you what, squirt your ink and if I see a patch on the water, I'll dive in and
10:45save you.
10:46I've got me life-saving badge, second-class.
10:49All right.
11:04Come on.
11:05Come on, hurry up.
11:07The campers will be here in a minute and they'll see you.
11:09You know what Ted always says?
11:11First rule of comedy, don't telegraph the joke.
11:17I don't look good.
11:25Hello, campers.
11:26This is Radio Marklin.
11:28Don't forget, in half an hour's time, we start the big event of the week.
11:33The Holiday Princess Competition around the Olympic-sized swimming pool.
11:37See you all there.
11:39Hidey-hi!
11:40Hidey-hi!
11:44It's a funny accent, isn't it?
11:46We'd willingly help out with the announcements, but Gladys guards that microphone like a mother hen.
11:51She won't let us near it.
11:52I think it's rather a soothing voice.
11:55I'm all for regional accents.
11:57I think one should be true to oneself.
11:59So long as you can understand what people are saying.
12:01I don't think it's as bad as all that.
12:03Well, it's a matter of taste, I suppose.
12:06Ted asked me to make sure you had your funny surgeon's coat.
12:10I bought her your funny surgeon's coat.
12:13You got to your funny...
12:15Whoa!
12:16Oh, hell!
12:19Smart girl.
12:21Yeah.
12:34You are going to introduce Ted, aren't you?
12:37Oh, do I have to?
12:38I'm not awfully good at that sort of thing.
12:39Oh, nonsense.
12:40You do it ever so well.
12:42Besides, Ted hits going on cold.
12:49Living it up.
12:58Right.
12:59Who do do your fanfare?
13:00You go on and say hi-de-hi and all the usual stuff.
13:02Then introduce me, and I'll come on to take over.
13:04Yes, but what do I say?
13:05Well, after your hi-de-hi, wait for them to say ho-de-ho.
13:07That's very important.
13:09Then say something like, yes, folks, this is the big one.
13:11The highlight of the week.
13:12The holiday princess competition.
13:14If you feel like saying something light-hearted, you might say,
13:17now, now, Dad, put away your field glasses.
13:20And then say in here to act as master of ceremonies, your friend and mine, the camp host, Ted Bovis.
13:24Hulda will play me on, and you get off quick.
13:26Right, here we go.
13:28Good luck.
13:29Hit it, Hilda.
13:34Come on, dear.
13:42Hello, campers.
13:43Heidi, hi.
13:46This is a big one.
13:49There you go.
13:49Is it working?
13:51I give up.
13:54Start again.
13:57Hello, oh, that's better.
13:59Hello, campers.
14:00Heidi, hi.
14:04Yes, folks.
14:06This is a big one.
14:08There you go.
14:08High spot.
14:10Lights of the week.
14:12The holiday princess competition.
14:14Now, now, Dad, put down your binoculars.
14:18Heidi, hi.
14:20I'll get him off somebody.
14:23And here to act as your master of ceremonies is your friend, and indeed, he's my friend
14:31as well, Ted Bovis.
14:34Beautiful.
14:36She has a wave of words.
14:37Heidi, hi.
14:38Heidi, hi.
14:40Yes, folks, it's the holiday princess competition.
14:43And without more ado, I'll introduce you to the judges.
14:46First, our resident riding instructor, ex-jockey, Fred Quilley.
14:54He knows it lightly fully when he sees one, and when he shouts they're off, he's not talking
14:59about the start of a race.
15:00Oh, let's go.
15:04Seriously, folks, it's all good clean fun, and the girls are really good sports.
15:08Next, our stars of the ballroom, our dancing instructors, international quick-step champions,
15:13Yvonne and Barry Stewart-Hargreaves.
15:21And to show it's all above board, every week we have one of the campuses judged.
15:25Well, I think you'll agree with me.
15:27This week we've had one who's been elabbed from breakfast to bedtime.
15:30Winner of the knobbly knees and the ugly face competition, Harry Plowright.
15:43He's a card, isn't he?
15:45Well, you've seen the girls in their evening dresses in the ballroom, and you've heard them
15:49all being interviewed in the Crazy Horse Saloon.
