00:08Today's destination is going to be Darband.
00:12Now, why did I pick Darband?
00:14Currently, in Iran, it's summer.
00:17And all over Iran, and especially Tehran, it gets really, really hot.
00:24Tehran, if you didn't know, has a warm and dry environment.
00:28It's somewhat like a desert.
00:30So, people find all sorts of ways to cool off.
00:34One of them is going to Darband.
00:37This is Darband's famous mountaineer statue.
00:41This statue has watched families, travelers, hikers, everyone come and go.
00:49This statue is in the heart of Sarban Square.
00:53It was originally created in 1958.
00:58And it still stands to this day.
01:01Now that we're actually in the mountain, this is a sky tramp.
01:05It is one of the ways that we can go up this mountain.
01:09People come here, and this line takes them to one of the farther parts of the mountain,
01:16where they get off and walk the rest of the way.
01:19This is mainly an attraction rather than a way of transportation.
01:23But it still has a lot of people coming and going.
01:28The sky trams are right over there.
01:30People are passing right through.
01:36That's another sky tram.
01:43This one is apparently sour.
