00:00Here is another design of an attendance tracker template that's quick to develop and interesting
00:04and it looks and operates something like this. Let's start off by inserting a checkboxes here
00:09select the area where you want to install checkboxes to then you go insert from a ribbon
00:14and then select checkbox from the controls here. Someone pointed out that adding checkbox like this
00:20is only available on Microsoft 365 and that statement my friend is absolutely correct
00:26but I have another video on how you can add checkboxes in masses with a single hotkey
00:31link to that video is in the description. Next to calculate the individual present attendance status
00:36basically we're going to use a function called count if the first argument would be all the checkbox for
00:43that particular individual and the second argument is true which means that when you select a checkbox
00:49the status enter true we're going to count that and for absent we're basically going to copy this
00:55formula here and i'm going to paste it and this time around we're looking for false status which
01:02means you're counting the number of checkboxes that are not checked after that we're going to apply the
01:07same formula right across every row like this and that completes the individual attended status now to
01:13calculate the head count let's say for monday we're going to say count if again the first argument will be
01:21everybody on monday and then basically since we're looking for present we're going to say true and
01:29then for absentees we're going to use the same formula but as you have guessed it we're going to look
01:38for false
01:39and after that apply the same formula across every column like this and after that you're done
