00:04KICKOFF HERE AT ROSA PARK
00:08I'm not quite sure it was exactly what Les Rennais were looking for
00:13We've seen the rise of rugby
00:17Feels like there's something brewing in Brittany
00:25Krakowski great ball through little flick finds the ball
00:29And he finds the back of the net
00:33Which he is just oh so good at
00:36Well he hit it out of the park he gets past Ajeman
00:40Now he's on the green and putted it perfectly
00:50How many sports will he get through this season?
00:53221 goals to be the top marksman last term
00:56He's already 2, no wonder
00:59Les Viginois just can't get enough
01:02Look at this little flick from Adrien Thomasin
01:05Then strength, poise
01:07And an inch perfect arrow of a finish
01:11The ball breezes then
01:14To a 1-0 lead over Le Mans
01:17Le Mans looking for an immediate response
01:28And the ball is floating but Charlie Cresswell
01:32Oh well, he thought better of swinging at that
01:35There was already a positive atmosphere
01:37Before a kick off
01:39Vester van der Poel scoring after just five minutes
01:41Now looking to double up
01:44Instead
01:46It's up and over from
01:49All swung in deep
01:51Gossick
01:52Managing to come and claim
01:54And it's quickly
01:55Outed away
01:56Anta Merlin
01:57Tells Lennetre to stay but
02:03All down the line for the
02:06For moving Le Paul
02:08But he
02:09It's a tad too early
02:10Gift
02:12The 1-0 victory over Paris FC
02:16We're certainly
02:18On a high
02:19This season
02:20Liam Rossini
02:21While Le Mans pick it up
02:23And it's a
02:23outrageous
02:29He's been caught out here
02:31There was a chance to play in early for
02:33Dangay instead
02:34It's for Mafuta
02:37Le Maître
02:42The break of the ball here
02:43Now Le Mans in
02:45Dangay
02:46I'm not sure he'd held his line
02:47So it was the right decision
02:48To wait for Mafuta
02:51Excellent play from
02:52Luka
02:56And trying to rediscover a bit
02:58Their swagger
02:58That's beautifully left for Le Paul
03:00To run on to
03:01The ball not quite
03:04Reaching either
03:05Szymanski
03:06Oh but Le Paul back to
03:08Back on to it
03:10Otamari wanted the pass
03:13Pass with precision
03:15And now it's down the line
03:16Into the area
03:171-1 with Le Maître
03:19Oh
03:19He didn't seem to go for a goal
03:22And what a chance Schrom
03:26Well it seemed destined
03:29For the net
03:33Amgay across goal
03:42Now that
03:43It's about Le Paul
03:46First touch
03:47There's a little too much of it
03:48To Voyer
03:48Who has to come across
03:50From
03:51Left to right
03:54Amgay
03:55It's the target
03:56And makes it 2-0
04:01Just moments after Le Mans
04:03Should have equalised
04:06Then
04:06Silencer
04:07Silencer
04:08Vidicers
04:09With doubling
04:10Their lead
04:19Well Merlin
04:20Finding Le Paul
04:21Good strength
04:23And then back to
04:26Sumari
04:27He found
04:28Rangay
04:29He didn't need
04:31An invitation
04:32Didn't need an invitation
04:34To take this on
04:37Disguised from
04:38Kosek
04:39He got down too late
04:41Up successes along the way
04:47Last time they met
04:48In 2009
04:492010
04:51Was back to back victories
04:53But that is a brilliant response
04:58Well they thought the game was over
05:00Le Mans
05:01Had other ideas
05:02Mafuta
05:04On the mark
05:09Franquez
05:09Won't have felt comfortable
05:11Giving the overall pattern of the play
05:14Scoring in successive matches
05:17Well the last time he scored
05:19At Rosa Park
05:20Was March 2022
05:21It was a 6-1 defeat
