00:00A very good day from Rob Palmer and Stuart Robson and welcome to the sunny city of Madrid
00:05Beneath that roof inside the stadium are Real Madrid and Malaga ready to do battle on match day three
00:13Been a long time since Malaga visited the Spanish capital
00:17They've gone off to a difficult start, no wins yet
00:21Whereas Real Madrid are 100% record in setting the standards, Stuart
00:27And it's Malaga who kick off
00:30Just happy to be back in the big league
00:34Playing on the grandest of stages, nothing grander than the Estadio Burnabout
00:42Real Madrid seeking to take control of La Liga in these early weeks
00:47But it's Malaga who are on the front foot
00:49Valverde having to dig in
00:54Bellingham
00:55His outrider is finished as junior
00:59Bellingham gives him an angle
01:01Ball is to Trent, Alexander-Arnold
01:03Alexander-Arnold going for glory
01:08Will that be a way to prove that he's worthy of a place in the starting 11?
01:13He just tries to cut across the ball
01:15Gets slightly underneath it
01:17He did have Brahim Diaz outside of him but he tried to go with the volley
01:22That's exactly what Malaga don't want
01:24They were on the
01:26Causing a problem one end and suddenly were called out on the counter-attack
01:38Alexander-Arnold
01:39That's a comfortable take for Alfonso Herrera
01:45As soon as Alexander-Arnold picked the ball up there
01:49Mbappe knew that he was going to look for that cross into the box
01:52Trying to bend it in behind the second centre-half
01:55Goalkeeper read it well
02:00Herrera
02:01He was very good against Atletico Madrid in that first game
02:04Apart from being beat
02:05Beaten by a couple of brilliant goals
02:12Here is Carlos Puga
02:20Dottor, the man who makes things happen in midfield on loan from
02:24Celta de Vigo to Malaga for the season
02:26I'm sure should they stay up
02:28That will become a
02:30Permanent move
02:36Bellingham
02:37Almost welcoming him a little bit of physicality in the centre of midfield
02:45Rafa Rodriguez the player that eventually
02:49Is penalised for a couple of tackles there on Bellingham
02:54Rooting up the far post
02:56Howson at the near post
02:59Alexander-Arnold puts it right in the middle
03:02And it was Rudiger who came crashing through
03:07He's a big threat in the air
03:11Defender just about does enough
03:14He doesn't get a clean header, it actually comes off the back of the defender
03:17Recio
03:27Man-to-man marking with a couple of spare players in the six-yard box
03:31Malaga
03:32The directive to referees this season is to
03:36Clamp down on any wrestling in the penalty area
03:40Either from defenders or from attackers trying to gain an advantage
03:49There they are, he's just speaking to the referee about something I think here
03:53That's why the game is being stopped
03:56They're looking at something that's for sure
03:58For a handball in amongst you
04:00I think they actually hit him on the
04:03Well there, I don't think they could
04:04That would be very much a questionable decision wouldn't it
04:11Well he saw nothing wrong
04:13Is VAR
04:15Daniel Trujillo may be getting a little busy here
04:19I think even Mourinho would be a little bit surprised if that was given
04:22But they're obviously still talking about it
04:25He knows nothing about it, his arm is up in the air
04:28But he's got his back to the plate
04:30Falling backwards, arm in the air
04:32No advantage gained
04:36I think that's the right decision in the end
04:38And it has to be said no
04:41Request for a penalty from Real Madrid either
04:43Alexander-Arnold's corner
04:46Bellingham was down in there
04:48And the referee can draw breath again
04:54Who scored
04:55From a set-play against Espanyol
04:59Really good header from Jude Bellingham
05:03From the goal line
05:09This is Joaquin
05:10Drops the shoulder
05:12Well what a move that was
05:15Just lacking the
05:17Shine at the end of things
05:19This is where they thought they might get a foul
05:21It wasn't a foul
05:22Just slipped over
05:23And here's the end product
05:24All started with the goalkeeper
05:31Mbappe
05:32Breezes past one and two
05:34Only half stopped
05:35Bellingham pits up the pieces
05:36Chance for Bellingham
05:37Taking on all comers
05:39It's the long route from
05:40Bellingham
05:41But a brilliant finish
05:47A reward for bags of determination
05:56Well it's a really good goal isn't it from Bellingham
05:59Malaga are saying there's a stray arm
06:01In amongst all that
06:02But I think Bellingham was just holding off the challenge
06:06But as we saw in the game against Atletico Madrid
06:09The one thing they lack Malaga
06:11Is a bit of athleticism
06:13Certainly no foul there
06:16We saw Mbappe run past a couple of players
06:18Now Bellingham likewise
06:20It's a bit too easy for him to go down the outside of the defender
06:25He hits it low and hard through the goalkeeper's leg
06:28It's not in the face of the Malaga player
06:32It's off his chest
06:33It's a very good goal from a player that's in top form at the moment
06:37Jude Bellingham
06:41Brutal from Bellingham
06:45In some ways under Jose Mourinho
06:47He has been unleashed this season
06:49Trick number one didn't come off
06:52Camavingham
06:55Alexander-Arnold
