Content creator shared childhood stories from the countryside, talked about life with horses and showed situations she considers normal in rural life

Ja’Dayia Kursh shared with her followers a new list of curious habits connected to her life as a cowgirl. In a video posted on Instagram through the @jadayiakursh account, she presented the third episode of the series “Crazy Things I Do As A Cowgirl,” which brings together situations that may be common for people who grew up in rural environments but can seem unusual to those unfamiliar with that lifestyle.

At the beginning of the video, Ja’Dayia explains that she decided to show some behaviors that other people might consider strange. One example involves alfalfa, a plant widely used as horse feed. According to her, as a child she even tried alfalfa cubes and other foods intended for the animals out of curiosity.

The content creator also said that on occasions when she was running late for a performance and did not have her usual accessories nearby, she would sometimes use a horse brush to fix her hair. She recalled the habit with humor and acknowledged that it might seem unusual outside the environment in which she grew up.

Another topic she mentioned was the smell of cedar shavings used in stables. Ja’Dayia said she liked the scent so much that she once lined her tack room with the material simply to keep the characteristic smell in the space.

While recalling her childhood, she also spoke lightheartedly about games she used to play with friends on rural properties and pointed out that horse manure, besides being a natural part of everyday life in those places, is also widely used as an organic fertilizer.

At the end of the video, Ja’Dayia explained that she plans to continue recalling other childhood stories for future episodes of the series. According to her, many of these habits are part of her own definition of normality because she grew up in direct contact with horses and rural life.