05:23For Messe
05:25And this Le Mans side
05:27The bit between their teeth
05:29And it is very much
05:31Game on
05:32End 2
05:33Le Mans 1
05:35And this Le Mans side
05:35Is there a chance here to try
05:37And level things up
05:39It should have been
05:42Not quite the anticipation
05:44Necessary
05:45But the chance still alive
05:47And that's what
05:48Clears
05:50Great movement in the back post
05:52But just got ahead of the ball
05:56Could have been another
05:58Form of Futa
06:06Still there to be won
06:07Okay away
06:08Gets knocked down
06:09By his own player
06:14What a great pick out
06:16Touch
06:17And then turn
06:21He's causing so many troubles
06:30Swung in with Cresswell under it
06:32And Le Paul
06:33And he's the latter
06:34Watch this
06:36Goes early
06:37For Le Paul
06:40Heavy touch
06:41But he's
06:41Managed to hold on to it
06:43He sees Soumari
06:44Canger
06:46Good challenge though
06:47For Le Paul
06:51Le Paul
06:53It's a little bit of luck
06:54But he's trying to make the most of it
06:57Canger
06:59Altamari
06:59Went early
07:01Back to the Jordanian
07:02Le Paul
07:03Waits on the edge of the area
07:04But
07:04Look at the
07:05Yellow shirts waiting
07:09As well
07:10Into Le Paul
07:11Lovely little spin
07:13Altamari
07:14Great feet from Koscik
07:17Le Paul making the most of it
07:19Great foot
07:20Go home with the big keeper
07:24Altamari
07:24Got it on target
07:26Half time at Rosa Park
07:27Ren went into a 2-0 lead
07:31Thanks to Esteban Le Paul
07:33Second of the season
07:34And Valentin Ronger
07:35From the edge of the area
07:43Back underway
07:44Le Mans made trail
07:46Certainly giving Ren
07:48Plenty of food for thought
07:51See if he can do so again
07:53See if he can do so again
07:53Once more he was making that
07:55Dash to the back post
07:57Looks to get back on side
07:59If he can
08:00Hit the ball back in the area
08:05Drills it in low
08:07Well there's a hound up
08:08It's all a bit messy
08:13Hands up from Frankovski
08:15Hands up from Frankovski
08:16Well Roman
08:17Le Sog
08:18Is coming across
08:19You'd imagine
08:20Louis Mafuta
08:21Would be one of the favourites
08:24To take it
08:28We're going to hear
08:29With the
08:30Mike Tabref
08:31After the season
08:33After the season
08:33After the season
08:38Penalty
08:39Well
08:40Dang it
08:46Mafuta
08:47At the double
08:48And Le Mans incredibly
08:51Our level
08:52And then
08:532-2
09:00The scoreline
09:01Both these sides
09:03And on match day one
09:06There's an awful long time to go
09:15Back
09:15With a bang
09:16In Liga McDonalds
09:20With just the second penalty
09:22That Le Maître
09:23Has faced
09:24It was Kenny Lalla
09:25Back in 2020
09:26Who scored past him
09:28This time
09:29It's the former
09:30Messman
09:32Who has left
09:33Even better one there
09:34For Charlie Cresswell
09:35Who steps forward
09:37Zemanski
09:39Krakowski
09:41Reflected wide
09:42Bit of composure there
09:43From Rangie
09:44As Paul plays a great ball
09:46Tamari
09:47He's got two options
09:48In the box
09:49Nordan
09:49And Madikamara
09:51And instead
09:52He brings in
09:52A sensation
09:54That is
09:56A great start
09:57To time in Lama
09:59And it's a red card
10:01Oh wow
10:03It has been a matter of seconds
10:05Since Jimira Sidibe
10:07Steps onto the field
10:09Jimira Sidibe
10:10That
10:11Hatches the ankle of
10:12Mr. Van Lepaul
10:14But
10:15It's the follow through
10:17Having just missed the ball
10:20That feels
10:23Incredible
10:25Just