06:59Calverde
07:00Calverde directing things
07:01The skipper from the centre of the field
07:02Brahim Diaz
07:05Brilliant turn from Mbappe
07:07Second chance
07:09Second goal
07:12Bellingham at the double
07:19Real Madrid just too strong for Malaga
07:26Well the turn
07:28From Mbappe
07:29Is what causes all the problems
07:36Chias
07:37Sweeps it onto his right foot
07:38Yes, the goalkeeper makes a good save
07:42Bellingham sharp
07:43Strong
07:45Good header of the ball
07:47Makes it 2-0
07:48And 2 for him
07:50Here's the turn
07:51Good turn, he's onside as you can see
07:53Turns away from the challenge
07:54There's the shot
07:57Combination of the defender
07:59And the goalkeeper
07:59Might even be
08:01Does the defender kick it onto the goalkeeper
08:03It's going to be an own goal
08:03I think
08:04Own goal to the goalkeeper
08:06Herrero
08:06So it won't be Bellingham's second
08:08I don't think
08:19Alexander-Arnold
08:22Bellingham
08:23So it's Mbappe
08:24To Alexander-Arnold
08:26Mbappe playing in this
08:28Free roll at the moment
08:29Here he is again
08:31Alexander-Arnold
08:32Vinny Jr. is in there
08:33What a sweep it
08:37Superb goal
08:39From Kylian Mbappe
08:46The goal of beauty
08:48The goal of beauty
08:52They're bullying Mbappe here
08:56Good delivery
08:57Alexander-Arnold
08:59Didn't cross it into the 6-yard box
09:01Just cut it back
09:02The defenders retreated
09:05Mbappe was making his way into the box
09:09It's
09:10Really good technique
09:11From the Frenchman
09:16Just make sure everything was onside
09:18He was onside there
09:21I think he's just onside there
09:23There's the cutback
09:24See the defenders are going back to the 6-yard box
09:28Real Madrid players stay around about 8 yards out
09:30On the volley
09:32Doesn't try and hit it too hard
09:34Just makes good contact with the inside of his right boot
09:37Fantastic technique
09:38And they are running away with it here
09:42The first half of both of those matches
09:44Haven't conceded a second half goal yet
09:46They've gone to sleep here
09:47And
09:49Courtois was concerned
09:53We saw that
09:54Set play
09:55In their first game
09:57Madrid haven't done their homework
09:59To the outside of the near post
10:03I think he had it covered
10:05Just about
10:05Maybe
10:06Yeah
10:063-0 down
10:08It doesn't look like their spirit has been completely broken here though
10:12Malaga
10:13Brahim Diaz
10:14Out of touching distance to the defenders
10:17Well
10:17Finally they stop him after a good 40-yard run
10:27He did really well
10:28Didn't have too much support
10:29Tries to
10:30Come inside and then go back down the outside
10:36Recovering defender that just about does the job
10:40Gurido
10:40The left back
10:47One back by Alexander Arnold
10:49We know that he's created a goal today
10:50But he's made some notable tackles as well
10:54And Kalas Pugo
10:56Making a notable challenge
10:59On Mbappe
11:01Bowled over
11:07That's the recovery from Alexander Arnold
11:09Against Choupé
11:14He has top-class competition for the right back role in Denzil Dumfries
11:20Who signed in the summer, Dumfries has been chosen at the start of the season
11:30Well first
11:31Touch that
11:32From Choupé
11:34And that's what he can do
11:35He's a natural goal scorer
11:37And they gave him the freedom of the area then
11:40Again it's a good build-up play
11:44Tries to hit it first time
11:45He's claiming he had his heels clipped by Valverde
11:48I think here
11:52Mbappe
11:53Goes through the defenders
11:54There's a spare man there
11:55In Bresio
12:00It's a lazy attempt to the clearance force
12:02Very kindly to
12:03Vinny Jr
12:05Now Bellingham
12:07Cucurero tries his best to get out of the way
12:10Bellingham
12:11Short shot passing
12:12The goalkeeper was beaten
12:14An escape for Malaga
12:15Camavinga
12:20And Jude Bellingham is in
12:23Sensational form
12:23Tees it in
12:24Tries to pass on the
12:25Scoring responsibility to Mbappe
12:27When he first came to the club
12:31Another one who you forget the age is still only 23
12:34Here goes Mbappe
12:35Full steam ahead from Kylian Mbappe
12:39Passes on to Vinny Jr
12:41Alexander Arnold
12:44Desperate to score his first goal
12:45For Real Madrid
12:50Alexander Arnold
12:51Osen can't get there
12:52Bellingham can
12:53And a brave save
12:54He had to take on
12:55Two Real Madrid players there
12:57Herrero to keep it out
12:58And he's left his mark on Kylian Mbappe
13:03That was a good corner
13:05Out swinger
13:05Ball headed on
13:08Bellingham won the next one
13:09I think
13:09Just there
13:11Probably offside Rüdiger
13:21That's a foul by the goalkeeper
13:30They've not given up ho here Malaga
13:32Sticking to the
13:33Original plan
13:35And that was the scariest yet
13:37For Courtois
13:38As Cruz the substitute
13:39Tries to
13:39Make an impact on the game
13:42Drags it inside of
13:43Alexander Arnold
13:44Strikes it nicely
13:45With his right foot
13:47The goalkeeper would have been beaten
13:48Had it been
13:49On target
13:49You see it's rising all the time
13:59Rodrigo to come back of course as well
14:04Bellingham
14:05Taken down in full flight
14:07Card was always going to follow for
14:09To pay
14:11We think he's had one kick in the ball between us
14:13Don't we Stuart?
