00:07Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh.
00:09I will make thee swear by the Lord,
00:12the God of heaven and the God of the earth,
00:15that thou shalt of the daughters of the Canaanites,
00:18among whom I dwell.
00:20Thou shalt not take a wife unto my son,
00:24of the daughters of the Canaanites, of the Canaanites.
00:50And Abraham was old and well stricken in age,
00:54and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.
00:57And let it come to pass,
00:59that the damsel to whom I shall say,
01:01Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink.
01:04And she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also.
01:08Let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac.
01:12And thereby shall I know
01:14that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
01:17And it came to pass, before he had done speaking,
01:20behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah,
01:23the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother,
01:25with her pitcher upon her shoulder.
01:31Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water.
01:34Give me a drink from thy pitcher.
01:37I will draw for your camels too.
01:47I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Milcah,
01:51which she bear unto Nahor.
01:53We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.
02:05He gave me these golden bracelets and spoke with me at the well.
02:08And he came into the house, and he ungirded his camels,
02:12and gave straw and provender for the camels,
02:14and water to wash his feet,
02:16and the feet of the men that were with him.

02:48So I swore to my master
02:50that I would look for a wife for thy son
02:52from thy father's house.
02:54And that's why I am here to with you tonight.
