ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರೇ ಇರಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವವರು ಹಿಂದೂವಲ್ಲ' ಎಂದು ಆರ್‌ಎಎಸ್‌ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಮೋಹನ್ ಭಾಗವತ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಆರ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್‌ ಶತಮಾನೋತ್ಸವದ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಮೋಹನ್ ಭಾಗವತ್ ಅವರು ಅಮೆರಿಕಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವ ಅವರು, ' ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕು ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗೂ ಇದೆ. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಬೇರೆಲ್ಲೂ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಸಿಗದವರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂಬ ಭಾವ ನಮಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವೈವಿದ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ' ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that those who believe Muslims should not live in India do not represent the true spirit of Hinduism. Speaking in the United States during the RSS centenary global outreach programme, Bhagwat said that every community has the right to live in India.He highlighted India’s tradition of providing refuge to people who faced persecution elsewhere and said that the belief that the entire world is one is deeply rooted in Indian thought. He also emphasized the importance of presenting India’s diversity and inclusive traditions to the world.