15:51Now, here they are, once again, in the flesh.
16:11Excuse me, can I have a word, young man?
16:14Well, yes, of course.
16:17How can I help you?
16:19You see that girl there?
16:20Number 12.
16:21Number 12.
16:22Ivy Green Street.
16:23Yes.
16:23Pretty, isn't she?
16:26Oh, yes, indeed she is.
16:28She's my daughter.
16:30You're a lucky man.
16:30Aye, and I mean to be luckier still.
16:32You see, I think she ought to win, don't you?
16:36Number 29.
16:37Well, that's up to the judges to decide.
16:39Oh, come on now.
16:40I wasn't born yesterday.
16:42I know how these things are arranged.
16:43The scores come to you, and you add them up, and you announce the winner.
16:48Just you add them up right, and I'll see you right.
16:52Get my meaning.
16:53Well, no, no, no, no, I don't, I don't think so.
16:55Say no more.
16:56Mum's the word.
17:00Number 10.
17:02Janet Smith from Watford.
17:07What does he want?
17:09Try to bribe me to let his daughter win.
17:12Oh, take no noches.
17:13It happens every week.
17:15Number 4.
17:16Bloodwin Rees from Port Talbot.
17:19Are you all right?
17:20How far have they got?
17:22It's just doing number 4.
17:23Oh, whack.
17:25Have you got an outer in there with you?
17:26It's me teeth.
17:28It's me teeth.
17:29It's time to get a move on.
17:31Don't forget, if you're in trouble, squirt your ink.
17:33Number 17.
17:35Sheila Murphy from Liverpool.
17:36Oh, look at that.
17:38You're supposed to be impartial.
17:41Next, number 25.
17:44Tracy Bardwell from Norfolk.
17:51Very flat, Norfolk.
17:54Dear.
17:55Nice judge.
17:57You better get your funny surgeon coats on.
17:59Oh, where is it?
18:00Here it is.
18:04Number 34.
18:05Teddy Darnell from Hornchurch.
18:17He's fierce.
18:19He's best for Gladys.
18:21And last but not least, number 38, Eileen McCulloch from Paisley.
18:27Whoa, whoa, whoa.
18:30What's going on?
18:31Spike says get a move on.
18:32He's freezing to death.
18:34Get off, you silly cow.
18:35I'm working.
18:37Yeah, she's been sitting on today.
18:40Little cow.
18:40The manager and well-known surgeon is going to take the scores and add them up.
18:44And while that's going on, let's see the lovely girls once more.
18:52Lovely.
19:05He'd rather do it.
19:06Mr. Fairbrother won't take long, folks, because I'm not kidding.
19:09This is the truth.
19:10He used to be a real-life university professor.
19:13What do you think about that?
19:15Give him a big hand.
19:19Who's the winner?
19:21It's very embarrassing.
19:22It's number 12, that man's daughter.
19:24Well, you've nothing to worry about, then.
19:26Have you?
19:30Who is it, then?
19:30Number 12.
19:32Right.
19:33I've got the result here, campers.
19:36The winner is number 12, Miss Ivy Greenstreet from Friarly.
19:40Give her a big hand.
19:43Easy peasy.
19:53And now, to crown the holiday princess, I'm going to call upon none other than that famous
19:58aquamarine star, Ollie the octopus, that is a bit shy.
20:01He needs coaching.
20:02Come on, campers.
20:04We want Ollie.
20:05We want Ollie.
20:08We want Ollie.
20:09And it's cold.
20:13And it's cold.
20:23Or it's like...
20:36Just a minute.
20:38Take your arms off that girl.
20:41If you don't take your arms off that girl, that'll send for the surgeon to cut off your tentacles.
20:48Come on, bro.
20:51Stop it at once, you naughty octopus.
20:53Not to me.
20:55Stop it at once, you naughty octopus.
21:07He's a good sport.
21:08Give him a big hand.
21:12What time's Harry Plowright getting here?
21:14He said around six.
21:16You'd better get a move on.
21:17Give me a hand with his birthday card.
21:18Right.
21:19These are a bit old, Ted.
21:21I mean, this one's got beer stains on it.
21:23Well, don't use it.
21:24There's plenty of here.
