00:00So when I was given the opportunity to come to Guatemala, I jumped at the chance because
00:04both the ERO and HSI side of the house are both performing way above their weight class.
00:08On the HSI side of the house, I was honored to meet with the 70 different vetted units
00:13of Guatemalans that every day have done tremendous work disrupting and dismantling transnational
00:19criminal organizations.
00:21On the ERO side of the house, they've been at the absolute forefront across the world
00:26in terms of third country national missions flying into a nation.
00:31So ERO has four flights a week flying into Guatemala, and I was able and honored to see
00:37exactly how it works on the ground.
00:39I saw a flight of Guatemalans come in, be processed, be helped to stay in Guatemala by being given
00:45a variety of social services, and I saw about 70 different Mexican nationals meet the Mexican
00:51consul, be processed into Guatemala, be placed on buses, and be shipped to the border across
00:57back to Mexico.
00:58So both sides of the house here in Guatemala are doing exactly what they need to do.
