00:00Dave Bautista, as in Drax from the MCU and Bautista in WWE, is reportedly in talks to
00:06play Kratos in Prime Video's God of War TV series.
00:09Amazon is said to be eyeing Bautista for the lead role after the Odyssey star Ryan Hurst,
00:14who had previously been cast as Kratos, exited the production following a torn bicep suffered
00:20while filming.
00:21The plan was reportedly to delay production until next year, but Amazon and Sony are said
00:27to have opted to recast the role instead, with filming now expected to resume this fall.
00:33It's been a rocky road for the God of War series since it was announced back in 2022,
00:37and the first look image released in February was met with a largely negative reaction from fans.
00:43What do you think? Will Bautista be a good fit for Kratos,
00:46or is there someone else you'd rather see take on the role?