21:25Don't put too many out or he won't feel sorry for me.
21:29Here's a birthday wish for you now that you are 32.
21:34How long have you been doing this racket?
21:35Quite a time.
21:36Where's the scotch?
21:37There's a new bottle under me bed there.
21:39We can't use a new bottle.
21:41He'll think we're rolling in it.
21:42Here, grab this empty one.
21:46Just put a few inches in the bottom.
21:47Right.
21:49Oh, I've been meaning to mention it.
21:51You know when you do your funny policeman?
21:53Yes, Ted?
21:53I shouldn't do that business with the truncheon up the girl's skirt.
21:56It's very suggestive.
21:59What about when you do your King Neptune,
22:01you put your trident up the girl's skirt?
22:04Whoa!
22:04It's got three prongs, hasn't it?
22:07You've got to be very careful in comedy not to be suggestive.
22:10It's antagonising your audience.
22:14That's enough.
22:16Two, four, six, eight.
22:18Who do we appreciate?
22:20T.E.D.
22:22Ted Bulbis.
22:24Hello, hello, hello.
22:26Ted, me old darling.
22:27Come in, Harry, and sit down.
22:28It's not much, but it's home.
22:30It's real nice of you to ask me.
22:32Well, you've been the light and soul of the party all week,
22:35joining in everything.
22:36You've made our job a lot easier.
22:38Antisby.
22:38That's right, Ted.
22:39Now, what would you like to drink?
22:41You can have anything you like, as long as it's scotch.
22:43Scotch will do me fine.
22:46Ah, is that all you've got?
22:48We can't afford to drink scotch every day on our wages, you know, Harry boy.
22:51But you're welcome to all we've got.
22:52Cheers.
22:53Cheers.
22:53Cheers.
22:57Who's birthday is it, then?
23:03It's Ted's birthday.
23:04What did you go telling him that for?
23:06Supposed to be a secret.
23:08Well, he won't tell anyone.
23:09Why shouldn't I tell anyone?
23:11Well, if the rest of the campers get to know, before you know it, they've had a whip round.
23:14And they buy you drinks and presents.
23:16It's embarrassing.
23:18Well, why shouldn't they give you presents?
23:20You do a good job and you've given us all the good time.
23:22Harry, that's what I'm here for.
23:24I get paid to see you have a good time.
23:27Not well paid, mind you, but paid.
23:30I don't need the campers to give me presents on Thursday.
23:36I'll be the judge of that.
23:38Come in.
23:39Good man.
23:40I wanted to apologize.
23:41Oh, I'm sorry.
23:42I didn't realise you had...
23:43It's all right.
23:44We're just giving Harry boy here a drink.
23:46He's been the life and soul of the party all week.
23:49Salt of the earth.
23:49That's right.
23:50That's right, Ted.
23:51Well done, Harry boy.
23:52Well done.
23:52Also, it's a sort of pre-birthday celebration.
23:56That's supposed to be a secret.
23:57Did you know it was Ted's birthday on Thursday?
24:01No.
24:02No.
24:02Well, many happy returns of Thursday, Ted.
24:04I'll drink to that.
24:09Danger.
24:10Well, campers, it's a sad moment.
24:13But all your buses and trains are waiting to take you home.
24:17May I, on behalf of Macdon's holiday camp,
24:19say we hope you've had a wonderful week
24:21and we look forward again to seeing you next year.
24:25Goodbye, campers,
24:25and
24:26hi-de-hi.
24:28Hi-de-ho.
24:35Look at that wee-bold-headed camper
24:36presented me with a pair of garters.
24:38Naughty old man.
24:39I gave him no encouragement.
24:41You should have done.
24:41You might have got a waspy.
24:44They weren't a bad lot.
24:46Mind you, I shall have to rest flight up for a week.
24:49They pull on the reins like they were donkeys.
24:51They haven't got the hands.
24:52None of them.
24:54Well, there's one bright spot this week.
24:56The kids who threw Mr Punch
24:57into the Peter Pan paddling ball
24:58have got the chicken pox.
25:03He ate them, kid.
25:04How do you make out with a birthday present, said Ted?
25:06Not a bad at all.
