00:00Good morning, everybody. On Thursday, there is a court hearing set between LSU and the SEC in
00:09Louisiana. And Ross Dellinger, who's the senior college football reporter over at Yahoo, had a
00:14tweet yesterday afternoon with the latest that is this cluster of NCAA football. He first tweeted
00:20SEC school executives are exploring extreme measures to address LSU's plans to add former
00:27pro players, including boycotting competition, sanctioning the school with probation or expulsion
00:34and filing a federal legal challenge. Sources tell Yahoo Sports. He goes on to say an SEC school
00:41official told Yahoo Sports there are plenty of other schools who will take their place. The feud
00:48between league members and LSU has the making of unprecedented and historic decisions. My question
00:55this morning to all of you, especially Wiggy, because I know how much you love college football
00:59is who's running the show right now. Because is it Lane Kiffin and LSU who's saying, I don't give an
01:06F. I'm going to make this team the best team that I possibly can. And that includes adding these
01:10former players. Is it the SEC who says that they can sanction? Is it the courts who are saying, no,
01:16you can't? Is it NCAA football? And on top of all of this, now you have NFL teams that are
01:22saying not
01:22so fast. If a player goes and decides to do this, this doesn't mean that they can automatically come
01:28back and try for the league. So who's benefiting from this and who's running the show? Well, I would
01:33say, you know, I would say as far as running the show, I would say that it's probably more
01:41the players than anything. And the reason why I say that is the NCAA dropped the ball when they
01:47initially made this rule. Right. Right. So they initially held out the class of 2022 guys for
01:52the five years, five years of eligibility to play five years. Right. So what ends up happening is,
01:58and when I say the players, I would say maybe more a lawyer or somebody getting in a player's air
02:03to
02:03go, wait a second, that's not fair. Why you can't exclude these players who are, you know, why are they,
02:11excuse me, why are they being, uh, uh, separated when it comes to the five and five? So I would
02:17say
02:17that the players are the ones going out. Lane Kiffin is going, like he said, in one of his press
02:22conferences, like if I don't sign them, somebody else is. So he's just saying, if they're eligible
02:27to play, I'm going to take advantage of a guy that might be able to help my team when it
02:32comes
02:32to death. It's a complete cluster. Yes. But the NCAA screwed it from jump street, but, but, but it should
02:38be, you have four years, everything worked fine when there was four years of eligibility, whatever
02:44it was, if you five to play for it and you, you add the red shirt, it worked, it worked
02:48fine. It
02:49just, it worked fine. Right. You don't need guys trying the NFL, uh, being there for a while,
02:55coming back to get themselves a couple million dollars, 500, that three, whatever the number
03:01is. Right. Like they have completely screwed the pooch on it. Right. There needs to be an actual
03:07leader here. Yeah. Like you asked that there's nobody that the answer is there's nobody in
03:12charge. Well, you know, who really screwed it up is your boy Fauci because here's how
03:16it got screwed up. No, no, no. Because this is what a lot of people say. The COVID year
03:22gave a lot of kids an extra free year. So what screwed all the kids who were playing at the
03:29time. I happen to be personally bothered by it because it affected my guy, Brees Hill.
03:35Right. So you got, uh, you know, uh, uh, a player that has been there for a bunch of
03:41years, gets an extra year to stay there and you don't get a chance to, to, to get your
03:46starts. Right. I, I, and the COVID shot for this, Dr. Fauci, I plead the fifth year, but
03:54what the COVID, what the COVID year did is now it opened up a door for a specific group of
03:58kids. Right. And so now what everybody, I might plead the fifth on what everybody else
04:03goes, well, why is it, why does that kid only get an extra year? And my kid who might not
04:09have been in college get an extra year. So the COVID screwed everything up. And then
04:13the five for five, I'm cool with, but the problem was that they, the NCAA, when they initially
04:19put that rule in, in January, they said, we're going to start it in 2027. And then that's
04:26where somebody gets in there as of the 2022 kids and go, wait a second, these COVID kids
04:31got an extra year. Why is 2022 kids getting screwed? And that's ultimately how it seems
04:35rudderless. Yeah, it is. It's ridiculous. All right.
