00:02Hello it is Monday the 31st of August and this is the weather update for the Northern Territory
00:07the week ahead. All right we have small areas of a high fire risk danger up in the Darwin sort
00:13of
00:13Catherine region across the week. I won't bother showing rainfall because there's no rainfall
00:18anywhere this week but we will talk about temperature. There are some very small pockets
00:22of very strong temperatures 35 to 40 degrees across the state throughout pretty much the second half
00:28of the week and into the weekend. Now for some areas this is quite standard for this time of year
00:33but as I said in those little pockets that are getting sort of 35 to 40 definitely warmer than
00:37we would expect for September. Okay Tuesday is the only day that's really sort of breezy
00:42coming into the Northern Territory as for the rest of the days it's fairly calm and settled. So let's
00:47have a look now at Catherine of the Northern Territory for the weekly update. So we've got
00:51highs of 32 all the way to 36 degrees consistently throughout the week and again consistent low
00:57temperatures in the high teens and low 20s with no rainfall along the way. This is a Tuesday wind
01:02gust we have at midday is our gust use point at about 40 kilometers an hour and then the rest
01:06of
01:06the week is calm and stable. All right that is the weather update for the Northern Territory this week
01:11have a safe week and we'll see you next time.