25:08Two bottles of scotch,
25:09one bottle of gin,
25:1012 aftershave and 200 bags,
25:12and eight quid in cash.
25:13Short turn next week.
25:15Hey, Ted, could you spare a moment, please?
25:17Yeah, sure.
25:19I wonder what he wants.
25:20I don't know.
25:20Perhaps he's going to give you a present as well.
25:25Hello.
25:26Oh, er,
25:28sorry to interrupt.
25:29Can I have a word with the entertainer's manager?
25:31Oh, well, I'm afraid he's a bit busy at the moment,
25:33and then after that,
25:34he's got us in here for a staff meeting.
25:36Oh, well, er,
25:37will you give him this with my compliments?
25:39He'll understand what it's for.
25:41Yeah, sure.
25:42Have a nice journey.
25:44Yes.
25:45Yes, goodbye.
25:46I'm sorry about that, Ted.
25:47Would you sit down?
25:50Now, Ted,
25:51I don't want to make heavy weather of this,
25:53but I was glancing through your file yesterday
25:55and I noticed that your birthday's in November.
25:57Is that right?
25:58Yes, that's right.
26:00But you celebrated it on Thursday.
26:02Oh, I'm like the Queen, aren't I?
26:04I have a real one and an official one.
26:08In that case,
26:09you won't be having another one, will you?
26:11Of course I will.
26:12Every fortnight.
26:14Ted, Ted,
26:15that is not entirely honest.
26:17What are you talking about?
26:19It's one of my perks.
26:20I've been doing it for ten years.
26:22So I've heard,
26:23and I'm sorry,
26:23but it's got to stop.
26:25Why?
26:26Why?
26:27Well, because I'm in charge of this department.
26:29I can't have the campus cheated like that.
26:31They're not being cheated.
26:32They love it.
26:33It's part of the entertainment.
26:34Not any longer, Ted.
26:37Can't we come to an arrangement?
26:40What do you mean?
26:41Arrange it?
26:43Well, the bloke that had your job last year,
26:45I used to cut him in.
26:46I used to give him all the old spice aftershave.
26:48Because his bird were kinky for it.
26:50You like gin, don't you?
26:52I never touch it.
26:53Ted, no.
26:57They're all at it.
26:58I'm beginning to realise that.
27:00I'm going to put a stop to it.
27:01That's why I've called this staff meeting.
27:05By the way, Ted,
27:06I'm not going to mention you personally.
27:11You'll never do it.
27:13At least I shall try.
27:20May I have your attention for a moment, please?
27:22Quiet, please, Mr Fairbrother.
27:23I want to talk to you.
27:25Thank you, Gladys.
27:28Firstly, I want to congratulate you all
27:31on your hard work this week.
27:32The campers really enjoyed themselves
27:34and you all pulled your weight wonderfully.
27:36There are, however,
27:38various ways in which the campers
27:40are being exploited by you.
27:42I think you all know the sort of thing I mean.
27:44Let's just say you're taking advantage
27:45of their goodwill.
27:47It happens over little things like
27:49drinks, little favours, little gifts.
27:51It's not serious,
27:52but at the same time,
27:53it is a little corrupt.
27:55It is a little dishonest.
27:56This sort of thing has got to stop.
27:59Then goes you charging the kids' trippants
28:00for Mr Punch's autograph.
28:03Ha ha, you trouble, buddy.
28:04Yes, well,
28:06that's all I've got to say to you
28:07at the moment.
28:08I see Ted's got you all a drink,
28:10so I'll leave it to enjoy it.
28:11It's not mine, Mr Fairbrother.
28:13It's for you, as a matter of fact.
28:15It's got a note on it.
28:16To the entertainment manager,
28:17one good turn deserves another.
28:19Thank you very much
28:20from the father of the holiday princess.
28:24Ah, you're trouble now, buddy.
28:35Holy shit, Peggy.
28:38She grilled him.
28:40Well, let's put an end
28:41to your birthday racket then, Ted.
28:43Never mind,
28:44I've got a better idea.
28:45I'll tell you what we do.
28:47Utah, one of the campers,
28:48I'm suffering from an incurable disease,
28:50and I've only got two weeks to live.
28:52Oh, my God.
