Sadhguru pledges Rs 1 crore for Nepal relief fund; calls for 5-nation Himalayan disaster board
ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಗುರು ಸದ್ಗುರು ಅವರು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಕಠ್ಮಂಡುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ “In Solidarity with Nepal” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇಪಾಳದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ವಿಪತ್ತು ಪರಿಹಾರ ನಿಧಿಗೆ ₹1 ಕೋಟಿ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 26ರಂದು ನೇಪಾಳ–ಟಿಬೆಟ್ ಗಡಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಹಠಾತ್ ಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸದ್ಗುರು ಅವರ ಮೊದಲ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಹಿಮಾಲಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವ ವಿಪತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಹಿಮಾಲಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಗಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸದ್ಗುರು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
Spiritual leader Sadhguru on Sunday pledged Rs 1 crore towards Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund while addressing an event titled "In Solidarity with Nepal" in Kathmandu. This was Sadhguru's first public appearance since the flash floods that hit the Nepal-Tibet border on August 26.During the address, Sadhguru also called for greater cooperation among the Himalayan nations to respond collectively to disasters affecting the fragile mountain region, stressing that the Himalayas transcend political boundaries.