10:26A minute after coming on
10:28His first challenge
10:29And sent off
10:30And now Le Maître
10:31Trying to
10:32Make up the gaps
10:33But they can't
10:34Kosek
10:35Managing to deny
10:37Anno
10:38Nordan
10:39The play stopped for both players
10:42Collision
10:45Great pass
10:47Made sure he got to the ball first
10:49But Kosek
10:50Off his line
10:51To narrow the angle
10:54In fairness
10:55Noah Boise
10:58Doing well
10:59Up to bring Nordan down
11:06Kosek
11:10Couple of caps
11:11Under 17
11:12And under 19 level
11:13For France
11:14Alongside
11:15Odson
11:18Beds on
11:19For his
11:21League
11:21And
11:21McDonald's debut
11:23Not the first
11:25Not the last
11:26For Le Mans
11:28Given the inexperience
11:29In the squad
11:30But
11:30They have
11:31From two goals down
11:32A good sign for
11:34Franquez's men
11:35It's happened back to back
11:36Weekends
11:37But they can still
11:38Quite a story
11:39That ends with victory
11:41You can just watch the ball
11:43Trundle towards the net
11:46Would have been offside
11:48Very tight
11:50Frankovski
11:50With a great pick out
11:52Ludovic Blas
11:53Should have picked out
11:54At the back of the net
12:01So close
12:03To the famous point
12:06Unless
12:07Unless Wren
12:07Could break their hearts
12:09The ball on the move
12:11Lifted over the bar
12:13Finished two apiece
12:16Looks like being the same
12:17Unless
12:18There's a magnificent finish
12:22Well he struck the post
12:25Denied by
12:26By
12:26William Pacho
12:27Last weekend
12:29Now it's the woodwork
12:31That's against him
12:37Now has space to
12:38Scan
12:40Spreads it to
12:41Now the camera
12:43Leyenda
12:44Space
12:45And strike
12:46And bobbles around
12:48Nadan
12:48On the volley
12:57But into the ground
12:58In fact deflected wide
13:00By a brilliant defensive block
13:03Le Mans
13:04Putting bodies on the line
13:06For the cause
13:07Heading off
13:09Nikola Kosek
13:10Injured
13:13And now
13:15Rosa
13:17And here he comes
13:22We're gonna hear
13:23The decision
13:24And here he comes
13:33And here he comes
13:34We're gonna hear
13:35The decision
13:38Loma
13:39He's only ever missed
13:40Once
13:41He scored
13:42The other three
13:44Esteban Le Paul
13:46To win it for Rennes
13:48What else was gonna happen
13:53He's happy to take the booking
13:55In celebration
13:57It has been
13:59A struggle
14:01But ultimately
14:03Rennes look on course
14:05For the first win of the season
14:08A five goal thriller
14:10As you like
14:12That foot
14:13Went the right way
14:16But it wasn't enough
14:17But it wasn't enough
14:24Harsh on Le Mans
14:26And it could mean
14:27Not so much
14:29If Le Mans could strike
14:31The ball's still alive
14:32Oh the captain
14:34Oh the captain
14:35A decade on
14:36From that velodrome strike
14:38La Valle getting
14:39A booking I'm sure
14:40For descent
14:41It's now or never
14:42For Le Mans
14:43Oh that's
14:44Oh it's a couple of bites
14:46No way
14:48It's a penalty
14:50Now
14:52Is an offside
14:54Going to save Rennes
14:56Only had one bite
14:58By Enda
14:58He got away with it
15:01Then he went for the second
15:05The wind
15:07Absolutely crazy
15:07From the young Spaniards
15:10This is crazy
15:14A prevision
15:15Oh wow
15:21What
15:22Let
15:22Let off
15:27From Frenquez
15:28As you saw the
15:29Look on the face
15:31Of Vedera
15:32Well
15:33If you want me to try and wrap this match up
15:36It's going to be tough
15:37Rennes ultimately victorious
15:40But against
15:41A Le Mans side
15:43Who