28:53I've got a wife and six kids,
28:55so I don't want money.
28:56You can't do that, Ted.
28:58Why not?
28:59You've got to hit a march bike.
29:00People these days
29:01are very insensitive.
29:06There you go, man.
29:14What are they going to do
29:15when they come back
29:16a couple of weeks later, man?
29:20They killed me.
29:29party.
29:32Silly.
29:35Silly.
29:36Got a good catch,
29:37boister girls.
29:38Here's a wave you can take on
29:40Pick up ontleader rock
29:43Haide, haide, haide, haide
29:44Haide Rock
29:45And in Tampa,
29:46I would set the boy
29:47A young allele in the war
29:49We were goin' DOM.
29:50Itaro ho de ro prede
29:52Haide, haide, haide, hagg
29:54Holy rock

30:06Boyie hurdy-ho
30:07Go, go, go to the Holiday Rock
30:09Hotty, hotty, hotty, hotty, hotty, hotty, hotty
30:12Go, go, go to the Holiday Rock
30:14Let's go!
30:20Thank you everyone for hanging out.
30:22If you made it this far, it might be a weird word,
30:25but use the code word SQUIRT in the comments down below.
30:28Don't go anywhere. Hold up.
30:30Ah, shut up, you noisy cow!
30:35So, you know, Peggy was taking it.
30:38My bad, we say Sue sometimes, guys, but Peggy,
30:40you know, Peggy was getting shots fired on today's episode.
30:44Lovely voice, as she always has a lovely voice here.
30:47But, you know, she got called to Cal twice, too,
30:50because then Ted, she's trying to inform, like,
30:53yo, get the, hurry up, man.
30:54My man's just freezing to death in that pool, man.
30:57Spike's, they get it in these weird-ass scenarios,
30:59which we love.
31:00I need more of that.
31:01I hope to see more of that.
31:02And he's like, yeah, what's up?
31:04What's going on here?
31:06After she, he hears whatever, you know,
31:08Peggy's got to say, ah, get off, you silly cow.
31:11Get out of here.
31:12Get the hell out of here, son.
31:13She was getting ripped today on today's episode,
31:16and must admit, it was, we kind of like,
31:20as funny as this is going to probably sound,
31:21but, you know, we like things being, you know,
31:24I guess squirted in this guy's face, Jeff, man,
31:27because this guy's face, man, if it's not pies,
31:30now he's getting squirted with octopus type shit.
31:33So I hope he continues to get stuff in the face.
31:36It's going to sound wrong, no matter how we phrase that.
31:39But I also really enjoyed, I think it's Barry, right?
31:44When we're seeing all these nice things out on the grass here,
31:49you know, and he's like, well, it does nothing for me.
31:51Like, well, sorry, buddy, it does a hell of a lot for me, man.
31:56You know, everybody got their likes and dislikes,
31:59but, man, that was a great line by Barry, man.
32:02He was funny as hell.
32:04Him and Yvonne, you know, she has her posh moments, too.
32:08But, you know, I did like, I love the way Gladys is looking.
32:12What's up with these Gladys-type characters?
32:14Their fears, their fight, you know,
32:17they got a lot of life in fighting.
32:18Hey, we had one of the greatest nurse, Gladys Emanuel.
32:21But Gladys here, we got the lovely Gladys here.
32:24And she's fighting, man.
32:27She's a little firecracker here, you know.
32:29So I definitely got to keep my eyes on her.
32:32I definitely think that in many jobs,
32:37yes, there's honest people and stuff.
32:39But listen, if people can get a little extra,
32:43I think people take advantage.
32:45Some guys may try to take it a little too extra.
32:48And stuff, man.
32:49I heard some war story.
32:50You know, he tried to.
32:51Well, actually, I won't say it.
32:53But, yeah, some guys try to get a little bit too extra stuff at work here.
32:57And, you know, they get in trouble here.
32:59So it was a great idea, a funny idea to,
33:05hey, yo, you do my birthday this weekend.
33:07All right, next week we got you covered.
33:09That's a great scheme, you know.
33:11Because, again, he is the life of the party.
33:14And naturally, at some point in time,
33:16this guy is going to have a party there.