14:14He's now got a yellow card
14:15Yeah
14:16Not being his greatest
14:18All evening
14:20Performance
14:21He's always going to get in the yellow card
14:22Actually Bellingham had the chance to play it much earlier
14:24When he was frustrated the ball wasn't played to him
14:37Good tackle, can I think?
14:39Made two or three of those in this second half
14:41That's what he can do
14:44Brilliant
14:56Now it's
14:58Cucurea
15:01Finishes Junior, great run from the
15:03Spain international
15:04Cucurea
15:05Oh
15:06Chance for him to claim his third goal
15:10Jude Bellingham
15:12Good play Cucurea
15:14Forward run
15:17Probably trying to find Mbappe
15:19Slightly overhits it
15:20But when it comes to Bellingham
15:22Just changes his mind on technique
15:24Goes with the inside of his right foot
15:25And it doesn't quite come off for him
15:27See the spin on the ball
15:28They get a souvenir goal here
15:31Real Madrid readjust an important header away from
15:37Rudiger
15:38Chance to a few players forward Malaga
15:41Easy save
15:43Not much strength in the shot from David LaRubia
15:47He doesn't quite
15:49That will be one of the demands today from Jose Mourinho
15:53Good skill from LaRubia
15:55Continues his run but blocked by Cucurea
15:59Went past Vini Junior
16:00A little bit too easily but
16:03Quite so easy to go past Cucurea
16:06Just stood his ground in the end
16:10Zonal marking you can see from Real Madrid
16:17Which is all very well and good as long as you attack the ball
16:21It's worked so far
16:23No way past the defence they protected Cucurea
16:26Rudiger again has put in there
16:27Rudiger got an excellent performance
16:29It's Camavinga
16:30All free kick
16:32In a very tempting position here
16:35Just a step outside the area
16:41It's Camavinga who's trying to volley the ball away here
16:45Just catches
16:46To be
16:49An easy one to get outside the area
16:51I think it may have been going to a VAR review
16:53Had it been
16:54The other side of the line
16:57You can see the gap to go for
17:00But
17:00He decides to try to go through the wall
17:02And the referee
17:03Sees that as hand-board
17:05Rudiger felt that he had
17:07Taken him out
17:11The referee was
17:14Within just a few yards
17:16He knows what he saw
17:19He heads it onto the hand of Diamande
17:21It's not Rudiger who handles it
17:23That is a very, very harsh decision
17:26Head first
17:28He's actually protecting his face Diamande as well
17:41Easy decision
17:43Easy decision
17:50There is Garcia
17:51The view from above
17:55Three minutes
17:57Real Madrid
17:58Counter-attacking now
18:00Ada Goulet
18:04Feeds Vinny Junior
18:05Vinny Junior takes a pass
18:06The defender
18:06Passes on
18:08And Goulet
18:09With the fourth
18:14The complete performance
18:16From Real Madrid
18:18Now there's a problem
18:19Four against three at one point
18:21The timing and weight of the pass is excellent from Goulet
18:25The decision-making from Vinny Junior
18:27Not to go for goal
18:28Pass it across the box
18:30And a simple finish for
18:33As you said the brilliant young Turkish international
18:38One final play
18:40Referee will let this evolve
18:42It's Goulet again
18:45He's pulled back
18:46He was like a human parachute
18:47Well done the referee
18:48He's kept things flowing
18:49Mbappe keeps the momentum alive
18:51And
18:52And
18:53Herrero keeps the ball out
18:56Ramon gets a yellow card
18:58As you said
18:59Just dragging the shirt
19:01Of Ada Goulet
19:03Cynical play
19:07One final play
19:08Well Goulet has come up
19:10Determined
19:11Complete performance
19:12From Real Madrid
19:1575,000
19:17Satisfied fans
19:18Inside the burnabout
19:20Nine out of ten performance
19:22From everybody in the Real Madrid team today
19:24Mourinho making the changes
19:25And getting the maximum
19:27Out of the players
19:28Couple of goals
19:29For James
19:30Bellingham
19:33Mbappe claiming a goal
19:34And Goulet
19:35With the icing on the cake
19:37Bellingham MVP
19:37Real Madrid win
19:38By four goals today
19:40We'll be right back