33:18So he's taking advantage of the kindness of strangers, you know,
33:22coming out here.
33:23But it does give me that good kind of vibes that I felt when,
33:27you know, like the vacation vibes.
33:29The same vibes I had when I was watching Benny Norm.
33:31I get it kind of here, you know.
33:33It just looks so damn fun.
33:35I look forward to seeing kind of what the hell Spike is going to be dressed up as.
33:40Because, you know, you got that funny cupboard there, you know,
33:43funny costumes cupboard there.
33:45You know, I don't know it quite fit in there.
33:47But it's really funny with Spike and Ted.
33:50I like their dynamic, you know.
33:52But taking advantage, that shit was crazy.
33:54And then when you have, you know, the posh, you know,
33:58Jeffrey here, or Jeff,
34:01when he has that kind of look, you know, that righteousness,
34:03like, you can't be doing all that shit.
34:05And unintentionally, number 12 still, you know, still won.
34:10You know, the guy was like, you know, you scratch my back,
34:13I scratch your back in many words.
34:15He obviously phrased it differently.
34:16But he did a solid whether he wanted to or not.
34:22We had some tough judges there.
34:25Was it Barry again that said, it might have been Barry.
34:28He was like, oh, that shit is flat, man.
34:30I was like, damn, man.
34:31I think it was Barry.
34:31If not, my bad.
34:32Name's hard, difficult for me.
34:34But I think this definitely was an enjoyable episode.
34:38Peggy makes it great as well.
34:40The other girls kind of like, not really fighting.
34:44But, you know, they're definitely trying to get Jeffrey's attention here.
34:50Again, he's kind of like, he's like the new blood.
34:53It's like you going into, let's say you're from a place.
34:56And then you, you know, you go travel to another place.
35:00And then, you know, ladies or whatever, they sense kind of, oh, this is a new guy.
35:06You know what I mean?
35:07Like when I used to travel to the Poconos and stuff like that with my friends,
35:13there was, this was when I was in my teens.
35:16They had in Pennsylvania like these clubhouses.
35:18Clubhouses and everybody in that community knew each other.
35:22So when you went there, we went to go visit a friend who lived in the Poconos.
35:26It was like, we were like new blood and stuff.
35:29And then once we started speaking, the way we speak is much more differently.
35:34You know, each state has their own lingo.
35:37Each state, you know, has their kind of their own accent.
35:39Obviously, you guys know that as well.
35:41So, yeah, Pennsylvania talking is a little bit different from New York talking.
35:45And, yeah, the girls would be very excited.
35:48They're like, oh, wow.
35:48You know, the guys over there would be very upset.
35:51They're like, hey, that's our girls, man.
35:53What are you doing, boys?
35:54What are you trying to do and stuff?
35:56So me and my friends would just have a ball, man.
35:58It would just be great.
36:00So dope episode check.
36:02Sorry, we got to, you know, we got to put some stories on.
36:04But, yeah, I mean, I get these great vibes when watching this show.
36:09Peggy with Spike, man, trying to drown my man's in shit.
36:14But she wasn't trying to drown him.
36:16But, yeah, just, you know, give him a squirt and she'll see it.
36:19She'll see it.
36:19So I think that Sue's amazing on this show right now.
36:23I'm loving her performances here.
36:25I think Ted's amazing.
36:27Gladys and Jeffrey.
36:28You know, Barry had some funny moments, too.
36:30And I like Mr. Partridge.
36:33Obviously, each one is special in their own way.
36:35And I hope to see a little bit more from the other ladies, you know, as time goes on.
36:42You know, we're only, what, three episodes in.
36:44So definitely need to stay tuned to see more.
36:46As always, leave your thoughts down below.
36:47Hopefully, you're at least having a laugh and a good time.
36:50I'm like on party vibes.
36:52I think it kind of starts as well, too.
36:54Based off the intro song, it just puts you in a good mood.
36:57You know what I mean?
36:58But anyways, enough of my yapping.
36:59Don't forget to subscribe.
37:00Leave your thoughts down below.
37:01See you soon.
37:02Peace out.
37:02Take care.
37:02Be well.
37:03All the best.
37:03We'll see you soon.
